Robert BI have dropped off here before and like this location, it is clean, personnel are friendly, and it is right near a gas station for easy fill up before return. When I tried to reserve truck on-line it didnt show this location as an option, and I had to call u-haul directly (& then when i went to pick up my truck, they still had it wrong!). If you are doing a one way rental and have a mileage cap, it is important to be able to choose pick up and drop off locations! Esp in cities like Worc that have many low overpasses that could make getting to them directly difficult. This location also sells almost anything you would need for your move
Donna LThis was not the pickup location I signed up for. Instead uhaul should have help troubleshoot the original location I was trying to pickup rather than moving me to a further location and charging me more. Website didn’t work for 24/7 pickup or the app. Best part was being on hold for 15 minutes and a rep saying I see you didn’t pickup your truck then describing I was on hold waiting to get it unlocked to which he said I would have to rewait in the queue or pickup at this location. Then he said he moved the reservation to which this location didn’t have the reservation or a truck available. This location was fine but overall pick up experience was awful and would never recommend truck 24/7.

Evelyn BWhile the U-haul lot itself was almost 5 I had to give it 4 stars because of the location and the process when you return a truck after hours. Because I had to stand outside taking pictures in the parking lot after dark,even though there was a well lit park next to the facility, people were arguing and yelling profanities in that park, I just wanted to get out of there, but I had to spend time taking pictures and answering questions before I could even drop the key in the box, and the location of the key box was the only part of the building that was not well-lit. Also our truck did not come with a dolly, but when questioned about breaking the green strap I could only answer yes or no and not applicable was not an option. And yes, I realized that last statement has nothing to do with location. However, I had no other way to give my input into an overlooked question.

Thomas WThis is the second time I have rented from this location where the "furniture trolleys" and "appliance 2 wheeler" which were included in my order request were not available on the day of pickup. Don't understand why UHaul cannot send confirmation ahead of the pick up date stating items ordered are not available.
Mark GIt took two hours to finally figure out how to get the key out because support kept telling me I have to press in the code and I kept telling him it’s not a code as the padlock and then I had around for the van the truck I got in the truck and it was smelly I sat in the seat and part of the dashboard fell out onto my knees and I had to push it back in. I took a picture of it. The back door on the gate is busted, so it was hard to turn because one of the rollers was broken off also the Padlock on the back wouldn’t open and the passenger door won’t open. The people that came to help me move had to get in the door on the other side and when I came back to return it all it was kind of a process it wasn’t simple. Also they charge me for 10 miles. I don’t believe it was 10 miles Because I went to my house and back to the storage unit that was down the street from Hammond and that’s only I think it was about 2 miles each way so I went 2 miles home 2 miles back downtown and to drifted off. It should be 5 miles at the most , I think there mileage was wrong my mileage was 142335.This was the mileage when I started. Also, the vehicle didn’t shift correctly.i can see s picture
Kenneth SThis location was much bigger than where I picked up. Also very convenient as it is a block away from a gas station so you can make sure you replace the gas. There are several underpasses around this location so you need to make sure larger trucks will clear. Personnel were very efficient and professional.

Clive GI returned the truck with same gallon levels as they gave me and also with miles less than what they estimated before handing over the keys to me. Also I returned the vehicle before the estimated time of return. But they charged me additional $26 dollars for a reason I am not sure. Being a first user I am completely unsatisfied with service offered to me.

Tyrell WAs was the case the last time I rented a truck from this location, the customer service reps were great. Always very helpful. The problem is the condition of the trucks. My truck had a cracked windshield, a cracked side mirror, and a lot of body damage. I understand it’s hard to keep up with every little bit of body damage these trucks incur. But trucks with broken windshields and mirrors, should be pulled out of service, until those things get fixed. That seems like a huge safety issue.

paul lThe cargo van was excellent but I have one major problem with how it was cleaned. The floor, the brake pedal, gas pedal, and the step up had a shiny treatment like Armor-All and was extremely slippery like grease. The grip of my trail shoes was negated and my foot slipped off the pedal several times making any travel very dangerous. Conditioners and cleaners that make the floor and pedals slippery are a hazard and if an accident had happened there would have been terrible consequences.

