Please put accurate fuel on customers copy. Even though you tell the customer to check miles & fuel, common sense tells me a vehicle gets more than 5mpg. 14 miles and I was charged for 1.5 gals after adding over a gallon myself.

Associate lost my key to my U Haul and I was stuck for 2 hours with my property in the truck I had to call the police then associate improperly hooked up my auto transport so I literally travel from Indianapolis to Houston Texas with my car improperly secured and to top it off I was charged for a dolly I never received so yeah I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone and I paid $1850.00 for this terrible experience

I was not pleased with the truck. it needs serviced it was "all over the road" alignment etc.. the gas hand stated 1/4 not true it was almost on empty, but i put the gas well above 1/4 i only used the u-haul for about 3 hours at best.

I paid for a 10x10 got to the unit that was suppose to be mines someone stuff was in it. Mind you I have paid them and I have a truck full of my belongings. Charges me for a 10x10 ended up giving me a much smaller storage down the street on Pendleton pike and still did not refund me the difference of what they charged and what I got. Also called today 8 times no answer, called another location they picked up on the 2nd ring. I the professionalism is far below average. I was beyond disappointed. Also I paid for a dolly that was not in the back of the truck and it stated it had 1/4 of a tank the 50 miles to empty light was on when I got in it. It was just a mess.

The truck had blue tape on the windshield and water was running from where the rear view mirror is supposed to go. Please explain the contract better. I was told where to drop the uhaul and how many miles I was given but I was not told that if I extended the time I would be charged for another day rental. The customer service representative Kmary made sure to tell me it was in my contract. As I explained to her I understand that but I was not told that during the signing and payment process. I am waiting on the manager from Pendleton Pike to call me. It is Monday 1/15/23 I haven’t heard anything. I will be reaching out to the Springhill location to speak with their manager because according to the same representative that the only person who can refund my money. One more thing I was told that a uhaul associate was supposed to hook the auto transport up. The associate at the Pendleton Pike told me I could do it myself. I’m not sure which is true. The reservation was made with the auto transport and then I was given the wrong truck for a one way trip so the associate had to change the truck and then tried to charge me again for the auto transport. I was told that it would be fixed however it was not. My name was typed in wrong I was told it was correct I not sure if this has changed. The auto transport was due after the truck that was unusual for me but I don’t work for uhaul. Please make these to changes to help your new and old customers.

When the trucks are returned the nextt morning that person on shift needs to put returns in system sameday it’s returned not a day later that holds up the $100 that rental puts a hold on to get a truck costs a lot to get a 10 inch truck $19.99 then total equals $65 or more plus the $100 hold makes no sense to me but the ones whom rented it to me were respect and nice I rate them a 10

someone with a different last name picked up our tow. then after verifying with the website, our car was supposed to fit then did not. uhaul gave us the wrong drop off location and tried to charge us extra for the extra 11 miles. will never use uhaul again. however the employee at our drop off was excellent and really helped us out. very professional young man.

Equipment was ok, wasn’t dirty, however the engine light was on and the right mirror was “stuck” or something, I was unable to adjust it, but I made it work. My experience checking in was ok, however because I was a face to face customer checking in at the front desk and NOT online, I should have had options to check in “live” with a living person versus being directed to an “app”. Considering I choose to come into the store. When directed to make changes utilizing the app, I did so. The gas was incorrect on the physical paper I was given, I updated the gas that was in the truck through the app to make sure it was accurate. The app even took a picture to reflect the change. When I returned the truck I replace the gas (at the gas station that’s in the same LOT as this location) to match where the gas was when I left the lot. Because I choose to “trust” in your company and employees I did NOT take a picture of the gas level with my phone (I should have). I was told I would receive a receipt via email, which I did NOT, I had to call and ask for my receipt. When asked why Was I charged for “gas” I was told I didn’t replace the gas to the correct level. At this point I’ll take responsibility of not covering myself by taking a picture of where the gas was before I got out the truck. However, uHaul has LOST a customer in me for LIfE!!! I will no longer Support not utilize this company for my moving, storage or trucking needs! It’s very simple. We all have choices, & instead of “listening” to a customer who have used them for years. A TRUST worthy customer at that.they choose to disregard my concerns. I will spend my money with another company. Thank you

