The truck evidently has not been fully refilled or was an incredible gas guzzler. I spent $23 in gas to refill it for less than 20 miles.

It was a Sunday morning and had done a rental online so everything went well. There was one person in front of me but was able to get in and out. The young lady that help was wonderful hand pulled the trailer out to by truck and hooked it up and made sure lights worked and I was on my way.

Larry FoxWhen I picked up my car, no installation issues were mentioned. When I wanted to drive off I noticed all safety features of the car were disabled, likely due to the wiring process. When I inspected further, I noticed that both back lights and the back bumper were severely damaged. Upon asking the technician, he said sorry and walked off. I had to insist on him doing something about the problems. He talked to his manager and gave me a pamphlet, stating that I should call the insurance. I went to speak to the manager and she simply stated this happen "with every other car". My car is a 6 month old $50k, Jeep Grand Cherokee. I asked her why she did not tell me the risk if this happens so often, she just shrugged and told me to call the insurance. The initial quote from a body shop is $3,500 to fix the issues. I can hardly believe that this happened.

Joshua ShipleyI spent half an hour trying to connect with the Provo location and kept getting the run around. The lady who did the paperwork was excellent and professional. The large lady who was there when I returned was rude, and unprofessional. What a pill. Provo is way under staffed. I decided to go there and talk to someone, the guy after me had the same complaint. Couldn't get through to them on the phone. One person in front of me and it still took 20 minutes to get help. Only one man serving people. The vehicle was okay but the engine and transmission are right off the Flintstones. Rough and noisy. But it ran fine.
mike hartleyI rented a small car dolly. The ratchet on the passenger side was jammed, so I could not move the strap to be centered over the tire. I hit it repeatedly with a pipe wrench and could not get it to move. That ratchet was also Chuck full of dirt, and it was very difficult to use the ratchet to pull out the straps and to tighten the ratchet. I also made it clear when i was renting the dolly that I needed to do an after-hours return. I downloaded the app, and I couldn't find a link anywhere to do an after-hours return. This caused enormous time conflicts for me the next day.

Jason GommThe process was quick, which was nice. However, there was a "clerical error" and the wiring harness was not in stock, so I only have half of the installation completed. Also, when I inspected the hitch, it seems there was a washer missing and another nut not bolted all the way down. Some of those may have been left because the wiring wasn't available, but it sure didn't increase my confidence that it was all done correctly. I'll definitely ask them to look over the hitch installation when I go back in for the wiring.
Daniel FreeThis was the WORSE experience I have ever had. The truck they gave us broke down 77 miles into the trip, and the truck leaked, and ruined my furniture and they are not taking responsibility! They left us on the side of a VERY busy highway, with no where to go, in the middle of a snowstorm for over 6 hours. I was told I would hear from roadside service in 90 minutes. It took 6 hours! They did NOTHING to help us, NOTHING to make it right. There are so many issues I can't even write them all out!~. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. What a complete mess!

Brian BarwickI took the discount to drive it from clearfield to Provo. It was an extra 30 minutes out of my way. They charged my card for going over the mile limit. The mile limit was almost the exact amount of miles I was allowed and they left absolutely none for the actual moving part. To get to a storage unit, gas etc. The whole reason I got the truck was to move. I wouldn’t have gone out of my way an extra hour, plus my own gas if I would’ve known it was more expensive in the end.

This time around was pretty bad due to having an appt at 1:30pm that didn’t get finished until 6pm… They had their excuses but bottom line is the delay was avoidable if they had prioritized an appt over a product retrieval errand. They could’ve sent a front desk person to run the errand and not their only installer. They did give a credit for the delay but nothing could give me that much time back and only thing that would’ve got me to give 4 stars would’ve been to comp at least half of the total cost of the hitch install.

The abundance of moving trucks and trailers make it difficult to find a place to park anywhere, especially near the storage facility entrance. The storage unit customers are not the priority here.

As for areas for improvement, we felt the facility as a whole was well lit and well organized. The lot is so crowded with trucks and trailers that it is very difficult to access the storage units, and the few parking spaces that are by the door to the storage were blocked by empty trailers every time we were there! Plus, all of the trucks parked so close to the driveway made it impossible to see the traffic when pulling out of the parking lot. Other than that one thing, great experience! I was very impressed by how clean the storage units are.
