There are many homeless people living in and out of this storage facility. I suspect that some are drug users.

Overall things went well, but my reservation was for a first floor unit and that wasn’t what we received. Given I reserved “the last first floor unit”, it feels an awful like bait and switch. At this time of the year with students though, we’re just happy to have something.

What a horrible process this place has for processing new storage… the awesome person at the front desk was overrun, but extremely knowledgeable and helpful! The gentleman that eventually… An hour and a half later that came to remove the customer ready lock on my storage unit calmly and lightly listen to my spewing venom. How could during probably one of the busiest times of the week,. Could there be so few employees!? I highly doubt it was the employees working that are at fault… I am sure they are overrun! When I call from the storage unit location to get an update on ETA to show up so I can get into my new unit, I get transferred to a central call center that is absolutely horrendous and it’s phone answering system because it has nothing to do with storage units and directs me all over the place. Management: get a life! Work a weekend, remember what it’s like to be a overrun young front line employee, try being a customer during the time when there should be twice as many employees working… You’re too busy, looking at the bottom, line numbers and effing up your company in the process! What a horrible company U-Haul is and therefore must be to work for!

Some feedback on large trucks parked in back of facilities, it makes it hard to maneuver around for moving trucks or trailers. It would be nice to have restrooms and small trash can for our trash too at storage units. Great service and staff.

I completed the online storage move out but was still charged for another month despite me moving out prior, I called and was told the manager was out on leave but they would get back to me, I never received a call back instead received another email for more fees added to my bill, I called again and spoke with someone who said the they would make sure this was handled, she apologized for not getting assistance with my first call. I still have not heard anything back and should not have been billed. I think your convenient online move out process should be relooked at.

The Management moved me out the system for I don't know what reason and the staff were not so welcoming seemed very lazy and not helpful than they come up with they didn't have cards to issue go get in and out of facility and that there card machine was down lucky they physically haven't got knocked out by anyone with there attitudes

We rented a 5' x 5' unit but upon move-in discovered that it was only 3.5' x 5'. I informed at least four employees about the situation and no one cared! Thankfully we were able to cram everything into the smaller unit. The office was closed when we moved our items in so I called the 800 number and was told I had to speak to someone at the local office. So the next day, I spoke to a manager, Jesus, who said there was nothing he could do while our items were in there. Upon checkout I mentioned it to the clerks and they did not care in the least! Said there was nothing he could do about it as that is how U-Haul measured it...as though U-Haul is a separate company. Said he would mention it to his manager but she would say the same thing. Did not care in the least that this will happen to the next person who rents that unit. Never once did anyone apologize for the inconvenience or take any responsibility for the screw up! I paid for a 5 x 5 unit but that is not what I was provided access to.

I couldn't locate my unit so I called the front reception area for assistance and they had me on hold for TWENTY MINUTES, that is not acceptable to me considering I was waiting on the Tucson Arizona heat. I went back to the reception area and the front clerk didn't greet me but he told me he would be with me in a minute but he also has me standing up waiting for him.

They were very helpful and accommodating in my unusual circumstances with my towing trailer rental and were able to find an available storage unit too, and right on time. The storage facility was good but the customer service was horrible. Particularly the close out procedure. Nobody explained the steps required to close it out. I cleaned out the storage locker and left the door closed. Then called to ask if the access key card needed to be returned. I was told by a nice customer service agent to not worry about the closed door but that I needed to return the key card to the rental facility door the street and that he would close out my rental and notify the local store that the door was left closed. After waiting in line for 25 minutes at the local store, I was told I needed to provide a picture of the open cleaned out locker. I asked if I had to come back and wait in line again to show the photo to which he uncompassionately replied “yes”. Had someone explained this procedure in advance, it would have been so much more helpful as it caused me miles of travel and several hours of hassle. The multiple in-store agents I dealt with were very unprofessional and unhelpful. This is coming from someone (me) with over 40 years in sales and customer service. Oh well!

