My storage unit had had some things removed from it that were expensive that I could never retrieve again 55 inch television and antique toolbox with tools in it a bag that had expensive hair cutting shears and a case that had Clippers and trimmers in it I had called to see if we could look at the footage because I had not been there from March 1st to March 17th when I moved out and I was told that I was should just had insurance on my stuff well I think that the security part of my belongings being taken from the unit c25 should have been at least checked into and looked at the camera footage to at least help me out with police because I need to know who was in my storage and I'm sure that we would have been able to figure this out if I would have had cooperation for the footage on camera it shouldn't be that difficult to look at the camera footage from the dates that I had confirmed that I wasn't even in town to go to the storage unit what had happened was I sent the keys to my oldest daughter in the mail and when she got the letter it had been broken into and the keys were stolen to the lock for c25. I called the very day that my daughter got the envelope which was March 5th and was told that they couldn't change the lock for me because then that would make them liable for the contents of the storage unit which at this time if the storage unit would have been secured knowing that the keys were out there somewhere and somebody else's hands then I would not have lost my belongings. The police department has been notified there will be an investigation and I'm hoping that the footage from your cameras and your security system would show these items were taken and it was not me or anyone in my family. I'd never had a problem with the trucks that I've rented I never used the storage unit before and I do believe that I should have some cooperation with this before the police get involved the police are going to be asking for the footage and I'm hoping that the footage is found. I'm not happy I have lost a lot and I cannot retrieve those things financially.

Was sent out on a 3,000 mile round trip with trailer tires that were extremely cupped, with one tire showing belts. We made it to Florida and Uhaul replaced both tires. We should be compensated for a day due to trailer down time/travel delay caused but this.

There was a wheel bearing on the trailer that was missing the outside dust hub cover and the bearings were open to the elements and lacking grease. While it never caused problems, however I was worried about it the whole trip. It needs to be fixed before causing problems.

But I didn't feel unsafe, it just would have been nice to have some lighting as we ended up in the storage unit a few time after 5 in the winter and had to use our car lights to see what we were doing! The posted hours are until 7. I arrived at 6:50 with the trailer. The employee that was there, made eye-contact through the locked door as he was looking out the door for his ride. He looked at his computer which I imagine was him seeing that he had already signed out and was deciding not to sign in. He then wandered about the store, up to the rack next to the door, continuing to pretend not to see me. He pretended for about 5 minutes, before acting surprised to see me almost in a comedic comic book fashion. He then talked to me through the locked door, saying he couldn’t help because they were closed now. Eventually he did come out the door where I asked if he could check it in, to which he insisted the morning staff would. I then asked where I should put the trailer, suggesting I put it back where I picked it up from. After considering having me block the truck drop off lane with it, he settled on telling me to put it in a parking spot in front of the store. I complied despite being confident it is not what the “morning staff” would have wanted. I had the trailer dropped still before 7. The employee left the building promptly at 7 to his ride which was waiting for him. I then proceeded to fumble through the web link to check the trailer in. The link insisted on redirecting from the web to the mobile app download. After downloading the app, the link then correctly went to the website meaning I didn’t need to use the app. I love the facility, it would be better for me if it was on the south end of town. The equipment is great. The employee just can’t possibly be up to the uhaul standards, typically I have no issues or concerns.

This in my favorite place for climate controlled storage. The isles are wide enough and the roadways allow for easy access to load or unload. Not much better than this. I do think this is the best storage location with numerous option in Lincoln.

Your people at this location were awesome. They deserve raises.
Your corporate fee structure is dumb and Penske is easier to use. Seriously don’t try to hide your fees make it as easy as possible for people to rent the things that bring in revenue.
I liked the estimated number of gallons of gas to properly refuel. That’s a legit thing to include on the rental agreement and should be an industry standard.
Again, the people working here were great. Give them more money.

One thing I thought was kind of weird me and my girlfriend spent 16 hours in the truck driving neither one of us smoke, and when the guy went in to check the gas tank and mileage, he said he found a pack of cigarettes right where I kept my coolers drink the whole time very confusing

this is the only self-storage facility with climate control that gets top scores for 3 reasons:
1. lots of climate control units with second floor options; 2. units are EASY to access via wide driveways and elevators; 3. these units are secure, in that EACH one has an alarm. I've safely had items stored here while being on the road for several years. Hard to beat this location.

The employees were awful and very unhelpful. I planned to store my things and my parents talked with the facility prior to me moving my belongings in. The employees said that no one talked to them and I did not have a unit only a reservation. They could only give me a larger unit and did not price match for the unit that I reserved and wanted. From my encounter with the employees, they did not know much and could not help any of the customers that had problems. Problems happen, but you need to have a good solution and this U-Haul did not.

Online reservations need to be clear that it isn't guaranteed. I had to change my 10 x 15 2 two 5 x 10 which wouldn't work. Management changed to a 10 x 10 & I had to keep both 10 x 5 couldn't just get one incase I didn't have enough room. My mover was amazing & got everything in the 10x10 & I could cancel 2 5x10 units. Management was good & tried to make things right for me.

Staff was helpful and friendly when I rented and when I made them aware that my door was broken on April 11th. This is the reason why I vacated the storage unit. The door is still broke and required 2 people to open and one to hold up in order to go in and out of the unit without being bent over. I realize staffing for maintaining your properties is an issue, or at least that is what I was told. I dont think I should have been charged full price for the unit especially after multiple pleas to please fix the door.

