The only complaint is the cost as the mileage fee is very high. With gas a truck rental for a day was $240!

The 9' cargo van was available as promised. Basically a brand new van, clean and gassed up ready to go. I chose to check in on my arrival for pick-up and customer service was excellent! Also, the drop-off and return process was equally as seamless. I'd highly recommend U-Haul of Grasonville, MD.

The mobile pick up and drop off was not as convenient as suggested. It’s a lengthy process that needs to work more efficiently. Uploading pictures takes a long time and many attempts.

The sign says wait with your vehicle but no one came . I went to find the only person there and she was unpacking boxes in the office. Also, the price is so misleading. I know it says $19.95 per day around town, but it cost me over $1000 a day!!!!!! It’s such a scam

Well maintained yes. I liked the newer style rear door rather than the roll up door. The trailer had mud in it from the last user but it wasn’t too hard to clean off.

Truck was reserved for pick-up at Centreville Self Storage. Arrived there and was told the truck had been dropped at Grasonville. I was told that I would have to pick up the truck there, but I could drop it at Centreville (making it a one-way rental). If I had chosen that option, I would have been stranded in Centreville with no transportation back to pick up my car in Grasonville. Grasonville is 15 miles from Centreville. Because I had to drive to Grasonville, and then back again to drop the truck, and then back again, I added about 50 miles plus two hours of time. The U-Haul rep on the phone gave no other option nor apology nor compensation. The truck itself reeked of smoke.

Rudest person I've come in contact with all year. Yelling over me as I asked questions about the invoice for clarity....literally could not speak or ask questions as she continued to yell. I finally just asked to pay and was yelled at again as it took 3 tries for the machine to read my card that did not decline but wasn't reading it seems. When I finally interrupted her from berating me...she says oh I guess I just won't speak and walked away. No instructions given. Awful customer service. No one should be spoken to that way.

Place a sign with an arrow at the side door of the building, where the window wash is located, that indicates that the office is located at the front of the building, facing Rt50. Other than that, easily a 5 star rental option.

Truck was clean but, when taking foot off the gas for a cruising deceleration, the auto transmission downshifted resulting in a high RPM revving of the engine. This likely had a negative influence on gas mileage. Also, steering seemed to be out of alignment.

I ALMOST dropped the key in the box before I did the self check-in process with all the photos. You might want to make the self-check-in option more obvious! Like a big sign at the key drop box.

Made reservation weeks ahead for a 20 for truck then got a call late Thursday for a Saturday morning rental that they did not have the 20' truck. No good solution so I had to rent a 15' truck and make extra trips. Very poor system.

I have used this facility for more than 10 years and have never once had a complaint. It is humidity and temperature controlled, which was my main reason for choosing this facility in the first place; there was never once a problem - The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help me with anything I needed. We were here for many years. This is one of the best run facilities (not just storage facilities) that I've encountered. Always clean, helpful, safe, and Bobbie Sue is extremely responsive. Restroom facilities were always available and clean. I appreciated that there's plenty of carts. I liked that you had an 'excess' area for unwanted, but still usable items - very ecological-minded.

I can't tell you how impressed I was with this location and Roberta. She provided superior customer service and was always very pleasant and helpful whenever I needed her. I stored with this location for more than 3 years. I knew it was the place that I wanted my "stuff" to be stored in due to the security, climate control, and most importantly the cleanliness and its first impression Roberta made with me. On top of that the facility maintained that same beautiful "just cleaned" look throughout the entire time I rented my unit. Upon emptying out all of my "stuff", everything was in the exact same condition as it was when I put it in there more than 3 years prior. Anyone thinking about renting here should have great peace of mind that their belongings will be well protected!

I found the manager to be not very helpful or friendly. It was like she couldn't be bothered and I was an inconvenience to her. The rest of the employees were very nice and helpful. I checked out because my rates changed twice in a year. When I left they didn't give me a prorated rate for the partial month. I think this is bad business practice - especially during these trying times.