I had several problems while I was using uhaul storage. Frequently there would be technical issues preventing me from accessing my storage unit. I've gone there before and it had been completely unlit. Sometimes there were no carts for moving things and as well sometimes there was just trash everywhere that would stay there for some time (I'm assuming because this location was run by another location that they only came over and checked on it when they had to) I also had a situation where I needed to get into my storage unit and had not paid on time that month (my fault) but had since paid my balance probably a week prior before trying to access my storage unit and the non-pay lock was still on my unit (its fine people forget) so I went to the office to have it removed and the employee working there confirmed i paid and the lock shouldn't be there but didn't know how to remove the lock and called his manager because they weren't there and asked how to remove it and essentially from what I could glean they couldn't find the key and he just told me they wouldn't be able to do it that day and to come back the next day when the manager was in. This would have been less frustrating if it was the first time I wasn't able to access my storage unit and if this wasn't the only time of my week I was able to go out to my storage unit especially because the facility locks and closes at 10pm which I was not aware of until it happened to me one night (thankfully i was finished and locked things up but just forgot something i meant to grab from my unit) because I thought it was a 24 hour facility but I guess that only really applies to the outdoor units. On that note the door to the indoor units can easily be pulled open and was even recommended to me by an employee at one point as a solution to a tech issue they were having that prevented me from accessing my storage unit. As well frequently the main gate was just open because it had broken again. I really can't think of time something hasn't been broken when I went to my storage unit. Once it was the elevator and heck the lights above my storage unit didn't work for the first year or so I had it. At the end of the day it was an overpriced storage unit I needed in a pinch and I'm glad to be rid of. Next time I will just find a higher quality company or fair local business to store with before checking out any of the uhaul locations in town. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Every time I came to my storage unit, the outside doors were not secured. When I asked why the office personal didn't make rounds to just insure the facility was secured, they told me they weren't allowed nor trained to do that. For the price charged by Uhaul, as well as their advertising of sure a secure place, disappointment doesn't even cover my reaction. Needless to say, I have move out of my unit.

Everything was fine until we started unpacking the boxes we stored. Have found several scorpions inside of them so far. Suggest treating the facility. There are no scorpions in Wyoming and the uhaul truck we drove down was clean.

The main issue we initially had was the rep on the phone call from Thursday May 4th. That phone call was for the rental for a 10x10 storage unit and a truck. The rep did NOT place the unit rental in the system at all, so I had to waste more time in store setting that up the next morning. Then, on May 6th, I was having issues badging into the gate of the storage facility, which at that point I called customer service to see if they could assist me. The rep on that call advised me totally WRONG information, and once again, I had to delay my day and waste MORE time going back into the office to retrieve a different card badge. I would say train the reps in the call center to handle people's requests more efficiently. If they do not know exactly what to do or how to proceed assisting a customer- ASK.

I would have rated it higher overall if the truck I rented had not smelled of smoke. Perhaps you need to offer non smoking trucks and smoking trucks. It is a horrible experience for a non smoker to be stuck in an area that smells! Car rentals do not give a paying customer a stinky car!

Difficult figuring out which site in Tucson to access for storage, Information was not given that there were two U-Haul sites on same road in Tucson. The new U-Haul site in Santa Fe needs an orange stripe in drive to U-Haul facility. The open drive also leads to a different business which can mistakenly be taken. Please make it easy for customers. It's a very nice facility otherwise.

I was told I qualified for promotion with my one way trip from Nevada to Arizona for free first month storage. I even called the morning of moving in and they still said yes I would get the promotion. When I arrived they said not valid due to availability. I could have looked elsewhere before going there. I was on a time limit so that was inconvenient for me. Plus I had to wait until another customer was finished moving in they were using all the carts and elevator very inconvenient. And I just didn’t plan on having to pay first month since I was told otherwise. And the person who helped me his answer was well that’s a call center. Basically like if what we’re told by them is not valid or accurate which is so inconvenient and not to mention false advertisement. U-Haul had it advertised in truck even I could’ve gone somewhere else. People in Las Vegas location were very helpful though. This location In Tucson when renting first storage was unprofessional and rude.

