Each order should only have 1 invoice, not 5 per order. The billing department is not helping me get one invoice. I had 4 boxes, on 1 order, and got 10 separated orders each with multiple invoices and charges. Billing somehow didnt see this issue when i called.

Bruce BushAll U-Haul employees were polite and professional. One in particular was clearly Outstanding. A young lady by the name of “Clohe” (sp?) could not have done a better job. This young lady seemed to be able to read minds and answered questions prior to them even being asked. This woman clearly enjoys what she’s doing and makes Everyone’s life better. BRAVO CHLOE (sp?) and U-Haul for having her. I assure you that Me and Mine Will be using U-Haul in the future and We’ll ALL be looking for Chloe and the fine group of professionals that work with her! I Do Not throw praise around lightly being a former United States Marine -but- one this occasion -again- THANK YOU U-Haul, and Chloe and the Entire Crew at the Military Rd location.

Pasquale MaggioreEvery single time we visited an alarm went off at some point during our visit (not trigger by us) and no one did a thing about it, which didn’t make us feel that our stuff was super safe if anyone wanted to break in, since no one responded to the alarms. There was often trash on the ground and the place didn’t look well cared for, sadly. When we came to move out from our second floor unit, the elevator was broken! I am disabled and can’t use stairs so my wife had to unload the entire unit using the stairs! We had let people know we were coming down that day from Ontario and someone should have let us know about the elevator before we drove down all that way and rented a truck. I would like a partial refund of our last month’s rent or something to make up for the hassle we had to deal with. The fact that we were able to have things shipped to the location a few times was a huge advantage and a big reason we kept our unit there as long as we did.

Steven HoseyWent 7 miles total. I refueled and the gauge was still at full . the truck it took 6 gals to fill it back up. I asked the sales person. That it must not of been full at the time of pick up. Did nothing. Sales person was very grumpy and not very helpful. We waited over 20 minutes upon return. To get anyone to acknowledge. Several people were there just ignored. Would not do anything about it. I had to clean off all of the windows prior to leaving as they were full of ice and snow. The back door was frozen and it took us over an hour to get unfrozen in order to start loading the truck. Over all very bad service.

Peter ZitoThere were some surprise charges along the way such as when we arrived at our destination & needed the delivery that was supposed to be free. We got charged that 1st time so we never used the delivery service again & had to call before accessing the pod every time. The staff were great in Niagara Falls NY & the Pod we held for a year was helpful. Thanks for everyone’s help along the way over the last year!

There were also metal objects that were rusted along with the mold. When I came to remove my items, the codes to get in weren't working, so the alarms went off twice. Nobody came to check when the alarms went off, they just shut off the alarms from the office. It made me feel as if my storage wasn't that secure.
Adria Strzelczyk | Overall ExperienceKaylee was a pleasure to deal with. Apart from her professionalism, the rest of my experience was negative. I asked for 24 / 7 access and was provided an access card that did not work from the time it was issued to me. I was told that I could call the day before and that the building would be left open if I needed after hours access. WTF?? How is that secure. I ended up not needing a second month and had nothing in my locker when it was time for renewal. I attempted to contact U-Haul the day before the renewal and was promised a call back from the 'Manager' before 4 pm. It took multiple calls and several hours to get a call back saying I would get another call back after 4 pm. I never received the promised call back and was billed an additional month - including a late payment fee - in error. Kaylee rectified this issue and was a complete professional. I nevertheless did not appreciate being sent notice that I was in arrears for an empty locker. In 2014 - 2016, I rented a 5 x 5 locker from this same location and had a much more positive experience. I'm not sure what happened since than but I was not impressed this time with the exception of Kaylee. She was very professional and is an asset to the company! Hire more people like Kaylee.

I don't feel like I should have paid so much because their were mice feces on the floor and on my stuff and what ever the mice could burrow through. I would have kept the storage unit longer if it were not for these things. Overall the staff were friendly and I like the convenience of the storage unit and being able to access at all times, renting a van over the phone with fast service, being able to park my car at the facility while I unload my stuff so I don't have to take an uber back and forth, equipment provided to help with loading/unloading, moving supplies to buy in the store and being able to drop key off after hours. Thank you!

Agent is not responding to my emails because I did not accept the initial offer and refused to sign off before the unit was completely empty. Once unit was empty more damage was found. Once I filed a claim, staff at local U-Haul facility refused to speak with me. Most staff members at local facility we're not knowledgeable of the procedure to file claim. One person, I believe his name was William Wilson, who has left the position, was as helpful as he could be and seem to be knowledgeable. Alicia was knowledgeable and provided minimum information and access to insurance company all other people didn't have a clue.

Amy Arends | First ImpressionsI reserved and paid for an Outdoor, Pull up storage unit months before my move-in day. When I arrived on my move-in day, I was informed that there were no outdoor units available. I even showed the printed paperwork. They said there would only be one inside of the building, but it was on the first floor. This was a struggle for the people who helped me move in, as we all thought (as we should), that I was going to drive up to my outdoor unit that I reserved. I didn’t give them a hard time, they said they were sorry, etc. Anyways, it all worked out. (Mind you, I still thought that the replacement unit they gave me would still be climate controlled, as this is what I reserved to have.) When I arrived 3 months later to move out, I was astounded to see my entire mattress as well as my box spring were completely molded. All different colors. After checking the website and storage map, I found that the room I was given, 1271, was indeed NOT climate controlled. I also was billed $148 monthly, whereas I thought it was going to be $114 a month. Besides the moldy mattress and moldy box spring and the room replacement, the young male employees were always very helpful and super kind.

There is a 2-3in lip at loading door that you must pull carts over, making it impractical to use them. The door into storage was too narrow, creating a challenge getting a couch inside, which was quite unexpected. Overall I would not recommend this unit

So I purchased one, then found later that I didn’t need to...also why does Uhaul need 3 phone numbers to rent. This is the only time I had to come up with three numbers...also the employee that helped me was a bit rude. I was told from another employee that he was new. Maybe I should have said something when I first got the storage. It was a month ago...every time I went to the unit after I never saw him again. Maybe he got fired because of it...don’t know.
