MARIE CWe mustve gotten the most rugged truck on the lot. It ran like 5mpg & struggled to drive. Headlights might as well have not even been on it, they werent of much help and point down into the road. I filled up as turning in & still got charged for 2 gallons of gas, the dolly was supposed to be $5/day (per rep renting to me) & I got charged $14 for 2 days. It got the job done but dang.
Dena RThe person that helped us, a make with brownish red hair and a beard, seemed to not care if we got the truck or not. We had to drive 30 miles to pick up the truck because the uhaul location close to our house didn't have a 10' truck. The guy at the cache rd location wanted us to take the truck without the car dolly, drive the 30 miles home, load the truck and then drive the 30 miles back to his location and have the car dolly connected and our car loaded. He acted like I was too incompetent to be able to unload my car when we got home, unhook the car dolly ftom the truck and then put it back when we were finished loading the truck. Not to mention the truck rode like a bucking bronco, it had SEVERE wind noise from the drivers window but not as severe from the passenger door and it only got about 8 mpg. This was the worse truck rental experience I've ever had.

Larry JWe made the mistake of filling the tank for a 70 mile allowance, and of course there's no way they can give us any credit for the amount of fuel over the 1/4 tank we were supposed to come back with. It was a full half tank more than required. I was glad the clerk could at least waive the 2 extra miles we drove. I thought that was mighty nice of her. Overall the folks were real nice, got all the paperwork done quickly, and we were in and out in short order. We were told we'd save $40 if we brought the truck back to the same location, which we decided to do. The receipt seemed to only indicate a $29 credit. I was too tired to ask about it. I'd rent from this store again, I would just make sure I knew the mpg on the truck and fill the tank accordingly, and also request a better mileage allotment to account for wrong turns and stops at Braum's for breakfast.

Terance JUhaul's Truck Share 24/7 was a pain. We were getting so frustrated because we originally wanted to pick our truck up at 6 am but ended up staying almost an hour and a half later because there were so many issues with the verification. There was a reason we wanted to pick the truck up at 6 am but at that point, there was no reason to if we were going to be there until 7:30 am. They told me someone would be there at 6 am if there were any issues but no one was there. It wasn't a huge deal but it was very frustrating when there was the option to pick up before they opened.
Izaiah PEverything was great and the staff were awesome. Give those people a raise for getting out in sub freezing temperatures to hook up the trailer.
Clark SThe manager lacked interpersonal skills. Definitely not a friendly person. Hopefully he's good at managing personnel and equipment because customer service isn't his thing. The straps on the tow dolly were a bit frayed but i managed. No issues with the equipment otherwise.

John PThe U-Haul must be overhauled or a major tune-up before allowing it out on the street/highways. It was the worse ride ever in my life. Warning the customer on how badly some of these 20ft U-Hauls engines drive or sound while driving and the severe gas mileage on these vehicles. This have would have been a very helpful warning. Financial preparation for a major move for many people is so vital. Therefore, any upfront notice would have been helpful to avoid any monetary shock.

Connor LPower steering was going out. The truck needs wheel alignment. And the plastic floor panels kept coming apart while driving almost causing an accident. The truck needs maintenance. The guys giving the trucks were great but the trucks need help. I even saw one truck with duck tape. Very scary experience.

Angela KGiven a defective vehicle in which taken 12 hours to recover. I was given a replacement vehicle the next day. When returning the replacement vehicle, I was initially overcharged until I discovered the billing error. I received a refund; however, under other circumstances, I would of been stranded. I recommend preventative maintenance to be performed on all returned fleet. I will not recommend business to other Soldiers executing a move.
miguel sIt's where I found out about extra mileage. I only when straight to the unload spot and then to turn in place. Ended up paying for a extra 14 miles that was because pickup place further away. However the return was made very easy. Just got charged for extra miles. Even though had over a quarter of a tank more (gold) gas in it.
Ron WI have never rented a truck from you before that did not have a ramp. I was surprised by this and did not look to see if a ramp was included when I picked up the truck. Other than that, the truck performed exactly as I needed it to.
wesley bHave the manager as well as the workers have a better attitude working in customer service, & change your rental policy it’s crazy they charge u for a whole day when u only need the truck for only 4- 5 hours it’s the greed that these companies have for money

The units in my opinion for what they were cost could’ve been a lot better or at the least have 24 hour access for those who work throughout the night . Ending my time with Uhaul was probably the better experience I had only because they actually were kind enough to refund the recent monthly purchase I made with them . In conclusion I wouldn’t come back and this Uhaul for such reasons .

James E | Overall ExperienceDante and the fellow employees were courteous and helpful; very informative and gave great customer care. The only thing upsetting was the facility itself. The outside had fake garage doors to deceive its customers that the facility had garage storage, but did not; they even had locks on them to play the deceit even further. Storage internal lights for the bigger storage did not have any lights, pathway and movement was minimal so if you needed to store a couch you wouldn’t be able too. There was barely any outside lights due to majority of them were broken or inoperable just there for show. The minor storage upstairs were as secure as you’d expect because thru the ceiling it was open so if someone was eager enough they could muster their way to steal what they were capable of through the roofing by climbing in them. Even computer operated, it didn’t have 24/7 accessibility which now a days a lot of the other facilities have it. Only reason we chose this establishment is because the first month rent was free so we didn’t have to pay.

One of my units had visible rat dropping and there was rat bait 8n my unit so uhaul is obviously aware of the issue. Several of my boxes were chewed through, I'm assuming rats. I will not recommend this storage facility. The bald guy employee was the only one worth anything I'm my opinion.

Have sent multiple emails to them stating I didn’t want my things and they’ve charged me every month since and claimed they never received my notices. On top of that I’ve been getting constant phone calls about it and no one could seem to help me fix the problem. So it continued to be on me and I continued to get charged for items I already claimed I was giving away. Would not recommend to anyone.

We were told different prices, etc. What we did like was how Shane was when we were checking out and getting a trailer to get our stuff to our home states away. He was helpful and kind. Some other staff were not as he was. Everyone has difficult days. The 2nd time we were there right after losing a family member was a mess to say the least. At least the owner did finally give us access. That was heartache that could have been avoided altogether. So in the end, it was a mixed bag of experiences, and Shane was the one that made it nice in the end. Also, our card was overcharged several months in a row, and the dispute was very difficult. When you speak to the office, ensure they spell your name correctly because it seems like it can never be fixed after first inputted and really read over everything. And get your copies in hard copy and emailed to you. Thanks again Shane for at least being exceptional.

My only concern is the inability of staff to maintain accurate records that I sent in to establish that I relinquished ownership of the contents of my unit. The first hard copy of the signed form and the key were lost. The second email was not acknowledged. It took a third attempt and approximately 16 months before the contract was finalized. This caused undue stress and made it seem as though I did not do my part on stating that I was giving up the rights to the contents in the unit. I was not living in state and had to conduct this through email and phone calls. I tried to inform staff initially to avoid such an encounter and it happened anyway.
