I personally visited this location twice prior to picking up my truck and equipment. On the day of pickup, some equipment was unavailable even though I made prior arrangements. Was NOT impressed with the attitude or response of the manager. If not in a bind, I would have canceled the entire process!!

The scheduling online system is not working well. I showed them my confirmation email with 4/3/24 confirmed and their system indicated my installation was 4/4/24 at 2 pm. No one apologized. Just blame the computer???

The rep that checked me in tried giving me a van that was filthy with dog hair all over the seats and there was urine smell all in the cabin. The van was pull off the line, it was just returned back in. That's poor service on keeping equipment clean. I was given a different van, which was good, but when I returned it, the gentleman that checked me out was climbing inside the van while having a black and mild lit up in his mouth.

The computer system went down so the location had to reenter the reservation manually. They were able to get through the issue and still get me out in a decent amount of time. Great service and I would rent from this location again.

I arrived to this uhaul place 1 minute after closing. the employee was still outside and informed me they were closed and told me i would have to leave it outside, he then proceeded to run away and start quickly locking up the store. i then had to by myself use my own jack and jack up the uhaul so that i could get the trailer off my truck, he watched in the store untill i left and did not try to help me.

You can update your drop off system - I was told after I rented the truck and it was loaded that I would not be able to drop it off where I wanted, I needed to drop it off an hour and a half away and when I refused to do that they told me I would have to find my own drop off, which I did - see below but you charged me $20 for using the original drop off that I wanted and not the one that was halfway across the state! And no one bothered to check to see if that location would take the truck or not - it was just assumed that he wouldn't, I'm pretty pissed off about it - not the location's fault - it came from somewhere where the 888 # is and they were not helpful when I called them

The attendant disappeared for long periods of time regardless of a growing line of customers. She never apologized for the wait. We arrived 15 min early to pick up our rental and didn't leave until 25 min after our rental period began. She spoke in a very rude tone upon us returning the van, and despite us having cleaned the van out prior to return, announced over the entire store "are you going to clean this out or am I?" Very unprofessional. Additionally, the van we rented reeked of stale cigarette smoke and was filthy; however we were later charged for the uncleanliness that we were given to begin with. Will never use this UHaul location again, nor will we recommend to anyone.

This was by far the best Uhaul I’ve been to. I have gone there twice to have hitches placed on my cars and just had the best experience renting a box truck. The manager and another woman employee both had outstanding customer service. I needed to extend the rental by one day and the manager was so understanding and helpful. I had been to a nearby Uhaul and had the exact opposite experience before. Everyone go here for your hauling needs!

Manager very rude and charged me an EXTRA day for absolutely no reason ! Almost $50 more than the truck originally cost. And told me it was because of me dropping the truck off an hour after closing. Which is ridiculous

I have rented from U-Haul many times and have always been satisfied. This branch is very efficient. Convenient to the interstate. Open times are later than most. I have never had any issue with the trucks. Would highly recommend. Thanks for all you do!!!

The truck broke down in the middle of our moving day. We also waited for about 2 hours just for a mechanic to show up and he knew exactly what the problem was. It was the shifter cable that came off and the truck would not drive. Coincidentally the mechanic knew exactly what the problem was which leads me to believe that he knew exactly where to and knew exactly what the problem was which also leads me to believe that this is a constant problem with this same exact truck and they are still renting it out without fixing the problem. You guys did not offer a discount or take a percent off for the trouble. 2 hours of delay to a truck that has an existing problem and you guys still rented it out. This is unprofessional and careless to a company and corporation as big as U-Haul. Also shows how unprofessional this location is. Sorry but very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Everything was good except the card readers for entrance to storage. I had to swipe way too many times for it to actually work. A few times even after the first swipe worked the 2nd one was denied and had to start over again. Very frustrating.

Wess was not friendly or helpful to customers that were not Caucasian. His colleague who was not Caucasian, requested assistance with a matter with another customer and he ignored his question. It was very hard watching Wess treat customers and staff with such disregard.

Moving is stressful let alone storing my valuables away from home was even more uncertain. However the entire experience was easy. My valuables were there for an entire year I always had access 24-7 and never an issue with elements pests or rodents. The facility was clean staff helpful and friendly. Thank you for helping to solve my temporary storage issues and never complicating the experience. I highly recommend this location and if ever the need arises again I will seek your services.

I rented this a week ago 2/12, When i got there my card didn't work, The staff was about as useful as a I was bothering them. I WILL NOT BE THERE LONG NOW! The facility has water leaks! I got moved out apparently because the lock wasn't on the door, I had to get my last load from W V, Pulled in to unload and the nightmare started. I rented a space for a year. Overall my experience was pleasant. MY ONLY PROBLEM/CONCERN/CRITIQUE IS THE FOLLOWING: My billing day was the 19th of every month. The South Park location forwarded late notices to SEVERAL DIFFERENT ADDRESSES. Addresses that weren't mine and addresses I never lived at. It's clear that some sort of investigation had to happen to even get the addresses. I believe that that is just extreme. These notices were sent out as soon as the 20th and sometimes judging by the postmarks three in the same day. I've never been more than a few days late. I've never ever owed more than what was due the current month. And upon move out I owed nothing, in fact I had two remaining weeks on the current month I had already paid. This amount of invoicing or building of any kind is absurd. It seems they went on the internet and just sent out invoices to whatever addresses they could find. When in fact your offices had several phone numbers for me and my email address. I always answered when they called me or returned the call right away. I don't understand why my invoices and late notices were mailed out, listing personal information and storage my location and I can't understand for the life of me why anyone from UHAUL would dim this appropriate or legal for that matter. I don't know why billing felt it necessary to use mail of any kind when I had already opted for paperless contact, never gave a forwarding addres to mail any information of any kind to. I can't even at this moment understand why I had mail sent all over the state, to relatives of friends and random strangers who knew those relatives. (The only reason I got wind of it at all) This collection policy of yours is one of the very reasons why I removed my belongings and it is also the reason why I would probably never rent a space for the amount of time I rented this space for. It was invasive and in my humble opinion very dangerous. Whenever someone is in a storage or moving situation the last thing that should be allowed is for any type of collection process to begin the very day after the bill is due and for that invoice and location to be mailed to any random address found off the internet. I found it extremely unprofessional. Also, The digital card machine that grants you access into the storage area at the South Park location sometimes doesn't work upon the first swipe or the second or the fifth for that matter one day I attempted to get into my storage facility and could not gain access on my own due to a faulty swipe machine and had to be let in from inside the facility on this day I contacted the facility manager and left a message detailing exactly what my problem was and this was 8 months ago I have never heard from him or gotten an email or call about it. This was very distasteful. Though I never had any additional problems gaining access it left quite the sour taste in my mouth to know that if I ever in fact had a problem that there would be no contact made by the management or any representatives at the location. Sad to say this was good storage but absolutely not good business. I have been a customer of U-Haul for over 10 years and honestly before this experience I had nothing bad to say. A personal relationship with a customer renting from you for a year should be established and respected. That is all. S. Powells

Turn-in, in Virginia was exceptional. The issuing facility, Torrance, CA, failed to properly check vehicle (wiper blades). I lost 1 1/2 travel days due to the poor wiper blades.
