MATTHEW BI would never recommend this location as I was treated horribly by staff. I had a staff member literally cuss me out. The representative that was helping didn’t like me asking him if he could bring out a dolly and literally drop the f*** bomb and called me a b**** I’ve rented from this place and have never had this type of treatment from this location. The manager Lynn was no help she told me that the representative has a speech impediment so that could’ve been why he cussed me? Really? I’m so disappointed and I hope management gives me a call on this concern. 214.406.1665

Jon TNot a convenient location for 24/7 rental as there is only 1 bar of cellular signal service and our check-in process took >1 hour and that was using the Uhaul customer service rep to help us. She was FANTASTIC! Also, the dolly we paid for was not included in the truck, so we had to move all of our boxes manually.

ARCHIE REmployee dropped trailer dolly onto truck leaving huge scratch and decent and said and I quote “sorry buddy” and the manager wasn’t on site to fill out a claim form. The trailer we got the inside was filthy there was even a half eaten cliff bar inside. One of the worst U-Haul experiences of my life
Corbin YThe computer system was messed up, requiring the people at the site to take additional time. This is NOT a problem with the location, but a problem with U-Haul's computer system. That caused a delay in the rental, but again it was not the locations problem but a problem with U-Haul's computer system.
Ralph RSystem downtime (Uhaul IT issues) the morning of March 14th, delayed check-in significantly. But Marco was very helpful stepping in to get me going as soon as the system was back up and running. Return was a breeze!

Kishen PCommunication was above average, although somewhat repetitive. Delivery and pick up drivers were on time and efficient. I would have loved to have had some type of hooks/loops inside the box to tie down or secure items.

The BEST customer service in the handful of years I have EVER received at this location, was the day I closed my storage unit; not even from the day I opened it, which was an awful mess.

Darleen F | Overall ExperienceMany reviews said that Ubox may not keep your stuff in good shape but the Lewisville location did. We had our stuff shipped from Portland Oregon and then stored in Lewisville for 3+ months and when it got delivered to our new place months later, our belongings were dry, clean and exactly as we left them. Granted there was a small hole in the bottom of the door which we stuffed with plastic bags before closing it up so just watch for little things like that. We also plastic wrapped all our pillows, couch cushions etc just incase of any water damage but none was noted. Price was decent as well considering it traveled 2,500 miles and was then stored for 3 months and then delivered to our new home. Thanks!

Michael M | Online Move InKeenan did an excellent job of getting me set up with the tow dolly I needed. He was fast and efficient and did a professional job getting me hooked up and rolling out as fast as possible. The equipment, however, seems to be falling apart and not being repaired in a timely manner. Keenan worked hard to find me a tow dolly with working lights. Finally he did find one, and I was ready to go. It seems to me that having a dedicated repair tech on staff would be a great benefit to UHaul for both customer experience and the bottom line.

John VI booked my turck for a 10 am pickup, the location was closed . had to call customer service and get an alternate location that delayed me till 11am. when i finally got the truck the tank was completely empty. I am realy disapointed with Uhaul. i will never rent with you again.

Employee that rang us up did not show us the vehicle, when we located it we had to go back in to have them move trucks blocking it in. Though did instruct for the truck/hitch connection. Other employees unprofessionally conversated loudly nearby. Received texts to confirm equipment numbers but once home/viewed, link was expired.
Amanda SI am exceedingly disappointed with the lack of communication. All retail workers were professional and pleasant. It is clear your use of automated messages falls far below acceptable standards of communication. I understand delays occur but to repeatedly have to reach out to follow up on the status after not being informed of changes is more the just an inconvenience, it's disrespectful of my time and money. My shipment was delayed multiple times without official notice. The retail location workers were not kept up to date on the status either. I do not blame them and they did everything they were able to try and work it out with me. Again everyone I spoke to and interacted with from the retail location was professional and pleasant. After all this I would be reluctant to refer anyone I know to using your services.

Charles BTruck was dirty: mud on floors of cab, cup holders full of crumbs. Manager cleaned driver side while I waited. Tank was empty so I had to fill-up immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful, but took longer to get in/out than expected after doing on-line check-in.

parker nWhile the Uhaul associate was attaching the auto transport trailer I was assigned, I noticed that one of the front tire tie-down straps was torn and frayed, and not long enough to be functional. Would have been a safety issue. The Uhaul associate promptly helped me attach to a different trailer in good condition.