Manager never calls me back horrible customer service you have a bunch of kids working there that their favorite word is " I don't know?"..units are always closed crd reader never works. Only good thing about uhaul nowadays is unit price very good prices that's all.

Our secured units card swipe unit was broken and not working most times. But that's okay because most people just left the doors propped open with rocks. And just incase they weren't left open the staff worker told us to just "pull on the middle door hard because the lock is broken on that." How is this a secure unit?? No lights that work outside of that locked area as well. A little off putting coming out of there and then seeing people riding bikes late at night in the unit. Also, office staff are pretty much useless. Don't answer phones. More concerned with playing on their phones or hanging out outside chatting with the other workers while we wait inside for assistance.

Went there to move some items back door was not functioning properly, could not be secured properly. Inside was 90+ degrees. Which is not climate controlled. Moved my stuff out due to the security issues. Went back to return my key card. Storage was 95 degrees. Not great. You are charging for climate control it should be climate controlled. Spoke with someone about the issues. Was met with a shrug. Do not recommend. Today 9/12/2022 got a notice that my data was compromised.

Had a few unfriendly conversations with General Manager...was told wouldn't honor free 30 day rental that Uhaul offers when do one way move. So never received. Truly not happy about misrepresentation. I called May 11th and talked to call center was told zero balance. Then got an email saying I was late after the 12th or 13th of May..I called and tried to explain I was entitled to 30 days free due to rental of truck and car hauler. Was told No won't honor but would take late fees off. I still haven't received credit for 30 days.

I have been to the office three times and they still can't correct my paperwork. I am paying for this unit, it's under my name every time I try to make a payment your system says I have no unit so I have to call customer service hey every time this is ridiculous you guys need to train our staff more. I returned from TX after 27 days to move out and a Mgr had a locked out tag with your padlock on it. They said I was mistaken, my unit was elsewhere. I had to identify what was stored before opening it...before I had access...Although all of my belongings were still there...if I had stayed out of state, it's likely everything would have been auctioned off....for that reason I will not give a referral or deal with this location again.

Easy to rent at a reasonable rate and it was easy to check out of the unit once you are done. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE A PIC ONE YOU HAVE CLEANED OUT YOUR UNIT. OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO DRIVE BACK TO WHERE THE STORAGE UNIT IS THEN TAKE A PIC AND RETURN TO THE RENTAL (HALF BLOCK AWAY). I'm sure it probably said that was required somewhere in all the fine print.

My past experiences were much better than my recent ones the staff is rude and difficult to work with they have no consideration for the customers. Their attitudes are poor. I moved my items out of my storage unit almost a year ago. I handled everything accordingly on my end, notified you guys of me moving my items out. I’ve been getting emails for months offering a settlement so I don’t loose my things but there is no settlement to be had there’s is nothing in the storage unit. As I stated earlier you guys were notified almost a year ago I was moving my items out. I’ve called to talk to someone in regards to this but have gotten nowhere. Of course you guys have emailed me “a final time” before I loose my items which again there’s been nothing in that unit for almost a year. I suggest you guys keep tabs on your records and maybe this wouldn’t be an issue and I wouldn’t have been wrongfully harassed over payments that are not due to you guys. Ever person I spoke to in your company could clearly see in my records I notified you guys in January I was moving everything out. But yet no one could actually assist me in getting this resolved. This was a terrible experience, we had to drive back and forth a couple times because the guy kept assigning us units that weren't available. ALSO!! Our reservation was for a completely different UHAUL facility. The first facility didn't tell us that they don't accept the offer (that we already had a reservation for) until after they took all of my information. Long story short... We wasted a lot of gas money, mileage, and time trying to get this cleared up. At least a whole extra day.

Unbelievably poor service. Had to run back and forth between the main office and storage location (0.2 miles) multiple times. Unable to reach anyone on the phone. Did not activate my gate card, could not enter storage area by moving truck or on foot. Could not get into the storage building. Staff unable to help. Spent over 3 hours waiting for someone else to open the gate.