The facility is secure and has great access hours which is the only reason I don’t give it a 1 star. But I found a dead mouse in storage and some of my bags had holes in them. And on top of that the people they have at the front desk have horrible customer service, they take forever to complete transactions and have a horrible attitude most of the time. They act as if we were asking them for a favor which in reality I’m also just wanting to turn in keys or close my storage unit as fast and simple as possible. I would understand if they took forever with just one customer but no they take forever with everyone and while they’re completing the transaction they’re eating or talking and laughing among the other employees and to me that’s just not professional. I’ve rented truck and units from that place before multiple times but it just gets worse!

The onsite storage unit was fine if not a bit expensive. The only real trouble was when I or an employee had to use any of U-Haul's support, website, or applications. They never worked correctly for anyone in the store. Staff was always helpful and where able to work around the multiple problems, but considering it's a company issue and not a store issue I'll be avoiding U-Haul in the future.

I am very upset because when I put in my order they said I was going to get one month free storage then come to find out that that was false advertisement that I have to pay for storage this month and next month other than that you know it was okay I told the lady then I would not have enough money to get paid for the storage and pay for the truck she was very rude and said well if you don't want it we can always send it to somebody give it to somebody else and I told her that wasn't the point is that you know I had no other choice but to get the storage because I had no other place to put those little few things that I had but it's just the point that y'all say that y'all going to give a person on what month free and then when a person get there it's a whole new different l no one has even called me to apologize or let me know what's going on so that means to let me know that y'all don't care about your customers like y'all say like I said false advertisement say a person going to get a month free and then don't get a month free that's it in a nutshell

I found additional charges on my debit card that were not what was reported when I turned my truck in. There was also two trucks found on my account. I only rented 1 ten foot truck that went a total if 28 mikes. I representative at your 800 go uhaul assisted me in reconciling this matter.

The staff is polite but inconsiderate . I paid my settlement as agreed but then had to wait for over an hour to gain access . There was staff that had to inform me repeatedly that the manager was on the way. When the manager arrived she had a visible attitude and did not say a word to me, or even attempt to apologize. Then walk off. Like we were the problem or inconvenience and hadn’t been waiting for an hour or forced to be late to work. I’m coo on Uhaul.

Two price hikes within 6 months caused my to look for another storage location. I found one cheaper and closer to home. I had no problems with U-Haul until you decided to increase the price a 2nd time in a short amount of time. If you hadn't increased the price the 2nd time, I'd probably be there even though there is a place closer to me and cheaper.

I have been storing my stuff at this U-Haul storage location for about 3 years. I recently opened another one to put more in storage and I have been charged days to use a truck that I should have only had for about 27 hours. My unit 2120 had water coming in my unit. My two couches was damaged from mold in my unit. Because I took a bye out then my insurance claim wasn’t good but I had insurance for two years. That’s no reason my stuff should be damaged because of the vents and water leaks in the ceiling. The way the manager felt nothing she could do or insurance ppl couldn’t take the claim. When I seen what happen I showed the office manager how my couches was damage. Regardless what happen I should not get the run around about this claim.

