The gas needle on the vehicle floats ... drove the van only 11 miles put a little more than 1 gallon of gas in the tank ... was charge $7.50 for a gas charge.. I gases up at 1 am due to unloading late night ... the needle read past the the point of pick up ... upon returning driving only 3 miles it was below. I neglected to get the $4 reciept and I guess they believed I didn't put gas so charge me a fuel fee.... 11 miles driving only. I DRIVE v8 cyl cargo van won't burn $7,.50 Worth of gas in 11 mile drive. If I wanted to save money I wouldn't have purchased the comprehensive / Collison insurance ... I hate when companies push or give incentives to up sale or try to find ways to up charge customers. Have lost my business for sure.... I just rented for convenience ...I own a cargo ...just wanted to save some time ... unloading 2 vehicles is quicker than unloading 1 vehicle in my case... SHAME ON UHAUL LABREA / OBAMA BLVD LOCATION

The truck had no gas I had to stop to get gas.

Although the checkout on the truck went smooth, the checkout on the Furniture Pads was extremely poor. After informing the counter girl and the man who physically checked out the truck that there are two separate reservations that needed to be closed, one for the truck and another one for the furniture pads, both workers still did not close out the other reservation for the furniture pads, Reservation #85555155. Now it is under a late status and we better NOT get any additional charge that I have to fight and spend more to to reverse it.

When I got there there was a person in each line so I sat on the boxes to wait my turn. With amazement I watched this women work both lines at the same time while answering internal and external calls and helping another employee with something else. She professional, efficient and courtesy. I later found out she was the GM and whoever promoted her she deserved it. Kudos to you Amber( I think that was the name) you did a excellent job.

The people inside were not very helpful; and when trying to locate the van on the mobile app, it took almost 8 times and help from two men outside to find an appropriate van. The gentlemen outside were very helpful and without them I would not have been able to find anything!

I received a text message assigning me a new drop off location, however, at my drop off time (3pm), that particular location was completely closed with no after-hour drop off capability. We learned this when we pulled up and saw that the lot was gated and locked up. This caused a lot of unnecessary stress, as we had to frantically call the corporate offices (which took a long time to get someone on the phone) and then get them to direct us to a different facility that was actually open and nearby. This was an awful experience after a long day of moving. Please do not assign drop off locations when that location is NOT OPEN during the Customer’s designated drop off time! It’s just common sense!

I was charged way more than the original quote I had seen online. It told me I would only pay around $45 for a cargo van and then when I got the final bill it came out to $110?? Makes no sense. The hidden fees made it 2.5x the amount I thought I would pay. Wild.

I was extremely frustrated because I showed up at my original location (the 76 gas station on Rose Avenue) and the woman wouldn't give me the truck assigned to me because it was 'broken'. No one from Uhaul had called me, and since it was a Sunday we had to wait for other locations to open. I also paid for a furniture dolly and it was not in the truck that we ended up getting.

This location was great. James was very friendly, personable, and had a positive attitude even though I was dropping off a trailer 10 minutes before they closed. James unhooked the trailer from the car with ease and efficiency, and I would definitely use this location again knowing my car and the equipment are in good hands.

I needed a storage space last minute and the customer service was excellent. Amber and LaTanya were very understanding, accommodating and patient with my lack of keen response through the overwhelming process of moving having mistakenly ordered too small of a truck. They were extremely helpful in guiding me. I appreciate them.

This was the worst truck rental experience I have ever had in my life. I will never rent from U-Haul again. No one helped me find the blankets I rented or the dolly, they claimed the tank was 1/2 full when it was only 3/8 full, the truck was damaged, and I was charged for things I did not rent. Don't rent here!

From the beginning to the end this was a mess. When I called to make the reservation they had the time in my name wrong the app wouldn’t work when I went to return the truck I couldn’t take a picture of the mileage and the gas. The whole thing was a mess very unprofessional.

The Uhaul customer service was atrocious. I received 5 different text notifications about different pick ups and times for one reservation. I had to try and call each time. The local traffic control team was rude and unhelpful. To top it all off we received two different invoices charging us twice which is incorrect and still has not been corrected. Overall the experience was horrible. I would have been much better off hiring a mover for a few hours. It would have been easier and cheaper.

I arrived a few minutes after my appointment scheduled time of 8am. No one was in the lobby but heard someone in a back office talking...waited about 10 minutes finally I yelled "hello" then someone popped out and said be right there....waiting another 5 minutes or so and then came out. Then was told the truck I rented was in the back ...weird there was a guy there that could have pulled it up...the truck was in the back part of area where all the trucks were parked and I had to back the truck up from the most INSIDE portion of the parking area then back through a narrow lane between parked trucks and the building which was very complicated but slowly I did it was it was very dangerous in my opinion. The customer service was the worst I have every dealt with for uHaul and I am very loyal..but this location gets a ZERO on how they handled my pick-up.

There was a missing gas cap. The truck smelled like gas about 10 mins into driving. I called at 4:00 to extend my reservation and no one answered. I was charged 3x as much as quoted.

All of the representatives were very helpful and friendly. I had to make a last minute change and they were very accommodating. I also live that I was able to order moving assistance directly on your site. The service provided by The Three King’s was excellent!

There appeared to only be 1 person working in the office - handling customers in the line as well as phone calls. If the overall process was more efficient and simpler this may not have been an issue. But the process of renting a truck is way too complicated - even if using the app. Therefore, the service is negatively impacted.

Your employees were underhanded regardless of them not knowing what to do. The Baldwim hills location is crammed and I was there for over 2 hours. The rental was late and the Van was filthy disgusting. Also, there was no gas in the van so I got held back again having to get it. Got the job done I guess, but geez this was a terrible experience. I feel bad for the girls who have to deal with everyone's shit. Lend a hand WHY DONT YOU lol

It took 1 hour and half to get a new storage. I was the first client. After me 7 people were waiting. The 2 "managers" as they called themself were incompetent. I always had helpful people there!

The person having to work the counter was working three jobs. There was only one person in front of us, but it had majorly back-logged and she had to help multiple people at once. So it took over an hour just to get a U-Haul.

The pickup location was 15 min further than what i requested and I wasn’t notified of the change. I only knew because I called to confirm and what notified of the change day of. It made my moving day a lot harder. In addition, the staff at the desk was not helpful and took a very long time. Very bad experience with U-haul as a whole. I spoke with corporate about the unannounced changed and I was told a manager would call, I am still waiting on that call.

Better customer service. They gave us a truck with the lock on, and they wouldn’t send anyone to our location to unlock it . They wanted us to stop what we were doing and wanted us to return with the truck so they can unlock it . They didn’t even apologize. It should be standard that they check that the lock isn’t on before giving it to the customer. We didn’t notice until we had our stuff in front of the truck to load. We had to put everything back in our unit and drive back to the location for them to unlock the lock. Wasted an additional hour just doing that and delayed our moving plans. Moving out is stressful as it is and they just added to that stress by being careless and unprofessional.

Very clean location, I was greeted upon entering the very clean store. I did experience that the computer system was a bit slow. Other than that all was great!

The pickup process through the application was sloppy and offers no way for issues to be handled. We were missing our moving blankets and the door at this U-Haul location was broken, so we had to walk all the way around and through the back door to get in. There was only one associate and he was very unprepared to help all the customers that were already annoyed with the door not working.

I had to pick up an auto transport at a separate location in LA on Vermont ave. Both locations had unfriendly untrained staff and the equipment was extremely old and unmaintained. The whole experience was an actual nightmare, I won't be using Uhaul ever again.
