I walked back to the customer service center, told the clerk, truck was blocked in, and could they move the other truck so I can leave. The clerk can't find the keys to the other truck. The clerk assigned me other truck that was at end of the roll of parked trucks so I could leave. That place was so unorganized.

Jennifer NiedosikI set up an online reservation to have to still go in the location and be treated so poorly because they didn't have a Self Check services. I waited in line and was late picking up my rental that cause me to be late with my moving on January 29th. The elder clerk was utterly rude and I hope not to come to his location in Indianapolis again. Why would you have customers set up online a self checkout to still have to come in and do the process all over again. A Humiliating experience ever.
Yolanda LamarThe representative went above and beyond to assist me with my rental. I initially reserved from the Pendleton Pike & Shadeland location but they didn't have a truck available. So a rep found a truck at this location, extended my reservation and was very pleasant thru the whole experience. This came after searching 1.5 hrs for a truck the night before at that same location smh! My only thing was I didn't see a key return box (which was no big deal), so I put the key back in the lockbox. Thank you for GREAT customer service!

Nykkitra FlemingThe truck I was given should not have been on the road. It was faulty and dangerous in several ways, beginning with starting the engine. The ignition switch was difficult to turn. Once started, the gear selector was so inaccurate it had to be reset continuously so that it was in D not N. There was a loud whining from either transmission or engine, and at times the engine/transmission struggled to shift to the next gear, running in a lower gear. If there was a cause for excess fuel consumption, this was it. The odometer light was dim and hard to read. I could not adjust the door mirrors for my vision, so guesswork often to know where a following vehicle was. The front end suspension was completely shot, I'd say, as every bump, road hole or turning of the steering wheel could cause wiggle and bounce. The position of the steering wheel in straight line driving was about 30 degrees off. The the overhead cargo gate would not latch sometimes. When I stopped to refuel, I discovered that the gate had rolled up, the cargo exposed, and the pull-out ramp had extended more than half way. I attempted to call Uhaul during the trip to the destination (check your records) but was handed off to another party about 3 times, with no contact with a live voice. Then, when I returned to the Uhaul dealer the next day, having returned after closing, according to the employee at 6:55, the employee who reviewed the rental could not explain why I was not emailed the documents. WHY? BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO COMPLETED THE CONTRACT ENTERED MY EMAIL ADDRESS AS rldefour@alumni.iu.edu, instead of rldufour@alumni.iu.edu. Twice I told her the correct spelling and she botched. Only then were the documents sent. The total cost of the rental charges of $133 should be refunded, and whoever cleared the truck as roadworthy should be terminated. Richard L Dufour

JACKIE MONTANTESI didn't have a very good experience. I had to wait at least 45 minutes. The person in charge couldn't get her mechanical device to work to check me in. It seems like none of them were working then I had to find my own truck in the parking lot. Very upsetting. Handed me the key and told me it's out there in the parking lot. Look up the numbers you know how many trucks were out there? Several!! obviously no help. I walk back in to see if I could get somebody to help me to find my vehicle. No help around so I walked back out and finally found it 😡. No service at all. I thought they would bring my vehicle up to me and make sure I understood everything about it but I guess theirs no service anymore very upset

Keep up the great work folks! ps. This is random but I collect hats can I PLEASE have a uhaul bucket hat?! Haha All jokes aside, I will always recommend this location.
William BryantI tried to do the mobile pick-up. I followed all of the steps; I never received a call from the U-Haul Representative to complete the pick-up. In turn, I had to go in the store to complete the pick-up. The return was unnecessarily lengthy. There were several team members that walked past me during the return and did not assist me after waiting at least 10 minutes. I, In turn, completed a mobile return and while attempting to return the keys; I was approached by a man that did not work there to tell me that I couldn’t return the keys in the drop box. He was actually visiting someone that worked there. This location is poorly managed and unprofessional. I have visited this location on two other occasions with unsatisfactory outcomes, this will be my last.

William RamseyMake sure the gas is put back on 1/2 tank . The cargo van I received was not on 1/2 tank . I didn’t use much gas. I put gas back in that I used , so put it back to where it was when I received it , I got charged for it I assume and I returned van well before my expected time.

Problems getting site to upload pics of damaged tailgate. People were great but to hour and a half after checkout to get on way. Final equipment was good just took awhile to get sorted out People were very nice though.

Perry TuckerMy initial reservation was messed up. I was supposed to pick up at a location on the south side of the city. I had to call for assistance and was told I would need to drive to the east side of the city (E Wash location). Once I got there, as always, the staff at E. Washington is always on point. They are there to help and it shows. Vehicle Issues: Right rear tire light was on for having not enough pressure. Oil change due light was also on. Side door was closed but the light was on also. Vehicle drove and handled great though. And was perfect for what I needed.

I had to locate alternate company storage immediately to empty the truck very disappointed.

I have called this facility many many times and they route the calls to the national call center. They then call me that Location personnel will call me back. It never happened. They finally call back after the auto pay was cancelled for a storage that I moved out from....which I was calling them about for two weeks. There's more to the story .....Surprisingly.. I received a call whitin a day or two because they accidentally turned off the auto pay from My second storage that I still have over there...asking me for my credit card!...very incompetent ! Except for one male personnel, everyone else is rude.

I was told that the manager was going to return my call. Even regional promised that I was going to be called. I left two messages with manager...no return call. They finally called me because I removed the automatic payment. They tagged my storage ready to be rented on March 14 before I even got a chance to clean and closed it myself. They won't prorated my rent when they chose to tag my unit. They only call when they are not getting paid. They are rude as well.

There was no such thing so I had to go hunting for a lock around town. Not convenient for me, nor was it honest in the communication about the unit. That is the only reason I would not recommend this place to a friend.

They’ll eventually get it off (the website)“ I stated that was why we had picked u-haul but he didn’t seem to care.

I was told they have dumpsters but not for you to use & was threatened with $150.00 disposal charge. The manager had no sympathy & was very hateful. The climate control and cleanliness of all areas (including restrooms) is outstanding. The area set aside to leave/pickup unwanted items is an added bonus. In addition to the helpful staff, what I probably liked most was the ability to pull my vehicle inside, out of the weather, to load/unload. I rented a 26ft. truck and upon return the gentleman was not friendly because we arrived 15 minutes prior to close. He made sure I knew he was not happy to stay a few minutes over. The next morning I met Pam the GM and she was gracious, pleasant and very very knowledgeable of her store and operations She deserves a raise and someone to listen how to make things better. good job Pam

Called the “after hours” number. No response. Called office twice today - no one answers. Corporate finally answered and said they’d have my local facility contact me. Still nothing. May just cancel and go somewhere else. This is NOT how you do customer service.