I asked staff if the unit was 24 hr access and he quickly replied no. But upon move in I see signs that say 24 hr access available upon request. I would like 24 hr access due to hrs I work and sometimes not being able to get to unit before 10pm

The manager and weekend staff were excellent. The full time staff lied about hours, would forget to unlock storage doors making my unit unexcessable, and would be too distracted with other things ( such as a video on his phone or the long line of people in the store to communicate with us effectively). When I was in my storage unit during posted hours but he wanted to lock up early he moved one oak case and one of my boxes that were a friend's and not mine on the ground roughly. This broke many things, and as I am disabled, and could have moved the items from the cart to my car but not the ground, I dislocated my right shoulder doing so. I'm still having issues with it and that was in February. I had also issues when I brought in a card to update my account and gave that card to that employee to update the account for me. He did not do it and I was charged a late fee the next month when the wrong card was charged and I came in with both cash and the correct card on time the next month to make the payment. The manager only refunded me 2.50 of the late fee which was his right but it was due to his employee's poor performance, not mine.
When my fiance went to rent a truck for the weekend from that store to do a one way and recieve a free month of storage, that employee also messed up that booking and we ended up paying about $100 more than it cost me last time to move over 100 m iles away for the same amount of days and miles. I think we are done utilizing uhaul at this location even though it is the closest to our new home. It's a real shame too because uhaul has always been my favorite place to buy and rent moving equiptment and has always had excellent storage facilities and I would normally give them a 5 star rating.

Manager was very rude. Told me I would not be able to fit the contents of my U-Haul in my storage. For no reason took the keys to my U-Haul from me and at one point took the U-Haul it self. I had to call my attorney to get him to give my U-Haul back so I could unload the last of the contents. My over all experience with this facility was horrible and I will not recommend this facility to ANYONE. Matter of a fact I do the exact opposite.

We had some issues with setting the alarms off several times; thankfully staff realized we were moving in and shut it off for us. My original unit wasn't big enough and I was able to easily upsize without problem. So far so good.

How long does the alarm stay disarmed?
We had a long move in process with many people involved and set off the alarm a couple of times despite our best efforts to follow the rules and instructions. Still not sure why the alarms went off or what we could have done differently?
Very disappointed that the nearest elevator was not working so we had to carry items a longer distance.
Disappointed that I was unable to reach anyone directly from U-Haul after hours to ask an important question.
Good facility though and glad to have it.
I think it is wrong to advertise a 10x15x10 unit when that size of unit was actually two units with two locks.

Unfortunately the website was not working for me to secure unit on my own so I had to call customer service twice and even then they still couldn’t help figure it out. By the time I finally figured it out on my own and the website started working, I found my units and one of them was locked up and I could not get into it and the other one didn’t have a lock inside so I had to go by my own lock so I could unload my vehicle. It was a very stressful experience and overall took approximately 2 hours to figure it all out, when it should have only took like 15 minutes.

My storage unit was not the cleanest when I moved in, but I swept it out leaving it cleaner than when I moved in! There is no light in the unit itself which is kind of a pain! You aren't allowed to see what you have in your unit! Lol! I have had other indoor units with a U-Haul facility and they have the motion lights inside the units also!

I was confused that we had to enter my code to disarm and to enter the building. At first, I thought any keypad was able to disarm/arm the unit. Today we were in the unit for a few hours before leaving. The alarm sounded several times. Was that us causing the alarm? If so, what do we need to do differently?

This was a very large and well maintained U-Haul and not only served very well for storage but also for renting trailers during our move. The only thing that would be nice would be a pager at the front desk as sometimes you have to wait a little bit for someone, but they are always friendly and helpful!

Moving stuff is not always very easy.
They understand here…carts available!…putting up canopies over entries…Wow…for increment weather.
They are always punctual & always ready to help! They keep the units clean and secure! They have supplies available. My kids were impressed with the storage unit I chose… It’s temperature controlled…they do a lot of stuff to just make it easier!! Well, they are almost like family there to me!!! I have no complaints!!!

We had a great experience with this storage facility and it's staff. It is so well maintained and clean, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a storage facility. Easy to rent and were so nice when we told them we did not need the unit anymore. I would definitely go back here if we needed a storage space again.

Although I didn’t have any negative experience with the old owners, the quality of facility maintenance and the expanded hours, especially with the office staff, were definite welcome improvements. I didn't understand how to get in the storage unit after hours so my son called the manager cell phone and he answered. I was very happy to be provided assistance even after uhaul was closed.

We worked with David and Ashley and will never find customer service like this anywhere!! They were always helpful, always willing to suggest products during our packing and moving, and were all around wonderful to work with!!! If EVERY experience with UHaul could be this good we would consider staying with them, but the company needs some work on their customer service -- go to David and learn how to do it correctly!!!!

Storage units r secure & clean. Office wise they didn’t have their stuff together. The bill was messed up & took multiple calls and over 2 weeks before it was fixed and they locked me out of my unit!

One month in advance a 20ft truck had to call The Day I had scheduled find out where to pick it up did not have a 20ft available they said they had a 26-ft to Close to use another location 15ft.