The previous manager Jason locked me out of my storage for 2 months when I was finally able to get in it I noticed I have several items that were missing. He was a horrible manager and a even worse as a person. The new manager was very helpful even though he could not get me into my storage. Locks had to be changed because of what the previous manager did and that's when I discovered my items were missing. Overall until this experience I have had no problems with U-Haul.

Staff was poor because there is none!! On moving day or entry card stopped working! I called 3 times trying to reach help, total wait time was 1 1/2 hour. Someone said they would call the nearest uhaul and go help. NO HELP CAME! He and movers got in following someone. He had a 45 minute wait getting out!! We payed a mover $135 an hour. So our current storage is with another company!!

Storage was dirty and I had to get a broom to sweep it out myself but they expected it clean when I moved out. Also GM at the Kino sports UHAUL changed the entrance protocol to CARD use only No Pin without notifying me so I was locked out of my storage one weekend because when I went to ask why I couldn’t get in with my pin they were closed. Don’t go here because they’re so unprofessional and don’t bother to try and help u fix the problem

Absolutely terrible experience. Waited in showroom for 15 minutes while two employees worked on a phone order. Neither acknowledged my presence. Reserved unit was unavailable. No explanation was given, no sorry for the inconvenience. Was told there were no unit at all until pressed about the second reservation. Was told they could not do the free month for renting a uhaul truck. Was told my lock was not acceptable for security reasons but they had no locks for sale. The employee, Fernando loss did not seem to care at all. Overall a terrible experience

Bathroom dirty, no toilet paper on 03/12/21. Due to flooring company delaying my move for several weeks by bringing the wrong floor twice I couldn't move out until 03/13/21. I was paid up through 03/12/21. I went to office on 03/12/21 to ask for a little extension and even agreed to pay for another week. I had movers coming the next morning and was out by 11 am on the 13th. The clerk on the 12th was less than sympathetic, borderline rude and passive aggressive at which point I got mad too. I literally had to pay for AN ENTIRE MONTH FOR 11 HOURS OF STORAGE USE!! Ridiculous!!!

My storage container was robbed and all of my belongings were stolen and none of the cameras inside of the building were running so there was nothing that I could do except take a hit and the staff at U-Haul including online and filing a claim or not helpful at all whatsoever. Most likely and inside job so now I have to hire a lawyer and a detective. Super sad I wish they were much more helpful and don't believe anything that they say about security.

I was lied to. I was asked by Uhaul if I was aware that I qualify for 1 month free storage. When I got to the storage unit they said they can't give us the 1 month free storage. They couldn't honor it the gentleman said they are almost at full capacity. I was so upset and HAD to pay for the storage unit $144.29 I'm not from Tuscon as we just moved and I couldn't drive around to find a cheaper storage unit. I needed to get my truck unloaded and returned back. I will never ever rent from Uhaul again. Also when I first reserved the truck I had to drive almost 2 hours to Soda Springs, Idaho to get it. Plus the other trailer I reserved wasn't at the store in Pocatello so I just canceled that trailer. You need to let people know that they will need to possibly travel to get their truck and also about the storage unit..I have been told by several people that they have been offered 1 month free storage unit only to have to pay for it.

There was confusion of my purchases and rentals in Washington but the Manager, Jarrett, at the Kino Sports U-Haul office in Tucson, Washington was very helpful and accommodating. He took care to make sure that everything was current and up to date. I was very happy with my service there.

When I first rented it was a total mess. After completing all the paperwork I was still not in the system so could not access my unit. I called the emergency number and was greeted by a man's voice who instructed me to go back to the office and someone would be able to reset my card. I then returned to the office and was informed that there was nothing they could do and I was no where in their system. I would need to contact the manager in the morning. I was going out of town the following morning so that was not a possibility. I ended up paying for 3 additional nights at the motel I was staying at just to make sure my possessions were safe spending an additional $125.50. I tried unsuccessfully to contact someone to help me but all the time was informed that I needed to contact the manager. Finally this morning I was able to connect with Jarrett and he made everything perfect. I was able to get my items into storage and go about my day. Thank you Jarrett for making this awful situation turn around.

