I selected the 24/7 option to pick up my truck at 6AM because my moving helpers wanted to get started at 630AM. When I got to the Uhual store @ 6AM, the app would not recognize that I was onsite even though my location was turned on. The owner (Daniel Butterfield) arrived at 630. In a panic, I begged for help. My movers had been paid and booked foar a total of 3 hours that started at 630. The clock was ticking. Not only was the owner rude (making it a point to tell me he doesnt open til 7AM), but he was also unbothered that the app was not working. He insisted my location wasnt turned on. I showed him it was and also showed him the app was not recognizing I was onsite. He could care less. He finally manually checked me out a truck but I lost one hour with my movers due to the wait time. I was not reimbursed. I was not accomodating at all. The owner could care less. DO NOT rent from this location. You are guaranteed a MESSY move that will cost you money! Go to a location where the owner will be kind, courteous, and helpful when Uhual App falls. After it would get hot it would not climb a hill it would backfire and spit and sputter we were very unhappy with the truck that we received and then on top of that we actually were charged way more than what we were told we were be charged
Darcy SAgain another great experience. We were a little short with gas so he allowed us to go and fill it up and bring it back so we were right on the money just went out of his way. Really appreciate the kind and amazing customer service with Uhaul .THANK YOU THANK YOU

Marty CWeb site helped, but more details and closer shots would have made directions more clear with ratchet use. Also, one instruction said to leave car in park in dolly. It didn’t say that was only while loading. Could have really damaged my vehicle if I had driven down the highway that way!

Brianne BNothing, I was very impressed with the way the drop off was set up. The attendant was very thorough and asked if there were any problems and I told him that the truck was great to drive and the only thing that I saw was a backup light was not working and he changed it right away.
Terry FThe service at this facility was very good. However, U-Haul should do a better job of describing the equipment. The trailer I rented was chosen for its wide 74"deck, yet the rear gate and entrance was much smaller at 54". It doesn't do much good to have a 74" deck if you can only load 54" on the ramp. Other than that, the rental was fine.

Barre PI put down yes for the equipment but when driving the truck it would randomly get stuck in 4th gear and rev loud until I hit the gas again, also I was charged $200 for “missing/damaged equipment.” When in reality I did not damage anything and did not lose equipment. I was informed I was charged because the appliance dolly I rented was not returned when in reality it was placed in the back of the truck and also locked in the truck once I dropped off the truck. I attempted to get it figure out because I have multiple people who could attest that the dolly was put in the back of the truck but was told I would need to call back on Monday to speak with the GM. Also while I was there I pointed out that one of the U-Haul associates that was in the store was the person who brought me the truck and the dolly, he then tried to say that I must have forgotten it at my home or it was stolen from the truck because it wasn’t locked…which again I explained to him that it was indeed locked when I left but still he tried placing the blame on me.
Joshua PMr. Butterfield was working alone so he had to divide time between waiting on customers and installing my hitch. Two employees would be nice at least during busy times.

Richard KMy check-in and equipment pickup were excellent. However, I received call the next morning asking why I haven't returned the truck because it was scheduled to be returned at 8am. I explained it was scheduled until 8pm. The person on the phone continued to tell me its due at 8am until I passed the phone to my husband. Afterwards, the U-Haul person said don't worry about they will work it out. He eventually put a pending charge on my card for an extra day! This began an all day back and forth with corporate and the manager Daniel, whom told me that he person that called was not rude and combative because he was sitting next to him. The entire ordeal was due to the person that check me in simply made a typo and the misunderstanding, on your part, could have been resolved with a simple phone call to the other employee. This explanation does not fully reflect the problem resolution and customer service failure.

It is the East Ridge section of Chattanooga. The two men were on duty 01/14/24 around 2:30 p.m. or alittle later. They were great and gad me on the road in no time. Mrs. Gilbert.

The facility is clean, though the storage unit looked pretty worse for the wear and kind of made me worry about leaving my things there. No lights in the units, hole in the wall between my unit and another unit, etc

Ryan H | First ImpressionsI wish you guys could prorate the rent amount. I was upset that I had to pay my rent amount for the storage unit for one day. I moved out one day after my due date. Due every 29th. I couldn't move out until Sunday the 30th because of our work schedule. Paying the prorated amount would have been better than paying for a rental that I wouldn't need. Please address this issue. By the way the move out date is wrong on this email.
