The only thing that would’ve made my first visit easier was understanding that one gate is for entry and one gate is for exiting. I also drove up to the exit gate to leave and didn’t realize that the keypad was 75 feet behind me. It wasn’t a big deal And was easily rectified, but if there was clearer signage, It would have been less confusing. I was there on a Sunday when there was no one around, so it really wasn’t a problem. Thank you very much I’m a big Uhaul fan.

Having been experience financial hardship the last months in 2023 and not being able to make my rental fees I was scheduled to have my unit and belongings sent to auction however the staff and management provided me with the opportunity to retrieve my belongings and were extremely help kind understanding and accommodating and I was able to get all my belongings and I am grateful for all the assistance in this process.

The manager Julie at the Pasadena ca. office is amazing and was just so helpful with all my needs there. She is just extremely wonderful with customer care service. She helped me be able to keep and retrieve all my belongings so it wouldn’t get auctioned.

Over the many years that she was caring for my property I was always well respected and treated like family which I truly appreciated. Very clean, which is the main thing for me. Easy to find carts to move your stuff. Everything works, e.g. lights, elevators. There are staff people around, which is also very important to me. Lots of people use U-haul, so I don’t feel spooked by lonely areas. The accounting seems accurate. Happy with it and not thinking of looking anywhere else.

The attendant at the location was very nice and professional. She had a lot of customers just as we came but she handled everyone very well. She walked us to the unit answered our questions. We had a truck full of things and unloading it with the use of dollys free to use was very convenient

I looked and had no luck with other facilities and this just fell into my lap. I'm so impressed with the knowledge of the staff staff and the cleanliness building. Easy access in all areas with key card - no codes to punch in. Over all I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stash their stuff.

I don’t like the policy that says you paid for the month, but you moved out mid-month and there are no per dorm calculations. I just paid 08/23 and moved out 08/29. I don’t see how you can justify billing for an entire month simply based on policy and paperwork. Everything else was great, but this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Hoping someone will look into doing something about this. I would like my 6 days of usage to be taken out of a refund of my last month payment. This would be the better way to conduct business. The more honorable way!

James did a amazing accessing my needs for storage and moving (locally and out of state) I’m telling everyone I know to come to this location for their uhaul and storage needs. I’m not usually impressed with customer service but today exceeded my expectations James was very knowledgeable and professional above all patient which is hard to come by these days.

This storage facility is large, clean, safe, attractive, and well maintained. My household belongings were remarkably clean and in good condition after being stored for years there. The units that are farthest from an outside surface most closely simulate temperatures in a comfortable home. The location is convenient to Pasadena and nearby towns. I'd drive there to store things rather than taking the closest option because of the condition of the storage units and because of the management. Julie, the longtime general manager of the East Pasadena UHaul storage facility is the consummate professional. She is at the same time professional, responsive, kind, creative, communicative, and super smart. I cannot tell you how helpful and resourceful she is. Julie knows how to run a business that not only makes the UHaul corporation look like the very best available but also makes her customers feel cared about as unique individuals. During the time we used the facility, Julie went beyond the call of duty to assist us in storage-related issues when she didn't have to bother. I am going to miss that in the facility I moved to after I moved out of LA County. You can't lose with UHaul East Pasadena with Julie in charge.

The first thing I happy about this location is the personnel, their customer service skills are excellent Andy at the beginning he gave me all the information I needed to know, and yesterday moving out the same experience, I forgot the lady's name she was awesome, I will recommend this location a 100%. Every area in this location are super clean, posted signs are great and the carts were a mega plus for me.

The rate was raised twice, and although I paid in advance each month, when we cleared the space the rate was not prorated and I did not receive a refund for the 20 days left in the month. I call that poor customer service.

Great customer service. Everything is clean, however, my mattress suffered damage from a leak in my unit. It was stored in a storage unit for about a year and wasn’t sure when it occurred. Something employees have no control over. That is why my experience wasn’t the best.

The storage units have no light/outlets inside, and building itself seems to have been built extremely cheaply/poorly - plywood floors, unnecessary (and steep) ramps in the middle of hallways, terrible parking availability/vehicle access... Julie is a great manager but this property is absolute garbage and should be demolished. Would not recommend this property to anyone, and based on this property/experience, i would have serious hesitation about ever renting from U-Haul again.

Julie and a gentleman worker (please forgive, I can’t recall his name he’s African American with dreadlocks) were absolutely amazing at responding and being helpful with my transition during this time when our whole country is in a state of emergency. Their professionalism was exemplary.

The Uhaul computer system was down. It took the meaningfully well helping attendant over 15 minutes to process a credit card payment that should have take 30 seconds. Uhaul needs to come down on their IT people to stop this from happening. Once again the attendant was great.

Luke was inattentive to my needs . More concerned to chit chat with others than addressing my concerns. When I discovered that the cabinets that I needed to move out from my unit # 22 were way to heavy for me to safely handle, I asked for a refund as I was only using the refrigerator dolly for 20 minutes. The blankets had not been used at all. My request for a refund was refused despite the fact that I hadn't used the dolly or the blankets. Not right. Michael Kiralla

Luqmon should be a brand ambassador. He was the only helpful and competent interaction I had. His superior,or at least he spoke to Luqmon as such, should be retrained on how to interact with coworkers. He was condescending in front of me so there is no telling how he behaves when customers are not around.

The manager Tim was extremly helpful, we feel he went above and beyond to help us. As my Husband is 70 years old and does not get around very well Tim offered us his own adapter for the lights and trusted us to mail it back to him then he climbed under our truck to hook up the lights for the trailer and found us a new fuse when ours blew out. I am very upset with Uhaul services I live 1 mile from Uhaul in Altadena reserved a Van had my confirmation arrived Sunday at 9:00 a.m saw 2 vans on the Lot one with a Sign in the Window one without I was told that I had to go to another location on 3559 E Colorado Blvd Pasadena I told Tim that why did Ihave to go so far since it's 2 vans on the lot he claimed they were rented out and had to go to this location instead he later said they were busy that Saturday and didn't look at there Computers to reserve my Van I arrived to this Pasadena Location only to find and Employee Shanna on a cell phone and fixing her car with the hood up she told me I will be in there in a second she gave me a Van that was infested with Dog hair and smelled of Dog I told her it's not clean she said Sorry we don't wash cars here I told her I am a Customer and why should I have a filthy Van to drive in she later said she will clean it she smeared the windows and sprayed something on the floor of the van that made the dog scent worse and she had the nerve while helping me decided to tell me to wait while she helped another Customer I always felt that first come first serve. this treatment is not tolerated and I feel I should get a refund when I asked this employee that I want to speak to the Manager she claimed he's not here when I asked her what is his name she told me Uhaul Policy is not to give out that information I have used Uhaul for years and never have I encountered such Ignorant employees I am going to write a letter to corporate head quarters because they treat Customers like Crap.

I congratulate your company for having the best ideal couple and personnel in this particular branch.These three employees of yours are the very best of all I have dealt with in this area. Their Personalities and professionalism are outstanding ! Their humble and cordial approach with people and new clients are so welcoming . This location certainly has better customer service than the other location I went to before. The guy asked about how many miles I would drive before taking the van and I told him. The other location which was on 116 S Western Ave Los Angeles, CA cheated me by charging me for more miles than I actually drove. I only drove 3 miles and they charged me for 8 miles. They did this because they didn't like that I didn't drive many miles which would make them less profit.

Allow after-hours drop-off of truck. Pasadena doesn't allow on-street parking for trucks so finding a suitable place to leave the truck for a night can be troublesome.