I was very glad to choose this uhaul facility. It was very easy to get my stuff in. The elevator and the little carts were super nice to have which made my move easier into the facility. I liked how well lit it was. I liked how secure everything was. It was very seamless and my movers made it easier too. I thought it was super cool my unit was underground which you wouldn’t think of just looking at it.

From my first experience up until now I have always had such great service. It's been 5 years since then and 10 plus storages unit and countless rental trucks! U-haul is my number one run to place when I am in a time of need. I have never had poor customer service and been treated poorly not once. I highly recommend this company. The kino sports park location is fabulous for being on top of things and dealing with stuff in a very timely manner. You will not be disappointed I promise!

I had to go into the store a few times yesterday. The morning staff was wonderful. They were very helpful. Later when I returned to check out my equipment the staff member was a bit rude and not as helpful. I believe he was new and may have been frustrated but I left feeling as though I was not assisted and had to eventually call the main number for assistance.

I contacted corporate chat support about semi access and was told it would be no problem. This was for an out of state move with 3 storage units. When the movers arrived with a 53 foot trailer, they had to park on the road, rent a shuttle truck, and shuttle 5 more times. I had to pay for that shuttle service which sucks,

When we moved our household goods into the storage facility approximately six weeks ago, there was very OBVIOUSLY a man literally living in a storage unit 3 doors down from unit 448. We had to keep watch on him the entire day of moving in for fear he would steal items during the move not yet IN the unit or OUT of the truck. I told the manager this and he assured me that they knew, were watching the security cameras, and had legal plans in motion to evict him. Well, six weeks later, I am having things moved out and who is there?!? The SAME friggin guy living in the same friggin unit! SIX WEEKS LATER! C'mon - this is an absolutely unacceptable safety and security risk! Good Lord! How are people supposed to feel safe and secure about their household goods with a dude LIVING three units down??? Sheesh.

The lock on my storage unit was changed and I was not contacted of the lock being changed. The lock was cut off and when I was able to access the unit, the unit was empty. I paid rent beginning March 16 and was not offered reimbursement of my payments. Basically, I was paying for an empty storage unit. I had to purchase and replace the items that were stolen. My experience was horrific!

We have used the facility for 4 or 5 summers now to store our children’s furniture for college. We have continually worked with Jimi Ramirez. She is outstanding to say the least. She should teach a course in customer service. She is always helpful and takes extra steps to ensure customer satisfaction.

The place was permanently closed and a hold was still put on my card. I did the app check in and by the time I noticed they were closed it changed my card. The other place charged my card as well so now there is two 45 holds on my bank. It sucks.

Had a 630pm reseration. Called saying i was running late. Arrived at 640pm. You close at 7pm. Employee Outside with the door locked. Said he couldnt help me because your computer system "started acting wierd around closing". Exposed me to 2nd hand smoke. Entire facility reeked of cigarrettes and Lysol. Had to wait outside due to health issues. Call center where i made reservation was rude. Did not answer direct questions. Wanted a credit card on file before she would even tell me what she had available. Did not tell me about a 100 deposit due at pickup or mandatory insurance. Tried to sneak it into paperwork. Still has not refunded deposit. My advertised one way rental for 89 dollars in reality cost $270 plus fuel. No would not recommend uhaul. Rude. Lie to customers. Dont want to work. Go somewhere else.

I returned my rental about an hour before location opened. When I returned the vehicle there was no clear signage as to where to park the truck. I parked it in a spot by the door. When I returned the vehicle it was in the same condition that i recieved it. Now while i am at work i get an email that an unknown person dropped off the vehicle and there is an accident that supposedly took place that left a hole in the roof close to the cab of the truck. There was no hole in the vehicle. There was no accident. Now I'm being charged over $400 for something that did not happen. I have one of the movers that helped me willing to state there was no accident and the truck was in the same condition it was rented to me. I will not be paying for something I did not do. I have used Ubayl for all my moves for over 20 years and have never had an accident nor returned the truck in any other condition than what it was given to me in.unfortunately if thia is not resolved and this charge removed from me I will never use uhaul again.
