Or additional payment Brent at the Vbi store is wonderful. But I don't know what's going on internally with the payment system. But I need all my money returned back to me.

Tyiesha BMany issues. The online reservations I made did nothing because the system didn’t work when I was checking in when I got there. Had to wait in line and redo all initial rental procedure. While I was waiting a customer and the staff were having a major argument in front of all the customers. Then I was finally given a key after I had to resign and redo payment info. Now I’m 45 minutes late. I’m given a key and not told where vehicle is other than other there. Well it was not over there. It was in a completely different area. I moved the van away from other and went to open back tail gate. The tail gate didn’t open. I called other employee and ask if he could help me. He was about 30 yards away and said he would not walk to me I must bring the van to him. I guess I then got in the van frustrated and drove to him INSTEAD OF HIM WALKING A SHORT DISTANCE TO ME. He then ask what I did to back tail gate and I looked at him with a confused face and said WHAT DO YOU MEAN I JUST GOT TO THE VAN. he gave me weird expression and said to go get another van. I went into office and the same employee who was outside got behind counter and didn’t help me just started helping the next customer in line. Absolutely Unacceptable. I waited another 30mins for them to complete their next customer before finishing me. They even went to say next to someone else and I said guys. I need to go I need a van I paid for. And they laughed and just handed me a key and said it’s out there. A hr and a half later. Unbelievable. Plus I can’t find my original reservation price but the numbers completely changed and I believe I was charged a lot more. I was not able to make my first appointment with the van and that was the original reason I rented it. So the money and the time were a virtual waste. I should have just not rented the van after the issues.
Graham MAwful customer service, wrong u-haul was offered onsite so I had to reschedule for the next day. When I returned the van the next day, I was overcharged for the fuel consumption because the rep got the mileage wrong. Told me this couldn't be resolved until the manager was in office 3-4 days later.

Todd OThe truck had an empty tank. It was only 19miles until empty. This meant having to add gas on the drive to the pick up location making it very difficult to estimate fuel cost. I received a credit but this is all very confusing as a customer.

Paul DMoving is already a challenge, and so is renting a U-Haul for the first time. However, I can say that it was the best renting experience I've had because of Brent McNeil. He is the nicest person ever. Brent was super friendly, efficient, and thorough. He went above and beyond in every aspect! Brent made the renting process very smooth, and communication throughout the whole process was seamless. The truck was on time and clean. Brent made sure the truck and utility dolly were in perfect condition. He is always happy to answer any questions and truly values and cares about the happiness of his customers. I'm giving five stars on this review and would recommend this location because Brent earned it with his skills and capacity. So, if you want the best customer service experience, visit this location and ask for Brent McNeil!

Jasmia CI was disappointed because I frequently rent from UHaul and the truck windshield was so dirty I had glare while driving, was dirty inside. Had a broken lower mirror! Not at all a presentable truck.
diana SNoma helped me with the truck rental. She was pleasant, professional, and friendly. She went above and beyond by helping me attach my car to the trailer. She ensured all connections, cables, chains, tire holds, etc. were all correct. The truck was clean and drove well. I would definitely rent again from this location. Thanks again, Norma!!!

Todd OThe pickup location in Tampa sent me out with a flat and destroyed rear tire. Potentially an extremely dangerous situation and time.consuming to get it repaired. If they'd have done the safety check it would have been obvious as the damage was clearly visible. I will be checking the tires from now on, you can count on that.

My card never worked to get into the building and my code had to change constantly which was frustrating. The elevators were often under maintenance and roaches in my unit. The monthly rate went up to a price that was unaffordable for a small unit and much higher than other storage facilities. Just overall very disappointed with my time here.

It took awhile for them to find my reservation since I booked through corporate Uhaul it was not in their system. They were friendly and helpful the whole time. Since I was there over an hour they graciously gave me my first month free! I wish there was a light in the unit. It is dark. There was also a rodent box in the unit. It makes me worried but what can I do now? I am just hopeful it is not needed and my furniture etc will be safe from pests. This is my first storage experience - so far it has been great!

I have pictures of feces, urine and dead cockroaches all over my stuff it took two weeks of exterminators, cleaning, and disposing of a lot of my things. is there someone to contact to open a claim? this was the worst experience I've ever had. I've never seen anything like this, I found at least 20 dead ones, 10 live ones, and everything I owned had poop and pee on it. How can you allow people to use your facility? there is no way this only happened to me and that you had no knowledge your storage units have this problem. I know its an old building but come on!

The sizes are confusing on the website. I booked a unit for 2 rooms. I got there to find out that it was the size of a bathroom. Not sure wht 2 rooms are that size but okay. I was refunded my full amount without issues. The building is ridiculously old as well and we got stuck in the elevator and the intercom to call for help wasn't working.

Building is tired—lots of termite droppings from active swarming and plenty of dead palmetto bugs when I moved out were hiding in and around my stuff—and they didn’t ride in on my stuff—this property needs better pest control, but it is Florida after all. The elevator was finally repaired after what seemed like 2+ years of issues. Uhaul always pulled my money out on time.

MARIA F | Overall ExperienceThe only reason why I gave the rating I gave is when I moved out 11/20/21 I saw a pair of work boots chewed on some boxes chewed on ( saw that when I got some time to look at it) but when I was done moving out the storage and cleaning it I saw rat droppings some dead roaches. And I know its rate because moving in the storage I had to tell one of the employees that a dolly had rat droppings on it. But I already paid for my storage. I didn't complain (I should have because I paid for the insurance) but I didn't have time to i was moving between shifts at work.

It’s like oxygen countdown once those doors close and I had a bit of a hard time getting my couch inn. But outside of that I have no complaints. The staff was great and helpful.
Siara O | Overall ExperienceUpon arriving, there was a long line because there were only two store employees and one was on lunch. I easily waited 30 minutes before being helped. However, I didn’t mind because I was acknowledged and told I would be helped as soon as possible. Once I was helped, I was able to have the promotion honored and get my unit free for a month since I rented a truck which was super helpful because I just moved from Indiana. Since I was able to save money on storage that allowed me to be able to allocate those funds towards other expenses. Lastly, since there was only one employee working the store he couldn’t show me where my unit was but he told me to come back if I couldn’t find it. I attempted to find my unit but had no idea how to get to it since it was 102, a ground unit. However, I ran into mech 1, I believe, and she took me to my unit. I really appreciated how every employee even those not working in the store were super helpful and to me that’s what made my visit above average!

The issue is your outdated facility, the elevator broke down as we were starting, turning a one hour unload into a 3.5 hour job that cost over $350.00. After a delightful experience picking up the truck and a very nice driving experience to Florida, the unloading spoiled the entire experience.

I tried to call to report it to them, but no answer. FINALLY got a customer service representative who said they would make it right, I took pictures and tried to submit to them but the application said it could not accept them because the system that they use had expired, I spent eighty dollars to fill it up less than three miles away and returned it three quarters full. The representative said he would let them know about it at turn in, but they didn't know anything about it, said I would get an email in about ten mins, never came. It was a 70 mile trip. I feel that I deserve a adjustment of 60 dollars.