However, we live out of state and we can never get anyone one the phone or answer an email. I called several times each time I was on hold for over 60+ minutes and never talked to anyone. My emails were never answered. Its incredibly frustrating to not get through to ANYONE living far away. Because they handle truck rentals too I get the long wait times... but why not answer an email. Unfortunately, because of this last experience we will not return.

They gave me great advice, useful tips and I never once felt judge like I had at other places before. I rented all my trucks and most of my supplies. I appreciate them so much! They have made this transition a lot easier. I highly recommend this location! They’re amazing and will help. The storage unit was secure, the lock was sturdy and it was really easy to use. Easy to open and easy to close. It helped a lot. I searched all over to find a unit that had good ratings and wasn’t always being broken into. I like that some of them were temperature controlled or heated. They showed me the different sizes, so I was sure the size I picked would fit everything. Thanks for being patient with me. This wouldn't normally be a problem except that each customer needed 10-15 minutes of staff time. Once we got up to the desk, the staff was very helpful.

We particularly appreciate the excellent customer service by Huy Nyugen, who was always responsive to our questions and concerns. He made us feel truly appreciated as customers. The one problem we had was evidence of the presence of mice in our unit. We understand this problem has to do with the urban setting, and undoubtedly with those unit renters who do not follow the rules of not keeping foodstuffs in the facility. However, Mr. Nyugen was very responsive to our concern and called on staff immediately to clean our unit of mouse droppings. We also appreciate the rodent-control box which was in the unit, which I believe definitely helped. Overall we were very happy with our experience at the facility. Having it available made our lives much easier getting our new home settled. Thank you!

Never again will I use U-Haul for storage or truck. I’d rather store it in a cardboard box outside and take a bus.

They've trimmed the hours from 24/7 to 7a-7p most days, which makes loading or unloading after work most days unfeasible. Beyond that, and much more infuriating, is the fact that the self-access door is usually some sort of inaccessible. Either the door itself is locked (even during hours, you have to go find the office people and have them unlock it), or the computer system is broken and therefore the self-access key reader doesn't work, in which case you STILL have to go find the office staff and ask them what's what. Rarely a smooth experience here. Storage is fine, but a bit of a headache.

david m | First ImpressionsThe first storage I had on the 4th floor (not climate controlled) the roof leaked into my storage and I had some mice dropping in the unit. The GM (Jennifer) was super helpful this time- she moved me to the 2nd floor, the general manager charged me the same as the previous unit I had which was great because it was a nicer unit on the 2nd floor and closer to the elevator. She was super helpful and went above and beyond for me. I didn’t go check on my stuff for about two months, when I went to clean it out this past week there was mice dropping every where in the unit causing me to have to throw somethings away which is very frustrating as I moved everything to the second floor in hopes of it being a better unit especially with the climate control. I had mice droppings stuck in the tape of my packed boxes and dropping all around and inside my daughters toys and all over my wooden table, etc. I wouldn’t recommend the storage site to anyone as two different floors I had similar issues and all I got the day I officially moved out was “sorry” and they took the full rent payment from me even though my stuff and my kids stuff were ruined yet again. We lost some belongings from the issue in the first unit and now we lost more of our belongings. I always paid my rent and if it was late I always paid it before it ever went into default status. Clearly there’s a rodent issue in the building that needs to be addressed. And the fact that I was charged for the full month after I brought the issue up to not one but two workers and both times only got a “sorry” .. not once did anyone ask how can we fix it? How can we make this experience better? I tried to be hopefully in keeping the unit and giving uhaul my business, I’m not sure if the GM left and if the building is under new management now but I will say this past visit to the facility was not a great experience at all.

BY FAR, this U-HAUL Facility has been THE BEST I've ever used. I was continuously impressed by how clean the facility had been kept, and the convenience of having an elevator (which was ALWAYS working properly whenever I need it) and a very well-lighted facility provided great value for my money spent. The CLIMATE CONTROL throughout THE YEAR was superb. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this facility.

When I arrived to the facility to check-in for my storage unit, the gentle man outside greeted me and offered to help with my rental as I also had a truck to return. I originally booked a 10x10 unit but changed my mind last minute to a 5x10, and they were very accommodating. There was a computer issue that caused me some delays but the manager exceeded my expectations and stayed after hours to resolve the issue and made sure I was able to get into my unit. Moving can be stressful and exhausting. Jennifer Rivera was understanding of that and made my experience better by being friendly, professional, and accommodating. I look forward to my next visit.
