Nothing. This is the best location for renting U-Haul equipment. They have a ton of equipment, they are very fast with their paperwork, and everything is as it should be.

The gas gauge in the truck doesn't work until it is filled all the way and they told me there was no reinbursement for the extra gas im just out thet money

Location appeared to be very "active" which "required" well trained personnel to facilitate your intent/end state. Unsure how to answer the equipment being "clean and well maintained" question - truck was clean of debris however, to say without WEAR and or being CLEAN (really) is a stretch of your perceived expectation. I would recommend this location to the others as the General Manager, in spite of less than desirable expectation "attempted" to exude Customer Satisfaction at the end of the day. I still have questions regarding what I really owe U-Haul!

We used Uhaul under the impression that the mile rate would cost $0.69-$1.09 but my husband overheard a uhaul associate tell another customer (after her inquired about the mile rate) that the rates have changed and uhaul actually charges more on the weekends. Uhaul didn't even offer us a military discount. It is truly a shame that uhaul charges more on the weekend and changed the mile rate and not even updated this change on their website so customers can have an idea how much money they will be spending at uhaul. Please do better Uhaul.

He went out of his way to get our reservation organized and helped us pull the moving items we needed well after he was supposed to be off (he didn’t tell us he was supposed to be off, someone asked him and we overheard). I was very appreciative of the staff at this location after my reservation was moved here. My initial experience of using the self pickup at another location was a disaster and I will never do that again. Spending 40 minutes trying to get into the truck was ridiculous.

I reserved my Uhaul truck (a 20') on 3/8/2024, and was scheduled to pick it up from this location on 3/10/2024. I was also contacted by Uhaul and offered compensation to tow a Uhaul trailer to Dubois, PA. I agreed to tow the trailer in exchange for an additional 200 miles of mileage, but when I attempted to get my truck on the 10th, I was informed that they had no truck to give me. On 3/11/2024, I arrived to pick up my truck and trailer, and I was billed an additional $200 above my quoted rental price (for my mileage compensation?). That money was later refunded after a phone call. Staff were friendly and professional, but everyone at this location seemed unfamiliar with Uhaul's compensation program for equipment reallocation. Additionally, this location was obnoxious to get in and out of with a 20' truck due to congestion and tight lanes of egress. An improvement would be if staff would maneuver the truck out of how they parked it, instead of imposing that task on a customer.

Rented the 26 ft truck. Was issued the older model. Front wheel alignment was off balance. No Bluetooth. No cruise control available driving 650 miles. Rental days should be charged per day instead of the preset 4 days as putting gas in these trucks is a financial nightmare. Other than that, I was able to get to where I need to be.

Have vehicle waiting up front, not parked and wedged tightly between other trucks risking damage to rental and other trucks on lot, Make customer aware that there is a check list survey that will be sent to phone before they leave the lot, although I did a visual check myself. The shipment arrived on time but Marine Blvd. did not have the space to accept the U-Box. Not a big inconvenience, just a short delay. Kudos to the staff for “service with a smile”. Everybody at U-Haul in National City, CA and In Jacksonville, NC went the “extra mile” for us.

When I received the truck the check engine light was on. I would recommend Staff doing checks on the vehicles prior to customers picking it up to address any potential issues the vehicle may have before signing it out. Overall, truck and trailer worked exactly as they were supposed to and I was able to have a safe trip.

The local installer was great. Less than 2 hours. Communication concerning the availability of the actual hitch part was terrible. The corporate or central scheduling folks are almost useless. Better to try and coordinate with the locals.

sorry ass dealer was supposed to reserve a 26' truck on wed for pickup the following late friday, truck was sitting on the lot.... went to pick up the truck on friday, truck was sitting there, but it was reserved in someone else's name for some reason,....ended up driving 36 extra miles out of my way at the last minute to get my Uhaul truck.... sorry ass service for the original dealer I delt with......should have stuck with using Penesky

Dropped my U-Haul off Sunday, January 1. They did not put it through till the second and try to charge me for another day. Also tried to charge a cleaning fee for a U-Haul that was dirty upon pick up. Also wanted to charge me for gas. I dropped it off with more fuel than what was in it when I picked it up do not recommend dropping off the dish location.

I reserved a ramped 6x12 trailer based off the website details. When I actually picked it up and got home, the ramp actually restricts the 6 foot with distance which cause the trailer to be unusable for me. I returned it right away and was not given a refund.

There needs to be a more accurate way to measure the fuel. The desk clerk told me I was just over half tank, I got in and it was just over half a tank. In the paper it said I was 3/4 tank. I drove a total of 26 miles and they said I used all that fuel. I put two gallons of fuel in. They told me I’m going to get charged for the fuel…. I hauled a few kayaks…. There is no way I even used 2 gallons

Reserved storage not available. Had to rent 2 units for my stuff. Is that a money scheme? It’s 2 pm. 2 worker inside on duty. Not prepared to accept cash. Neither wanted to open register. Not informed that I could use my card. Took me half an hour to purchase to a $9.95 lock. Ridiculous.they help make my move a nightmare

I call and was put on hold for 30 minutes. I hung up recalled and got the 1-800#, I spoked with Matthew and he gave me reservations but had the address for 125 S Marine Blvd, No such place. It actually at 425 S Marine Blvd. also my Last name spelled was wrong. Anyway, it turns out to be Okay. Plus Matthew was very pleasant and informative about how many spaces available even tho it was much more spaces available.

