The staff at the Clarkston Uhaul were so friendly and helpful! The only small problem I had was working through the app, it didn’t load fast on my phone, but when I called with questions they were able to help me right away. Would definitely recommend !

The staff are awesome everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My issue was isolated, there was a leak in my unit that did a substantial amount of damage to my personal belongings, aside from that , the workers that came to fix the leak damaged my things even more- even going so far as to leave dirty handprints on some of my furniture (I’m assuming from moving it to fix the leak)

Why I was charged $20 extra. When I dropped vehicle in 6 hrs and charge is mentioned as after hour. It is a ripoff, pure stealing. Never ever in future if I rent, I will rent for 24 hrs.

I come to this location all the time and this the first time I get charged for returning the truck with less gas. I alway do my due diligence to make sure I fill it all the way and keep my receipts. Today I trusted the employee at the front she told me to just hand her the keys and they will check out the truck later and send over a receipt. Never again will I do that. They changed me $10 buck saying it’s not full someone there stealing and not trust worthy. I have family members that work for uhaul that’s management and will make a complaint.

The problem is that the truck must be delivered to the same location in Clarkston, and my experience with them was bad because I wanted to deliver the truck to a second location, but they refused and said that you must pay a fine of $300 or return the truck to the location from which you received it in Clarkston, and the employees’ behavior was good.

Why do I need to provide multiple contacts? Waste of time and I don’t need a referendum on my loneliness or preference to protect the privacy of friends/colleagues. Where is the drop box ? Now I have to drive back in the AM because the drop box was not obvious and I never got an email saying what to do with the key. I don’t blame the staff for this, they were fine - this is all bad process from management.

Were unable to provide dollies or hand trucks on 2 different occasions. A young couple ahead of me had rented online and had reserved hand trucks but didn't find out they had none until they came to pickup their truck. Next time I move I'll use a full service mover.

Wrongfully charged an after hours fee after U-Haul app would not allow me to complete the process. Customer rep at location charged my card twice and then attempted to recharge it a third time after processing refund. Is not fully versed in how to perform proper transaction. Situation still not fully rectified. Also a bit rude and didn’t do well with actually hearing the customer and their issues out without assumption. Associate named Tommy D.

My truck i had order want available at the moment I arrived. They gave me a smaller truck, which wasn’t really the problem. The truck itself though had many issues and basically wasn’t safe to drive. The mirrors were not adjustable at all, the engine check light was on the entire time. The whole truck was extremely shaky and felt unsafe to drive in, with or without items in it. I didn’t even want to go get gas for it because it was Dark and I didn’t want to be in the roads any more when I returned it. Also the bacon driver side door is open while you drive. This truck should be retired and honestly I believe I deserve some type of discount. This truck really made my move harder since I literally had to take longer routes on the roads just because it was safer to do so based on how the truck performed. I want to be clear there was no issues with the workers but only with my truck.

The location did not have a furniture dolly, which I had requested in my order, and suggested that I try another U-Haul location in my area for the dolly. I get that such things happen, but it would have been nice to know that in advance, for I had movers, requested through U-Haul, meeting me at my home shortly after I picked up truck. My wife and I tried 3 U-Haul places in the Tucker area: two did not answer the phone so we left a message, and one did not have a dolly either. We had to move furniture without the requested dolly. Is U-Haul experiencing a furniture dolly shortage? Otherwise, we had a great experience and would certainly recommend the Northern Ave. location to anyone looking for a load vehicle rental.

To Whom It May Concern: Everything was fine for the most part. The manager and staff communicated with me when my unit was approaching the auction date. Even after I paid before the auction date, my lock was cut and replaced. It was a headache trying to get my key to work on a new lock. They finally let me know it was a new lock. Why? I paid my late dues and extra unexplained fees. My rent was for $75 and all of a sudden went up to $95. I came in one time and a customer was in front of me. They could not complete their transaction because it required a manager. The clerk was stressed out, as well as the customer and myself waiting. The excuse was, "thr manager had to take her kids to school". I found that unacceptable when trying to manage a business. She gave the clerk what was needed over the phone to complete the process. Overall, no one was rude and they were professional most of the time (95%). I did not like being put on hold and then being transferred to the national line when my issue was with that local location. Then I was told I needed to drive an hour to make a payment in person or to speak with the manager. Otherwise, the experience was typical and expected. The calls after being a day late was annoying after having this unit for almost 4 years. Thanks

The storage that was promised to me 2019 was not available it was already in use but I was able to get a full refund. Very polite very helpful she even called me the next morning to tell me there was storage available now becusse someone moved out last night . Above and beyond. I don’t remember her name but her hair is brown roots then blonde maybe pink dye that is wearing off. I believe she is a caucasian. She works the 2nd shift. Her and ms wynn always helps me out and amazing customer service Everytime

If possible, have each facility take a photo of the return key area. I spent longer than I wanted to trying to find the key return at the Avondale location: the picture in the site pictured an orange box while the actual facility had a slit in a garage door. Was very confusing.

My only complaint is that I had to get rid of alot of items from my unit because, despite it being locked at all times when I wasn’t present, I came back to a muddy unit. All my belongings had mud all over them, which I don’t understand because it’s a contained space. Other than that I have no issues. Staff was good, especially the manager Wynn. Great customer service from her every time I encountered her.

After my devastating experience with Uhaul from Macomb , Michigan to Atlanta, GA . I thought I would never use this company again. The Manager & her staff @885 Northern Ave, Clarkston, GA 30021 changed my mind & trust back into Uhaul . This store is a Golden Ticket & Example of Excellent Customer Service Experience ! Every team member is throughly trained and able to answer all of my questions or concerns. The manager, Lynn , is an phenomenal Uhaul asset to Uhaul's high quality of Pure quality and provides pass my expectations of Great Customer Service! Two days before I had reserved a storage unit at another Uhaul storage facility; when I got there they told me my unit had been given away and it was first come first serve. I then made a reservation at this location and I called to ensure when I arrived the next day my unit would be available. Wynn, the GM was very understanding and assured me my unit would not be given away. When I arrived her staff was more than accommodating. They provided excellent customer service.

All my things flooded and they were not happy about me filing a claim. I just had a baby and all of the contents in storage were brand new and unopened baby items that I dearly needed at that time. It was tragic. I cried. Then only got back 100 dollars for all the items that were damaged in the flood.

We lost most of our things to mold in just 20 days of our stuff being stored there. Mold everywhere. I did four trips trying to clean it out and I came back to get the trash they already threw it away and charged me an extra$45 for it as if I didn't just lose items to mold in their unit. They were very insensitive and one young lady was talking about being petty about having to throw away items we came back to get. I wish it was a little more professional and they were a little bit more understanding of my situation.

I highly recommend this Uhaul location - we rented two different trucks, a storage unit, and dollies. The staff were nice and competent, the facilities were clean and working, and owner, Wynn, was incredibly helpful, even taking her own time to help us after hours. We had lost our gate card access and she came to help us and was available by phone whenever we needed help. Truly blessed to have picked this location for our move - it went much smoother than it would've been had we picked another location! Thank you!!

The gate code for getting into the storage is a problem. My Fob doesn’t work. I couldn’t at the beginning use the card or the code given to me. Went back yesterday to store some things and the Fob didn’t work. I managed to get in.
