Exceptional customer service. Spoke to the manager to let her know how pleased I was before I even left with the truck. Return was easy and painless. Only thing I don't like is the Uhaul app I had to call customer support 2 times to change things because I couldn't figure out how to do it on the app. On a positive note both times I called I was very pleased with the knowledge and professionalism.

Lizandro HUpon inspection of the truck, everything outside was fine. When I got home with the truck prepared to move my personal belongings I opened up the back of the lift gate, to a terrible odor. I left the truck open hoping to air out the smell to no avail. My clothing, bedding, and even furniture have a bad smell now. I spent over $200 on this rental and the process was seamless aside from this odor. I don’t know how to rid my belongings of this smell.

It still didn’t work until finally the young lady gave me her own code so I could actually use it to get in I would call the office I Was always referred to customer service. So I believe that should improve. I wasted literally 30 minutes of my time to be able to get into the storage complex. Thank you.

The GM is amazing and even on vacation she still took the time to make sure all my needs were met through my issues with the truck. The gentleman in the back in service department not so helpful and acted like he was being bothered and even watched a woman change a tire in the parking lot and didn’t offer to help I will still continue to use this location.
Rhonda DThis location was NOT the one that I had chosen for my reservation. My reservation changed multiple times on the day before; which added tremendous stress to our move. Ultimately the truck size that we reserved was not available within a driving distance less than 90 minutes. This location was identified only because I begged the representative to find me a place with a pickup time that would not conflict with when my movers were coming. I problem solved and asked to look for pickup locations the night before our initial reservation; was told that this one was 16 miles from my original reservation location. It was not. It was more like 35 miles from that location and added several hours of travel during rush hour traffic - the night before my move. This was a total nightmare. Won't be using Uhaul again for anything where timing is critical.

olga vMake sure you all read the correct gas reading when trucks are returned, also the young male that did my truck reservation lied and said that is automatically comes with a 50 mile for an estimate which I know is not true for other trucks I have rented, and how is the possible is you were to travel a distance a few miles away from where it was pick up for for an example a 5 mile radius from and to the pick location is an ESTIMATE of 10 miles, a 40 miles difference
khauh mThe check engine light did come on just 5 minutes before so got to my destination. I assume this is normal wear and tear, but the agent did mention that the truck had just finished being serviced when she handed me the key. There were a lot of miles on it, so maybe a full inspection is due. But the employees were very helpful.

The entry security card made you feel safe. I had an item that was not manageable to unload without the help of a handtruck device, and they loaned me one to unload that item. When I asked Will why the $5 upcharge, he asked the manager. I was told because the unit I have is 9 feet high, and others are 5 less due to their heights. That is a classic bait and switch tactic. The sign should show exact sizes for the exact amounts.

Rochelle M | Overall ExperienceEvery time I need to speak to somebody about my storage unit they could never pull up the m25 unit no matter what we did but every month I had to make that payment and got the late fees if I didn't have it in by the 17th. Even the very next day after moving out and I went to go turn in the truck that I rented they still cannot find my information that I moved out of the unit m25. Then on the day we did rent the truck which was the 16th the young man was in the office by himself trying to handle at least 12 customers at 4:53 pm.But I feel like because everything was a rush situation he didn't understand I was looking for a one-way versus having to drop it back off in Tampa. Then after realizing he gave me the one way he said he had absolutely no one way rentals at this location even in bigger trucks but I just feel like he was just trying to rush really quickly so that he can handle the other customers in the building.

The unit is listed as 9' high, but I don't have use of 9' due to pipes and a red line on the wall as a warning, that should be provided before renting the unit. 2. There are not enough carts in case multiple people are there loading/unloading. I went there to unload and a group had both carts, leaving nothing for anyone else. 3. People leave carts wherever they please, so they are not always in the front.

No one would come over to the unit and help me. One month after I moved in I got a email saying I had the inappropriate lock I was locked out of my storage unit. And I just recently got another email telling them it's urgent I need to contact them they didn't like the way I locked my unit. Will never rent from U-Haul truck or a storage unit again

Mikayla S | First ImpressionsI made my reservation almost a month ago and when I arrived at the location, I was first informed the computers were down and I had to wait roughly one hour for them to come back up. When they finally came back up I was informed by the shift manager, there were no storage units available. I attempted to contact the store manager, but had no response. I next tried to contacted the GM from my cell a couple times to hopefully have the issue resolved, but no luck. I next attempted to call the GM from the store phone and she answered. I explained to her my situation, and she informed me she would make a call to the manager on shift, but never did. The GM was no help at all and never contacted me back to give me an update. Luckily one of the gentleman at the store noticed how frustrated I was because I was waiting for an hour for the computers to come back up and to then be informed there was no storage available. I also had a trailer to return and limited time and he luckily found me another storage unit. This was by far the worst UHAUL experience yet. Only good news was the gentleman on shift came through in the end!!!

However, when I arrived for my check-in I was told the storage unit I booked wasn’t available. The unit I was given in replacement was smaller then I booked. At the end of the day I was still able to fit my things miraculously. The store was able to rectify the situation at the end of the day as well. The associates at this location were super understanding and helpful but the process could of been smoother.

That is my fault for agreeing to a first available unit on the second floor. An elevator may help a lot of people. Staff was professional and helpful. I enjoy storing items with your location as I have in the past as well.

I made a reservation on line for the biggest storage unit and when I got there the storage unit I reserved was already occupied. This caused me to have to get a smaller unit which makes my life more hectic than it already is, due to having to pull everything out each time I want something out of the unit. Not only that every time I book something with Uhaul the name that shows up on my reservation which is not my name but it is all my information every time the staff has to go in and fix it so it can reflect my name. It would seem as though it could be permanently fixed by now but it is not.

When I tried to leave my gate code didn't work. When I finally got out of the gate and arrived at the next facility, my coffee didn't work to get into the facility. By this time the physical office had closed, so I was forced to keep the Uhaul over night because I did not have access to a storage unit.

But the representative I worked with to check in was a bit rude when I explained that I already had a disk lock and did not need to purchase one. Additionally I was a bit confused with the insurance. I added it on for my first month and asked if I could take it off for the second to save a bit of money since for the second "month" as I will only be in the unit for three additional days. At this point I was told the insurance was mandatory even though it is billed as optional when I selected the unit online. It's completely fine if I need to have the insurance I was just a bit confused as that was the first time I heard it referred to as required.

Marc L | Overall ExperienceI felt cheated by a unit with steel column taking up approx 4 square feet in almost dead center of my floor and was given a paltry discount which took 3 months to finally be given. And then when I was I think 6 days late moving out they tried to charge me for an entire month. Then Katrina told me to talk to Marcus to settle it , he gave me a price of half a month , a week more than I used , and then they sent me a bill for another half month even after I moved out a week before the half month I paid for . My worst experience with U Haul in over 50 years of dealing with them .
