During the pickup, the gentleman's helpfulness and approachability set a positive tone, whereas during the return, the lack of friendliness from the ladies left a negative impression. Encouraging all staff to come from behind the counter to assist customers and prioritize making them feel welcomed can significantly improve the overall reputation of the location.
DAVID BRAGGThere's no sense making customers go through the contactless process if it doesn't work when they get to the location. The app couldn't find me. So I to go through the same process with the service agent. Also, although there were several people working there, only one person was checking people in and out. Bottom line, the check in and out could be more efficient. That said, if there aren't many customers there, the check in and out processes are quick, the agents are friendly, and I can always get a truck there on short notice, so overall I'm very happy with the location.

Pascual TolentinoImprove gas accuracy. I drove 8 miles in the van and filled up one gallon of gas before returning the vehicle and was still charged an additional 4 gallons of gas. So almost 1 gallon per mile is what I paid.

Pascual TolentinoThe AM team when we checked in was absolutely phenomenal. Now when I returned the truck they were less than helpful. The guy at the return section was not helpful. I asked do I need to do it online to return vehicle or will it charge me $20 if you do it. He said I don’t know. I then asked do I need to take these photos since you are walking and already checked the vehicle. He said I don’t know. I complete return online and left him with vehicle. I asked him was there anything else I needed to do. Again I don’t know. I decided to go inside and ask at the counter as he made me nervous. She told me inside he could have just checking the vehicle in himself and the $20 is for only after hours. I told her he has the vehicle and the key and had already cleaned the windows and checked vehicle. She said I was all good. Frustrating but the team in the morning was so great that I would recommend to others. Thanks AM team!

Laura NunesThe only thing that was a negative, was the close out experience. It took a while to get the system to close out the contract to print a receipt. They said the system always runs slow and they sometimes have to use their personal devices because the provided devices don't finish or have to be reset. The people on-site were great and quick.

My experience with the resolution of these issues was professional and timely. With both the staff at the Natomas location and the phone support I received, everyone was kind, calm, and extremely helpful. I would indeed recommend this location and U-Haul to others without question. Thank you all who had assisted me!!!

Jennifer WebbThe interior of the cab always not cleaned prior to me picking it up. There was trash in the vehicle and a liquid in the center cup holder. The vehicle also had a check gas cap light on and the U-Haul team member said to just ignore it. The cab should have been cleaned out and a vehicle with a warning light on should not be rented out.

Great communication, helpful app features (like attaching photos of preferred drop-off location), friendly staff, and everything arrived in great shape. The Ubox arrived two days later than originally planned, but I understood given the weather. Would rent again.
Derrick FrankeFriendly staff that were easy to talk to. Despite the rain and chill they were in good spirits, got our truck pulled around and got us on the road quickly. The truck was in good order and the requested hand-truck and dolly were ready to go. My add -on purchases of boxes and a lock were handled without an issue. Good shop that shows I chose well.
Jeff BowersOn January 13, on a Saturday I went ahead and rented a van I was moving out from my apartment and I was dropping off my furniture at my storage. Once I was done unloading my furniture at my storage, I took with me a back support belt I took it off and I left it in the back of the van. I was in a hurry to leave the storage and I drove back to the U-Haul. When I arrived I parked the vehicle and locked it. I dropped off the keys. I couldn’t find my back support belt when I went back home, then I remembered that I left it in the back of the van so I thought Tomorrow morning I will go and ask if they have my back support belt which the people working there will have the courtesy to give it back to me. Unfortunately, I did not get my back support belt. All I felt was silence from the staff. I was given the key to the vehicle that I rented I checked the vehicle and it was not there. I came back inside and the staff member said did you find it? I said no I did not. I needed my back support belt to help my roommate move his furniture the next day, but to me it seems like one of the staff working at that U-Haul kept the back support belt:/ I just wish they would’ve had the courtesy to give it back to me when I came back in the morning.

Marshall MaresUhaul let us drive away without telling us about the "cut" gas hose line. Very dangerous situation they placed us in. Their comment: "Well, at least we won't charge you for bringing the van back on empty." Apparently, some bad actors will cut the gasoline hose lines to drain the gas tanks, but this particular van was not inspected.

FNU JatinThe first Van I rented had a strong smell of cannabis smoke and had paraphernalia. I had to switch. The second Van smelled like cigarettes and was dusty. We had to drive with the windows down. I ordered a van about a year ago from this location and had a much better experience. Not sure. What changed. But if I have to use U haul in the future I probably won’t go back to this location.

anndreia FaulknerThe rental truck was filthy on the interior. All surfaces were sticky, the cabin smelled like cigarette and there were bugs in the cabin! The cabin was extremely loud and everytime you turned the steering wheel, the cabin rattled. I have rented other vehicles from this location which I had no problems with. This was just horrible - if I didn't have a hard commitment, I definitely would of gone back to exchange the truck.
Gurinderjit SinghWhen going on-line to find U-Haul, the first locations I was directed to were in West Sacramento and Broadway, Sacramento. I asked for the location nearest me and was not directed to the U-Haul location on North Market even though it was only 2 miles away. You may want to check the algerithms to make sure the U-Haul closest shows up. Otherwise, great service and product.

sarah marreroCommunication between staff is horrible! My storage unit has been robbed and I didn’t know about it until I came to the unit! Homeless people stay around the property and nothing is done about it at all! Staff wasn’t helpful just said to make a police report! Then two weeks ago I was informed that they were no longer using the outside storage units and I had to relocate all my things to a storage unit nearby or use a storage box. Had they let me know sooner I would have made plans but given short notice they moved all my things to a u-storage box and didn’t even call me to let me know they had done it! I would 0/10 recommend this storage unit to anyone! If you want your unit constantly being ransacked and everytime you visit your lock is damaged due to someone attempting to pick it then this would definitely be the storage location for you!
