Eddie nWe got a rusted heap as a trailer rental despite there being several other options. An hour into our trip, the left light stopped working and we were told it was our car’s fuses that is the problem. I drive a brand new explorer. Also, if the car had a problem or the fuse was bad, none of the lights would work. They suggested we pull over and call roadside assistance, which we couldn’t do. We had to be somewhere before they closed which was the whole reason we rented the trailer. We asked if we could swap with a trailer at another location and they told us that we’d be charged for driving it one way and not returning the trailer. Their trailer had peeling paint, was scuffed and rusty. They obviously didn’t do proactive maintenance on it and yet they wouldn’t work with us to find a solution? We couldn’t sit on the side of a narrow two lane country road for over an hour to wait for roadside and that’s the answer we get in response? There are reasonable accommodations to be made when you jeopardize someone’s safety by not maintaining your vehicles. I get that no one could’ve predicted a taillight going out but scheduled maintenance and bulb changes should be expected when leasing vehicles. The manager was a nightmare. She clearly didn’t realize we could hear her in the background when talking to the employee. Then she told him to put us on hold where we sat for 5 minutes and she still didn’t get on the phone. He just came back on the line and told us the only options would be to call roadside (which would make our rental pointless since we would miss our pickup window and lose out on the items we were buying, plus would waste OUR time and gas) or to pay a steep one way fee. We will go elsewhere next time. We rent trucks and trailers frequently but it’ll be from somewhere else next time!

I have rented with Uhaul at different locations in the US and experienced horrible service. This location has always been the best. Be incredibly kind to the employees at this location and take great care of them!

Barbara bWhen I arrived at the store, a day earlier than needed, I approached the counter to let the lady know I was turning in a truck. She asked if I needed a receipt or just have it emailed. I stated I needed a receipt due to not having internet access yet since we just moved here. She got up and l went outside and my wife was out there waiting for me and noticed when she walked out that she looked up in the air and rolled her eyes and made a nasty face as if it was a problem to go out there and check the vehicle over. There were no others in the store to wait on so wasn't sure the issue. Then after about 10-12 minutes, I went outside to see what was taking so long and she was just sitting in the front cab. My wife stated she was watching her and she never walked around the vehicle, never opened the back end to see if it was clean and it took me walking out there in order for her to come back in and give me a receipt that was already printed out. Very poor customer service with this lady and will not use this location again. Might not even use Uhaul and I never had these issues with Penske rental in the past.
MARK HRented cargo van on Sunday and was supposed to have storage that day too..it didn't work out that way so I lost a day rental on van before I got storage unit... Now not enough time to get everything in storage that needs to be moved there.. last time I had no problems but this time I've had nothing but issues ..

David cOnly thing I have to say that would need improvement is why does it cost double to pick up at one place and take to another? My rental was a vehicle trailer that i rented to pick up my daughter's car in Indianapolis. Instead of picking a vehicle trailer up in Indy and bring to Muncie, I had to haul one from Muncie, empty, to Indianapolis and back. Overall, U-Haul had what I needed when I needed it. Thank You.

Bruce TI was upset to see that I was charged for an additional 12 miles on the one way drop off. I had to take a unit from a secondary starting point due to unit availability. The distance traveled from this pick up location to the originally requested pick up location accounted for the additional charge. I was not aware of a limited number of miles available for the one way drop off. More questions will be asked before my next rental.
Louis LI have rented from this location several times with no issues. I scheduled my pickup time a few days in advance which allowed ample time to prepare for pickup. When I arrived, I had to go out to the lot to get the truck and load the moving dolly into the back myself; the dolly should have been loaded in the back and the truck ready when I arrived. I am not sure if this was the result of a policy/procedure change or if it was the person working that morning. Either way it was not the type of customer service I expect and have always received previously from this location.

Brian PI would have put excellent except when I was getting my things out of the unit, I had came in through one of the garage doors and an employee came and complained about the door being open. He said something about a different individual hitting it and that it was out of order and the other garage door wouldn’t open for me to be able to get my stuff out easily.

William DLook at your pricing/policies for trailers. An open trailer should not cost $350 for a one way trip. I also should not be required to rent it for four days at that cost. If I only need it two days, why do I have to pay for four days? Two days would be half the cost. Seems like slight scam.

Jeffrey FWas fine with most of it until there were cockroaches on the carts and a bedframe covered in bed bugs and you guys say it's pest free I really pray I don't get any bugs from your storage I told the staff and they acted like no biggie and let the bedframe and stuff stay covered in bugs it's disgusting and paying that kind of money y'all should be way more clean and make sure your customers don't leave with bugs bc you don't really offer much protection for that it's like false advertising when you say pest free and there are pest I took pictures and everything bc I was so thrown off and grossed out by it

Jay JThe facility itself is very nice. Garage pull-in for unloading is awesome. Carta are in good shape and always seem to be available for moving your stuff. The floor plan could be better makes on each aisle, but there are huge maps around to help you figure out where you are going. I would have preferred 24 hour access, but that is an additional fee. When I rented the unit, the young man getting it all set up did not communicate well that they do not have actual 10x20 units. So, I did not ever got the memo that they gave me two units. When I went to clear it all up, my message did not make it to the manager to get handled the first day and the second day that I called the person that answered the phone was rather rude. I have almost always had great interactions with the staff at this facility. However, after yesterday morning, I won’t go back.

Charging a $15 late fee one day after the due date and then a second $15 late fee 12 or 13 days later along with being sent a threatening email that there would be a $50 lien placed on the unit and the items sold to cover cost in my opinion is a bit harsh and for that reason I removed my items and closed out my unit and went to a different facility and will NOT recommend uhaul to anyone ever

I phoned a few times to your hub which is selected by my internet connection, and each time I received a recording then my waiting time was 1 hour. If you had a computer programmer ("System Analyst") not an IT person designing this for you, you would have many many more customers. Where I work for 42 years, we did everything possible to answer the phones. If you don't answer the phone you're insulting the potential and present customers. I hope somebody tells the owners about this system.

I have driven uhal several times and know the gas gage tends to be a bit wonky. So I drove about a block and a half and the gas guard was buried on E… so they got it returned with alot more fuel then I left the lot with. We also used the self storage facility. Was east and super clean. Although an alarm (really high pitched) goes off literally every time you walk through..
