I had to check the vehicle condition, plate and mileage myself in in the pouring rain. This facility has a covered tent that I could have conducted this inspection under. Then instead of giving me a truck parked in a pull out position, I had to back up and maneuver to avoid hitting other trucks. I then discovered that there was a leak and this damaged a few of my collector items that I was hauling. When we told the attendant he didn't seem to care and offered no solution.

Benito HAnthony was the gentleman who assisted me with my rental. He was knowledgeable, helpful and above all, speedy. We were up against the clock and Anthony made sure we got everything we needed in a timely fashion. And he did this all while assisting several other customers. And he was working alone as well. He is the reason we will come back to this location every time we need a U-Haul product or service.
Lee HMy main concern is why do they charge your credit card and Appraisal amount and then when you return the the truck back to the lot they charge your credit card the full amount so you get double billed why doesn't the company just bill you the difference between what you owe and what you already paid so you're not getting double billed just wondering I hope this straightens out any problems and that the only problem I had with the vehicle was the check engine light did come on about halfway through our trip thank you and have a good night

Another employee said sure hold on and after 30 minutes of holding I drove back to the store to find out the first employee did not even record the mileage or that I had even returned the truck. My impression of this U-Haul is to stay away from it
patty hMight be a long shot, but on-board Navigation would be helpful so I don't have to rely on phone GPS. But that's more for U-Haul as a whole. This location was awesome and the staff were super friendly!

In the process of moving from Tennessee to Ohio we were afflicted with some very bad weather, wich caused us to loose about a day and a half at least. I had set up moving arrangements online and I didn't realize that my drop off and, storage were at two different places. Rabbit and Tony put things into motion and reset everything so my drop off would be the same as my storage unit, and because of the terrible weather conditions they were able to fix things so that I didn't have to pay extra. Thank God for Rabbit and Tony. They really made my new husband and me feel at ease, like old family friends. They stated that this is how customer service should be, and that each customer should feel special. They said while they were doing everything they could for us that could be approved, that they would do the same for any customer. If we need UHAUL services for anything we agreed that they will be who we call on, and we would definitely refer them to friends and family. We hope you guys had a happy fourth of July, our was so much better because of you. We thank you and our multi generational blended family thanks you too.God bless.😊😁

Yesterday my 2 pods, from storage and 2 empty ones were to be available by 10 AM. Instead the 2 movers and I showed up by 11 with my furniture in the truck from my apartment full of my furniture. I paid them by the hour and the movers started at 8:30. The people at the desk had to “ call Samantha “ and after a while she came in to work and brought out the 4 pods. She cost me one hour of time for the movers!!! When my pods and 1 storage unit were filled and the move was completed. I went back in to obtain paper or email documentation regarding my 4 pods to be shipped to Jacksonville NC. Neither one of the people at the desk ( who have always been competent and professional ) were able to email or print a copy for me of my $2000 shipment. I asked where their boss was. She went home was the reply. I still have no copy or email of my household goods in Uhaul pods that are to be shipped to me at my new apartment in Jacksonville NC!! This is incompetent and outrageous behavior for any professional company!!

I spent time on the phone for them to have spelled my business name wrong and then I had to spend the same amount of time in person for them to correct what was entered. And I still had to use my personal information instead of the business account I created. I went into the space and a huge rat trap sat in the middle of the floor now I question will my business inventory be safe in this location, Should I be worried about rat dropping and damaged boxes. I'm giving this 3 months instead of 12 months.

I was highly impressed with everything they did to not only fix things for me but also to ease some of the stress I was under. You might have thought about special cases, such as internationals, like myself, especially 60 plus in age, unable to travel to collect belongings, with difficulties getting vaccinated, during the world- wide pandemic. Other than this, the experience was good.

Yesterday, there was only one person behind the counter which doesn't help matters either. Overall, the facility is clean but there is a problem area at the rear north entrance. The downspout discharges right into the area for loading and unloading making things messy on a regular day and treacherous during the winter.

He also made sure we had a lock because there wasn't one in the unit and he got us a swipe card and made sure it worked for us.
