Was told I couldn't drop off trailer at location because they were full which they obviously were not. Was told to find another location and didn't offer to help. I had to find one myself. By this time it was after hours and a lot of places were closed so i ended up calling uhaul.

Having the online check-in really helped speed up the process. debris was left in the bed of the trailer. The trailer was right out front of the office and hookup was quick and easy. James did a great job. However once I got home and looked closer of the trailer bed it was full of debris from previous usage. I had to power wash it to prevent it contaminating my cargo I was loading that include household items. Other than that everything went well of the equipment's performance and reliability.

When I showed up, online check-in was unavailable, and the desk agent was not friendly. The dolly I needed for my move was unavailable at this location, and the agent said they had no dollies available. He was not friendly and asked if I still wanted the truck. I, of course, needed the truck, so I said yes. I then had to incur the extra miles (which were charged despite having "extra miles added due to picking up farther than my original location." I had to go to Home Depot and buy a dolly to complete my move and was unhappy with the experience.

I visited this location 2 days before to verify this and was told that o came with it by a different gentlemen. I was renting this truck for my church as we often do and have never had to pay wat was explained an additional 30$ for a hitch. So this whole back n forth was very frustrating. And still have no empathy or understanding of wat truly is supposed to be.

When we arrived there were no keys for the truck and the manager was unable to resolve this for us (it was basically a gas station). I have used the location of my original reservation many times and was always happy with them. I called and the lady running the show and she saved our day! Although strapped for vehicles she managed to work out a smaller truck (which ended up fine) for the time frame we needed, even though she was handling phone calls at the same time. She is a true multi tasker! She had the supplies we needed and got us on our way to a successful move. I HIGHLY recommend this location.
ROBERT MINIALOFFI rented a truck from another location and I to pick up a dolly from this location. This location did not report that the dolly was returned. That was 09/2022. It is now 01/2024 and I received a bill for over $5k for a dolly that was returned.

Breaks on the truck were stiff and very jumpy while driving the truck around 40-60 miles per hour. I would suggest to get the truck maintenance.

DALE WALLACENever have I experienced worse customer service. After discovering that our account was set up incorrectly by the former manager, Wykethia Johnson made fixing the problem as difficult as possible. We tried to use the new access card the next day and they didnt work. Once again Wykethia was rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. We stored eight six foot Christmas wreath and found that rats had eaten through the wires for five of them. There is no doubt about the rodent problem as there was also a dead rat in the unit. We decided to close the account as the manager offered no apology or solution. When told that she would be losing a customer Wykethia responded that she didn't give a f$%^ and that we could go somewhere else. We did and we suggest that you do also.

Both my zgallerie buffets are ruined (well over $1,000.00 each with delivery and taxes) and I can’t afford to replace it. Joshua Buzi is supposed to settle my claim but has not even though I filed months ago. The new manager on-site (replaced Kevin in Desoto) took pictures of my storage unit and promised she sent to claims handler Joshua Buzi but I do not have a settlement check. This experience has been so stressful and prolonged. Do NOT rent unit #163 in Desoto. I had to bomb, defog, and set own rat traps. It’s been a nightmare.

Had a hard time getting my U-haul and auto transport from Minnesota Uhaul . Inside the truck was dirty trash everywhere and big price jump which was almost doubled from my last rental in February. Once I walked into DeSoto location Wykethia was helping 3 different customers at the same time and with a co- working needing her assistances at the same time . The line was out the door as I walked in she greeted me and said she would be with me as soon as she could . My first thought was where is her help at . You talk about multiple tasking she took it to another level. Once she got to me after all the customers we’re watching her amazing ability to multitask at that high level and answer the phone at the same time. Wykethia Answered all my questions and informed me of the company’s policies and pricing and fees . Wykethia could sense I was concerned at the big price difference. She offed me a storage and stated they have storages as well which I did not know and could definitely use and she eased my concerns I had about the prices difference. Wykethia went above and beyond in efforts to ensure I left happy, For that reason and that reason alone I will use Uhaul again. If not for Wykethia great customer service I do not think I would have returned to Uhaul again . I think as consumers we are ready to complain about bad things but not ever great customer service.