Had to go to two different places to rent my truck because the online check in wasn't working and the first business was closed. Got to my storage location and the unit I was offered was half the size of what I needed. Now I'm paying twice what I budgeted for for a larger unit to store my things because I didn't have time to find another place. Horrible moving experience

Over all our experience with Uhaul storage was positive. The only complaint I would have is that it was difficult to get into the entrance of the storage building due to multiple uhaul trucks and trailers as well as non uhaul vehicles blocking the entrance making loading and unloading difficult.

Tonyetta was having some difficulties with the computer crashing yet she didn't let me leave before putting forth a great effort into trying to rectify the problem so that I wouldn't have to make a return trip. Everyone at the facility is friendly, helpful and goes above and beyond to help you. The only downside is that there are roaches in the units but that’s not in their control, as they’re everywhere in the area. Overall I had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this facility!

Price increase was not helpful at all. They repeatedly charged my card after I repeatedly told them not to. These fraudulent attempts to access my account forced my bank to freeze my account specifically for fraud. It took a week to get a new card and unlock my accounts. I'll never use U-Haul again.

I was giving the wrong storage space after I set up reservations with uhaul in Columbia SC. When I arrived at 425 s Marine blvd the staff was very friendly and try to do their best to accommodate me.i travel five hours to get my items and get there and have no room to store it.it has costed me more money with the inconvenience that u-haul has caused the unit that I'm in now I can't afford to keep it there now I have to borrow money to get it out.i have had a bad experience with the company I wouldn't recommend no one .

Bethany Romans claimed a glitch in the system moved me out of my brand new unit that she gave May 27th 2021 and my original unit 1375, which is why I wasn’t getting rent due notices for unit 1386. She did not know where my things were so for two months I was dealing with the idea that uhaul lost, stole, or sold my things. Someone else’s name was put onto my unit yet no payments were made. Ridiculous! I was lucky I took pictures and documented everything to prove it was my things in the unit. As Bethany was fixing HER mistake I and my emergency contact started to receive nasty threatening late notices. I also received an absolutely devastating and threatening lien and sale notice that sent me into a panic attack. I am a rape and abusive victim, my children dealt with abuse as well from their father. We were literally running away from him and trusting uhaul to house our things during this incredibly difficult time. Instead uhaul made me experience anxiety, stress, fear, and panic. I had to drop all of my life and plans and a lot of money, to spontaneously drive from Michigan to North Carolina to retrieve my things as I did not feel they were safe any longer. When I arrived I was able to use the new keys Bethany fedex to me to unlock one lock. But there was a second lock with black tape on it, essentially uhaul holding my things hostage. I had to inform the staff yet again of the situation but they could not find the keys to that lock and had to manually remove the entire lock mechanism from the unit door. So that I could take my things. I absolutely refused to pay anything more and had to say I will call the cops or fire department to cut the lock off. All of this took even more time out of the important things I had to and while there I was shaking in fear that my ex abusive husband would show up and get me. Also during the two months my things were missing uhaul was absolutely impossible to get a hold of. I could never get the actual store on the phone and wait times were hours long. The whole company is a joke and we, my friends family and anyone that will listen to me, will never use them again. Call me, Grace, 5178972146 for more explanation and to hear the devastating impact this experience has had on my life. I believe Bethany Romans should be fired for her incompetence in this situation. I am discussing a law suit with my lawyer.

I got nothing but a hard time. They did not have the storage unit I reserved, so they said they would give me a larger unit for a discounted price, then told me I could not get 30 days free because they cant discount a unit and provide 30 days free and gave me a hard time. So now I have to pay full price to get 30 days free, I'm very unhappy happy with uhaul storage, and feel I should get it discounted and 30 days free.

I have used this moving and storage several times why because of the employee's especially Jennifer she always found time to make sure my truck rental,my unit were always perfect! But most of all I liked about her is she never forgot my name or my situation see my son was shot in the head and thank God he survived but she wouldn't see me for months but always asked how he was doing now if that ain't employee that goes above and beyond I don't no what is! I did get incorrect information, was told I would get a month free when asking about the prices and when I came back to rent was told that was only for one way rentals. The sales person also rented me a van for the day and so knew I was not a one-way rental. It would have been good to have been given a discount bc if this mistake since it factored into me choosing to use the storage. Also was not told that I could only access storage unit during business hours. I found this out when I was there selling something from the unit and the employee came to tell me they were closing and I would not have access. This would have been useful to know up front. Maybe the employee was new and did not know?

Ur by a military installation. Hrs should be extended longer than 7 pm for customers w/o havin to rush through traffic. Also was not advised of the security system being down and completely off.