Kudos to Ms Dennis on Pendleton , Indianapolis IN Always kind and Courteous. Looked forward to speaking to her each month when paying for five units almost 2 years. Moved from MS to IN. She’s definitely a keeper. As busy as this location is she remained cool and calm at all times. U-Haul, I would recommend a substantial amount raise for your employee for you wouldn’t want to lose her. Several issues! I rarely complain about anything. So, here’s how it went…. My pickup was 10am Sunday, Sept. 18th at the Castleton 86th St. location. A lady with glasses was rude to me. There were two people in front of me at the desk. This lady asked the couple something, but I didn’t hear what she said. As I was standing there, I let her know that I had done my online pre-registration. She looked at me and said, “Well, come over here then. I asked you just a few minutes ago, but you were just standing there looking down messing with your leg.” I had no idea she was even talking to me a few minutes prior. I thought she was talking to the customers in front of me. Also, she continued to be rude, Constant smirking, and short tempered. She was asking questions about my drop off location, and seemed confused because I let her know I did everything online already. She continued to treat me like I was an idiot. When she gave me the key to the truck, I asked her to walk out with me because I didn’t know which one to look for. Mind you…I never rented from Uhaul before. I had no idea about the truck numbers being on the bottom. She gave me zero instructions, no suggestions, and didn’t inform me about there being no moving pads available on the truck. I didn’t know I had to purchase them. She also failed to tell me there were 2 Uhaul storages within a couple miles of each other, so I went to the wrong one. Helping a new customer appeared to be an inconvenience to her. When I finally arrived, the staff was friendly at the Lawrence location in Indianapolis, but….apparently, all of my information was lost, or “did not transfer to that location” so I had to give them my information all over again…..and the storage unit was a lot smaller than I needed, but I was too exhausted to go back and attempt to change units. I had to let go of a few pieces of nice furniture because they did not fit. Trust me, I packed the unit! I told the person on the phone I needed a unit for a 1 bedroom apartment. Keep in mind, I never did this before, but that’s what he offered me. Nothing bigger. I don’t like someone treating me with disrespect, like I’m an idiot, and not offering me any suggestions, or help. I was left to simply “figure it out”. Lastly, I was charged wrong. I was over charged $77, and it should’ve been a free first month. I am pretty good about figuring out situations, but this experience was absolutely horrible!!!

After seeing the facility I left without moving in. There building wasn’t secure there are no cameras and the doors don’t lock. No keypad entry, no carts for moving items. I love it better at Uhaul When Owen and Molly were managing the storage facility! My only complaint is that after being with Uhaul for 8 years and faithfully paying my storage bill even when I got behind from loss of work...I still kept up paying for my unit! But having to pay to have lock that wasn't mine removed really was a major issue! My keys were stolen from my car so I was prepared to pay to have my lock removed...but to get to my unit and see that a combination lock had been placed on my unit...tells me that this was done by Uhaul and there should have been the combination code to open the lock? So I feel that I should be refunded back the $50.00 seeing that I was made to pay upfront in order to even get the maintenance guy to come remove the lock! That's the only grievance that I have from being with Uhaul 8 years!

Customer service is really important!!!! The non-chalant, short, oh well, glad it’s not me, without a smile (what I perceived from body language) manager that represents U-Haul is mind blowing. There may have been many people that abused Covid as an excuse; however, that was not the case for my family and I. We really experienced “life happenings” and when we were impacted by Covid, because of what U-Haul did in 2020 we weren’t eligible. I was very disappointed that I had to move an entire 10*10 unit out because I couldn’t pay $125 at a later date. The manger had the ability to accept my $580 and chose not to after I had been calling leaving messages for two weeks.

It been numerous times no one will be at the desks and it's minimum 10 mins before anyone even comes to the desk. There's no signs stating that they will return. Anyone could have went in took what they wanted and no one would have even noticed because no one is at the desk

Your internet registration did not give actual information once we got to the storage site. The location we picked did not have that available, the clerk found my phone number but not reservation info and the price was $10 higher than internet. You need to fix your internet but the staff at the storage was very helpful and professional. They were excellent the internet receives the below average mark.

for the last few months I have had problems with my account, last month, i thought it was resolved. Went in paid my bill only to find one of my units had a lock on it. Is there a problem with your system that it is difficult to use? Don't understand why is is such a problem. I like yhe unit and didn't want to move but this is really getting to be a problem when I need to get in my unit I should not have to go the the office and wait for 30 mIn the an hour to have this resolved again Please fix this this, thanks

I paid for a unit and not even a month later was trying to move in my belongings but was told I didn't have that storage room, it's been marked vacant & they basically had to issue me another storage. I had to pay insurance fee again and was told I will be reimbursed once corporate receives urgent message. Hopefully things are handled more responsibly in the future.