I was told I had to pay for April to move in. I paid April & moved in. The unit had dirt & trash inside the unit & outside from a bad door seal & located in the corner. April 13th my Debit card was charged again for April & wasn't supposed to be billed until May 13th. I Called the main office from online# & the lady agreed ì shouldn't have beeen charged. I called the store on the 14th but was told the manager was out until Monday but would call me back. Donnie never did call back. I went to the unit on the 17th & when I opened the door it the floor & all my stuff & bed was covered in dirt, trash & mice & rat feces. The manager Donnie went to the unit & told ne he would find another unit or credit me . After several days he offered to repair the door and Clean up or I could move to another unit. Never did follow-up with crediting the double charge. On Friday 21st I moved to another storage facility but Donnie was not available Nor returned my call. I have disputed The duplicate charge & Asking for April to be prorated from 13th to 21st and credit by bank account.

There was a much less obstructive place to park it in the corner as opposed to right in the middle where myself and other people needed to get around.

The Antennae mast and very expensive commercial WiFi radio were stollen. They simply cut all the bolts and took everything including heave duty power cable with the trailer. Also the gate was wide open and didn’t function for the last week it was there. Up until this time I was comfortable, but then realized afterward that it was very unsecure. I won’t recommend your facility.
MICHAEL C | Overall ExperienceI came in very frustrated due to another uhaul location renting me a unit that was unavailable, someone else’s items were still being stored. The staff at Uhaul of Lake Lewisville were extremely courteous and helpful. They set me up with a new unit so that I could move in immediately which was a relief given I drove 2 days from Virginia and had movers with me. In the end it worked out because this U-Haul location was immaculately clean and felt more secure than the other location.
Cara F | First Impressions1. Well lit yes. Not Secure after I was allowed to exit by UHaul staff coming out to release me it still showed me inside. I went inside to better understand being locked in. I asked the staff to show me as out they told me that stuff is never accurate. Therefore anyone can be inside and it is not secure, 2. Not convenient when held prisoner behind gate without ability to exit. 3. Not convenient when must wait 15 minutes on phone to asked yo be let out. Then 20 minutes inside office waiting to find out why I could not exit. 4. No rude especially when I was closing out my account. 5. Rats tore up bed wrapped in plastic (bed trashed), ate bottom of furniture, urinated on bench (bench trashed). Had to wipe down hard surface furniture with bleach. I will have to sort through papers, & photo boxes outside with rubber gloves. I closed after 6 years due to rats and being locked in behind gate. Unable to resolve before rating because no one is available. Excuse for everything. New owners. I was told to get new access. I was not. Even with new card unable to get out and one access gate doesn't work.

I am very disappointed that the manager did not suggest another facility since she was aware that we were storing personal belongings and not machinery. We were refunded 2 months rent of our 14 months in an effort to make amends but it did not equate to the damage and loss.

Sometime between August 28th and October 15th someone attempted to break into my trailer. The office staff told me I could contact the company that monitors the cameras for information on who did it. The monitoring company told me because I didn’t have their insurance they couldn’t assist. Then, when I went into the office to check out yesterday, the male that was at the desk told me he could not check me out. He said I had a $148 balance due to my credit card declining the past two months. I told him I have been paying my bill through the app and there was no balance showing of any kind. He again told me he could not check me out due to the balance due. I asked for a print out of the balance. He again told me he could not check me out. I again asked for a printout showing a balance. He laid a paid bill showing checked out of the counter. I don’t know if he thought his totally unprofessional behavior was funny or he was trying to scam me out of money. Either way, it was a horrible representation of U-Haul.

I also used the space to store a Jeep hardtop so I was able to roll in/out without an incline and roll it in place without fear of tippping over/get out of balance. I know everyone has unique needs, but this was important to me and you have a perfect location. If 1 suggestion, you may want to add a 2nd dumpster as it was always filled up by the end of a weekend. Your access and convenience were solid and an important feature as we move out or swap things in/out of the unit.

I’m not sure what kind of people who are working for those company but communication and listening skills are needed. So I’m glad I don’t have anything else in storage and when I told the young lady I was closing the unit she said she would send me information to me by email that she has closed the unit I didn’t get anything. Worst service I have encountered.

She said I never did and let the bill accumulate for months to where I had to pay over 1,000$ to get it back when I was led to believe that it's was only the late fees so I can get it out..Why would I want to let my bill go to over 1,000$when we was homeless and couldn't pay even 100$. She ripped me off locked me out instantly. We lost items we really cared about because of her actions. I hope tamesha and U-Haul are happy for the couple bucks they made off my unit ..the sentimental value was priceless.

Seems very difficult for the countermen to navigate or understand “the system”. Had made the storage unit reservation a couple days prior (with the manager) to move in to a 12x30 unit. Also had a second reservation for a 12x20, which I had made myself online. Ended up with a single 10x20 as they couldn’t find any available at the time of rental. Very nice crew, just seems the storage part of the system is difficult or different somehow.
