The truck's engine wasn't sounding so great, and all 4 side mirrors were entirely non-adjustable, making it an unsafe vehicle on any road with traffic. The online check-in process was a waste of time. I walked around to find my truck just to be told to go inside and wait in line to get the key from a clerk who seemed to have no idea how online check-in works. I never got a recepit for the whole rental. I got a receipt for the gas, but that is is.

Lesta VernetThere was not a drop of gas in the vehicle but I was told it had it had a little less than a quarter tank and I should bring it back with that much in it. Also I'm convinced the mileage in the truck was tampered with. I had to pay for an additional 200+ miles when my destination was only 15 miles away. I would have had to go back and forth 4 or 5 times to accumulate that mileage and I only had the truck for 1 day. Uhaul stole $300 from me and I will make it my business to tell other people not to do business with Uhaul.,

Kareem hortonWe rented a 20ft truck to drive 230 miles. Through rain sleet and snow. After reaching our destination the truck accelerated when applying the brakes on 3 different occasions. We pit in a complaint when returning the vehicle. They took the vehicle out of service. I called the 800 number to voice my complaint. This was a Friday.On Monday morning I called again. another call Monday afternoon. Still waiting for a supervisor to return my call. We are thankful that we weren’t in an accident .

I was helped quickly by a professional, kind, well-informed staff member at the counter, and another employee was already getting the cargo van ready for me. The van itself was very clean, nearly brand new. It's odd to say, but I look forward to renting again from this location when I have transport needs. The price and quality of the rental, and the staff, were absolutely fantastic.

Christine YeeI didn't realize the online process that had to be done. When I got to the location to pick up I had to do a registration. It would have been great to just do it all at home before coming. There were several people who were confused and also did not realize this had to be done. Since there was no office open to sit we were all standing in the cold trying to register on our phones. It was alittle confusing but we go through it

ernesto santelizThe truck was clean but the gas gauge and the odometer were not up to par. The gauge said I put in a 1/4 tank of gas with $25 worth of gas. I barely drove anywhere and then all of a sudden the gauge dropped and it started to sputter. I ran out of gas a a block from the gas station. Then when I put in one gallon from the red gas box, it jumped to a quarter tank, gonna figure. That’s crazy off one gallon. So I know the gauge was messed up. Then I drive no more than 15 miles from my delivery point and upon return the odometer said I drove 45 more miles that day. This made the price I had to pay incredibly high. I will no longer driver older model trucks if I ever rent from here again. On another note the staff were excellent and helpful.

I did call to change storage units before arrival because it wasn't initially clear what exactly it meant when a storage unit was "split-level." Had I rented one of those units, I think my experience would have been different -- thankfully, a ground-level unit was available when I needed it.

Prior to this a few months earlier after paying off my outstanding balance and wishing to remove my items while I was in town they couldn’t find anyone to remove the lock which caused me to have to foot the bill for several more months until my net return to Boston!

Third, when booking on line you refuse to show pictures or details of the storage units. For example. I never knew there were top and bottom storage units which is very dangerous btw! I booed online for a unit to store my sofas and of course (without any knowledge or information) it just so happened that I was given the top unit. How do one manage to store sofas on a top unit locker? To top it off there were no more units available. So o instead had to go to another storage facility which is called Extra Space Storage. I even recommend Uhaul’s staffs to utilize them! Extra space staffs are professional, helpful quick fast and easy! I will NEVER use Uhaul again! EVER

The chubby black boy behind the counter was probably the rudest customer service representative I have ever encountered. He wouldn't look at me while speaking because he was too busy texting and giggling at his phone and when he endeavored to look up from his phone he had a rancid look on his face like my presence there was absolutely repulsive; he wouldn't respond when I asked questions and raised his voice at me for asking a question about payment...I don't know if he is being forced to work this job but that is none of my concern. If you have a job where you are the face of a company but you are incapable of common human decency (not even customer service-level decency), you should quit and do something else that would make you less miserable. He gave me keys to a truck but didn't walk out with me to inspect the truck, and there were not that many people in the store to prevent him from doing so. The following day I went to this same location and another black man and especially the Hispanic lady behind the counter were superb. Even though I had to wait in a queue until it was my turn, when it was my turn, the Hispanic lady treated me like I was the most important customer and I could see that she applied the same level of patience, respect and care with every other customer before me. She needs to be given the job of teaching other uhaul workers what customer service really is, and also given a pay raise.

This location is pretty busy so if it would be ideal for the machine /system to work. so I don't have to wait for someone to unlock the door. I pay every month for the service, the least I need is for it to work. Staff needs customer service training. People come in with an attitude or are very stressed. people are moving so understand they will come me with attitude, not towards you, so the staff doesn't have to give ppl hard time, they need to talk nicely and properly so the customer doesn't feel rush or not understood.

They represented U-Haul professionally and deserve a lot of credit for its success. Online U-Haul leaves a lot to be desired because paying online was a nightmare. The app was just as bad. It would show paid and then we would still receive a bill with a late fee! Horrible! So U-Haul needs to work that out!
