The manager was prejudice and very rude to the point I was falsely put on the do not rent due to that fact ... Tried calling to file complaint and get issue resolved but I keep getting hunged up on and given the run around .

Norm and Colleen always take good care of my needs. I moved from Calf to New York, and from the time I first spoke with Norm until I arrived, he had a unit available for me and equipment whenever I needed it. They are friendly and efficient.
Tamela SI had no issues with the equipment. The only concern I had was that I was not informed I was supposed to get a text message at pickup to confirm the fuel & mileage reading for when I dropped off to compare. I didn’t receive the text and was not told about it. To be fair this location was busy and the phones rang a lot, I felt they did a great job regardless. The employee was apologetic. I would still use this location for future moving needs.

Thomas C | Overall ExperienceI was told the fuel tank was full and needed to be returned full or be faced with an added fee. The tank wasn't full on pickup and I documented that. Upon returning the vehicle I filled the tank as to not incur that additional charge but I wasn't credited with the extra fuel I added. I drove 24 miles (probably around 2 gallons) but added over 6 gallons before returning. That's 4 extra gallons at $3.55/gal. You should have the tanks full for pick-up so the customer doesn't have to guess how much to add before drop-off.

KEVIN CThe employee was extremely helpful, courteous and thoroughly explained the process, during check in and check out. She apologized for the tow/haul with issue (see below) The rental truck on the other hand, was totally different. 1- the box leaked excessively, soaking some contents as the water ran down the walls, dripped thru theroof and came thru the door seal. 2-The tow/haul switch was stuck in tow position, causing an increased use in gas as the trip was made in a lower gear. 3-Stearing was sloppy and would make a physical noise when turning at a slow speed. I suspect either a ball joint or tie rod issue. 4- Wipers are ineffective in snow. 5- The back-up lights, if there even any installed, are worthless! Most importantly is that the App is useless! It has a variety of issues, to numerous to list. The revision/quality control compatability system does not work! These same issues have existed for years and every time I've rented a vehicle. I should not have to call customer service every time for help, only to be told "your working on it" and to use the web site. If there was a competitor in the area, I would be using them! This may be the last time I use Uhaul.

Jennifer MI rented a 10' moving van. My only complaint is cab noise. At highway speed the noise was approaching the 70dB range.
Gary PCustomers should be advised to respond to the text message BEFORE leaving the premises. I discovered the confirmation text message two hours away and it no longer worked. I had to call U-Haul separately to confirm the license plate and trailer condition. Similarly, when returning the trailer off-hours, the customer should be advised to confirm the return on-premises so that the online return process WORKS. I had to text the U-Haul reps that the trailer was returned with pictures. I applaud U-Haul for having online procedures, but the customer needs to know their restrictions to make them effective.

Seems like a business thats going underwater and the customers feel it, like kmart or blockbuster on their last leg vibes. Never again, and ill be telling people to rent storage local, never uhaul. And the policy that you have to pay in full or not at all is ridiculous. I came in once to make a partial payment to catch up and I was denied, like I owed money to a las vegas loan shark or something, payment in full or leave. What a joke

I was asked to sweep the unit and was directed to where I could get a broom. After going back to my unit, sweeping and returning to office, I advised that there was no trash cans anywhere near my unit. I was told that I could have taken a dustpan as well as broom, but that would not be helpful without someplace to empty it. I suggested that if expectations are for unit to be cleaned, more convenient tools should be provided. Note, my unit is an interior one and while outdoor units could be just swept out and never be noticed, that’s not true for interior ones. This suggestion was not taken in a.receptive manner.

I called Norm who said he would take it up with Albany and return call. No call. I have contacted moving made easy which will provide evidence of February 25th move out. American Express will deal with this ultimately. Never again uhaul.
