Jeremy CThe were some changes made to policy when I picked up my vehicle. Those items should be listed on the website and customers should be notified of new changes with a phone call or email. ........if you are sending out an email, make sure it is received at least 24 hours prior to reservation when applicable.

Javier MOur original vehicle broke down in El Paso. We were lucky to make it there and that we did not break down in a remote area on the side of the road. We had to use roadside assistance who sent a mechanic to check out the check engine light that came on as we were driving into El Paso. The truck was deemed not drivable and had to be towed to the Uhaul center in El Paso where they then had to transfer our belongings to a new truck. Upon speaking with the tow truck driver, we found out that our original truck that we picked up in McAllen had the same problem with the engine 3 days prior to our trip. This means that they knowingly gave us a faulty vehicle to transport our belongings from south Texas to Arizona. The staff at the El Paso location was very helpful though. Our trip was delayed due to all of this but we were finally able to make it safely to our destination in Arizona.

brad bReservation made online for 24 hours. Upon arrival to the store, was informed the rental was only available for six hours. A simple phone call would have been appreciated to amend plans. This rental was utilized for business purposes and the inconvenience of misinformation caused my business to lose time and money.

Tamara MThis was a nightmare! First uhaul changed my reservation on the truck gave me a bigger one which cost 400 more dollars, and cost me more in gas. Then when I get to el paso to turn things in my storage unit was canceled and now I'm charged for it and now have to have permission to get into my unit to access my own property in total uhaul cost me 1000 more dollars for my move stress and inconvenience. I will never use uhaul ever again, and will not be recommending it

Christopher LWe had bad windshield wipers, took us 12 hours from El Paso to Colorado Springs because it was snowing and raining in between here and there and we could not see out the windows so we had to stop at truckstops wash the windows and wait until we can go again, was not happy at all. 12 hours was way too long to be in that truck and I would like a review back please

I get there needs to be pest control, but the box said “do not touch” so I had to move it to the hall with my foot. I hope no rats get my stuff. Access control panel also seems confusing in its messaging on the screen. I also don’t like needing the card cuz it makes it difficult for movers or other contractors to access my stuff in my behalf.

When I got back, I needed it for 5 more weeks. I paid two months at $160! It was only 5 weeks. If I only need the storage unit for 7 days, I should be prorated what I'm not using instead of paying a whole month for one week. Will not be using uhaul for storage ever again.

ROMAINE Z | First ImpressionsMy unit was not properly sealed. As a result everything was covered in dirt. The staff was rude and seemed annoyed with having to do anything. Their were two employees that were pleasant but the manager especially infuriated me as he found it a good idea to play tough guy with me on my concern with my move out. Instead he came in and said do we have a problem! Instead of asking me what my concern was and how he could help me. Then he tried to justify his actions with my 84 year old father who also was not impressed with his way of his way of handling the situation. After this I decided it was not worth arguing with him and told him to stop talking and just close out my account. He then told me he could just just make me leave at which point I told him I would leave when my account was closed. His response was do you have an email to send me the receipt at which point I told him to just print the receipt and he said " you know what I am out of paper so you will just have to give me your email" I told him the go and get some "explitve" paper because I am not leaving here without a receipt! Low and behold the printer magically had paper in it and he printed it and I left. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had and I admit I was not kind to the manager throughout our interaction due to the way he came in and spoke to me and my father but if he would have handled it in a better way I would have left and probably just left it alone. Instead he chose a very poor path and as a result it is ending with not one but two very poor reviews on every possible site we can find to post a review on. And to everyone we know. This is not a reflection on All U-haul facilities as I have had many. But this location is very Poorly run.
