Better communication and appointment was set for 7:00, and then changed to 9:00. Then received a phone call to delay until later due to personal reasons. I still waited for another 2 hours. Need to work on service in a timely manner
Constance WilsonTrailer needs to be taken out of service and repaired. Check-in process is horrible, renter goes through process twice. Online all information is input, then once in the store required to repeat the process. It took 25 minutes to get paperwork done, which is taken out of my 6 hour rental time.

JEFFREY SPANIERI had nothing but problems with my reservation, from it being changed to being canceled to finally corrected 12 hours before I had to leave, and mind you this I made my reservation mo day at 9am and my reservation was for Saturday at 7am. Poor service from the site locations good phone customer service, the people that have these locations don't care about customer they leave you on hold till the line disconnects or just say there is nothing they can do, not because there isn't anything they can do it's because they don't want to do anything and don't care about customers. This whole experience was not worth the time and money I spent.

Daniel FriendThe equipment I reserved was not there. The associate told me because I was late, someone came in and rented what I served, I was not contacted by anyone. This inconvenienced me greatly. After going back and forth with the associate about other options I noticed a trailer that resembled what I needed, she said someone has it reserved and CALLED, that person, something I didn’t get. That customer instead got an upgrade, and a discount ,I got a down grade, and no discount. When asked about a discount got myself,I was told, well you were late, and to call in on Monday about a discount. I will never ever rent again!

Inconvenient but thankfully I have found someone who can sell me an adapter!

Also the lady behind the counter what’s very rude when she asked me for my return papers while she was with a costumer already, knowing well that someone else had already asked me. I feel like she was being rude to her costumer by rudely asking me while she was handling someone already.

Lori ColemanMy contract was not done correctly. Ended up having to drive over 2 hours out of the way to drop the equipment off due to an employees error. No managers were available and other employees acted as if there was nothing they could do. Tried to drop at another location and the lady working there was extremely hostile and rude (14744 Tiger Bend Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70817). We will take our business elsewhere.

If you call between 7am & 8am someone will answer the phone & help you but after that time they place you on hold & never come back to assist you. However with that being said the gentleman who installs the hitches at this location is PHENOMENAL! I am kicking myself for not getting his name to make sure he gets proper recognition. Due to no one coming back to the phone when calling I used the 1-800 number to book my hitch installation appointment. I didn’t realize that no one from the location ever confirmed my appointment with me so I showed up at 7am for my 7:15am appointment & the gentleman informed me that he didn’t do appointments that early because he was the employee present but if I stuck around he’d make sure I got my installation done & stay late if he had to because of other appointments booked due to the clerical errors. This man needs a raise & promotion!

Richard GillyAgent was very friendly and helpful. After she had pulled the truck around, I was about to drive off when a family member that had driven me there asked if the blankets were in the truck. I assumed they were but when checking they were not there. I returned to the office to another agent who just pointed over by the door and indicated I just take them myself. I assumed when they were ordered with the truck they would already be loaded, it would have been very disappointing if I had got to my loading location and not had any blankets.

The lock on the unit was cut through and the unit been gone through. Worst experience ever at the hammond location.

Shady practices and a general lack of transparency cause problems for customers which management refuses to solve and blames the customer. Look at the Google reviews for this place. If the majority of customers are having a problem, it is probably a uhaul problem, not a one off rude person. I'll never use uhaul again and I will never recommend them to a friend. Do better.

So much so I was very uncomfortable with leaving my belongings in the storage unit. Then she over charged me almost 100.00 dollars I had to call the 1800 number so I could get my money back. The paperwork on the uhaul truck I rented when I rented the unit didn't even match the truck I was given. The woman who I assume was the manager that day 09/30/2022 at around 11:00am when I went in the office to ask what unit number my unit was not only did she not give me the whole number which was building c unit numbers 611-612 she just told be 611 her and her staff actually watched me and my boyfriend and our friend drive around and walk around the whole storage facility for almost 2 hours looking for my unit that was come to find out inside of building c which I was never told after multiple trips inside the office. She and one of her staff actually laughed at us as they just watched us. Some of my belongings I found out when I moved out of the unit where damaged and broken because it took us so long to find the unit without any help from staff we where running out of time alloted for the uhaul truck that we rented a was told couldn't be extended so we couldn't pack our belongings in the unit as they should have been neatly and carefully because doing so we would have had to pay for another day on the uhaul truck. Which the woman tried to do anyway when she overcharged me for the truck anyway. And last but not least after moving out of my unit on 10/29/2022 I was charged 50.00 dollars for a cleaning fee when I swept out the unit myself when we finished emptying the unit which I have been unable to get refunded back to me. I will never rent from this uhaul again. It was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. And I will not be recommending this uhaul place to anyone. Thank you for your time and be blessed.
