Rented a van and got the fuel tank at 3/8 which upon return I filled it to the same level 3/8 . Once I received the final bill via email my total was even more than my estimated miles that I had estimated to drive when I drove less miles than my estimate so the bill should have been less . looked more into it and saw that I was charged for gas which I should have not as I did fill it up Now there is no refund for the extra charges nor a phone call from the location even after speaking to customer care twice WATCH OUT WHILE RENTING AT THIS LOCATION SPECIALLY UPON RETURN THAT YOU CONFIRM UR FINAL BILL BEFORE LEAVING THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT ETHICAL AT ALL

The vehicle was in overall good condition considering the mileage of almost 100k. The only adjustment I believe that needed to be made was an alignment on the front end. The truck had a pretty strong pull to the right. Just commenting to potentially save you tired and improve mileage if that vehicle isn't traded soon.

Having everything ready when I came for my auto transport before getting on the road. It took about 45 min because the first transport wasn’t working well. Also the person who installed the car attachment chained one the chains to my muffler to secure it. The uhaul location that I dropped it off out told me the prob should not have done that.

Everything was great except for my door. All the representatives from both locations were fantastic. 5-stars for both locations. I only had one problem during the drive. The door seal was broken / installed wrong / came undone and all I could hear was the screeching noise during my entire travel. It was deafening. Other then that, I will be using your service again.

When I got into the vehicle, the dashboard said that it required an oil change. Whether the vehicle actually required an oil change or if the oil change reminder had simply not been reset, it's unacceptable to rent a vehicle to a customer for a hundreds-of-miles-long drive with that reminder on the dashboard, especially when your rental facility is right next to a Jiffy Lube.

I made a reservation to pick up the uhaul at 8:30 in the morning. When I arrived they don’t even open until 9:00. When I explained what happened to the person that worked there they didn’t even apologize. I told them the website indicates they open at 8:00 and they might want to make a correction...she just laughed. Makes me think this has happened many times before. Customer service is really sub par. They have no intention of making a correction.

Return process! No one was around, I parked the truck at the far end and had to drag a bin of things I brought with me all the way back to the front. A guy say/heard me and just ignored me. When I turned the key in and I told them no one was around outside to tell me where to go I got “ yeah we’re all busy”! Have a return person until you turn off the lights please

The online booking requires a debit or Visa card to hold but when you check in don’t require it they say. I don’t like the idea that they use there personal phones to take pics of your ID for UHauls intake.

The equipment was old. It creaked a lot and had a blown marker bulb. But it was otherwise clean, safe and did the job. The staff was friendly and worked hard to move through the line of customers while taking proper care of everyone. However, because it is a busy location, it did take longer than I had hoped to pick up and drop off. A shorter wait time and newer trailers would have earned 5 stars rather than 4.

Personnel was NOT helpful and did not offer me different options of vehicle insurance. I asked multiple times for the highest coverage and was assured that the plan that I got covered any accidental damage. Turns out what I got was not what was promised. I got the Safegaurd instead of the Safegaurd plus and now I have overhead damage.

Very easy. At one point there was a bloom of crickets which made a bit of a mess. No other challenges though. And I’m 6’3” and I bumped my head on the ceiling in the unit whenever I was in there.

The uhaul vehicle itself was terrible. I've rented recently, and previously, and never have I had any of the issues with a truck and service as I did this one. The bad experience started when I went to pick up the vehicle, which I reserved for 1 day - 24 hours. But the employee put the wrong information, so 4 hours later, I received a notification that I had to return the truck in 2 hours. I had to call and spend time adjusting the reservation. Truck was filthy when I got it. Engine seemed to rev high all the time (regardless of the tow button pressed or not). Anytime I let go of the brake, the car would shoot back and engine would rev high (again, regardless of tow button pushed in or not). Also, the back lift door / gate got stuck multiple times which caused me time to try and fix (thankfully I did). The worst part was when I told the store employee about this, his reason / excuse was, "Yeah, it's about time we retire this vehicle." He didn't seem to care about the problems I had, and the frustration I had with the vehicle.

I parked my uhaul in what I thought was the main entrance building and there wasn’t a drop key box then I walked down the road and seen another entrance but still no drop box key like the website had they did have a mailbox slot with a 24/7 sign so to me that is a bit confusing

On 1/3/2020, I reserved a 15' truck and a dolly to be picked up at a U-Haul vendor, Leal's Tire Service, at 8700 FM 969, Austin, TX, The reservation was confirmed with confirmation # 20587032. Leal's didn't have the dolly. I said I had a confirmed reservation. The clerk blamed it on U-Haul and gave me a dispatch number. They sent me to 5412 N. Lamar, Austin, TX, where, dispatch promised, my truck and dolly would be. I drove across town to get there, but no dolly. The folks at 5412 N. Lamar sent me to 12611 Research Blvd. On the way there, I promised myself that if 12611 Research Blvd. didn't have what I needed, I would give up on U-Haul altogether. Happily, they had what I needed. The point of this story is that U-Haul let me down. Twice. In a row. What good is a reservation system if it doesn't work? You wasted a lot of my time and I don't appreciate that. In the future, I will reserve things (if I choose to do business with U-Haul at all), but I will also call the location since apparently a confirmed reservation means nothing to U-Haul.

There was a younger blind lady there that listened to my story for bei g late and said she would not charge me. Then my wife calls because our bank said they charged our card $112 anyway without any notification and after lieing to us saying they would not charge us. Turns out the older lady, despite hearing the younger lady said no charge, went ahead anyway and arbitrarily charged my card without consent which is fraud and personally think she should be fired. I will not use Uhaul again despite my family using it since its existence, nor will I take advantage of the store room I would have taken had it not been for that thief of a woman Uhaul should do something about het!

The trailer had a flat tire. The u-haul representative just filled it with air and stated it should be fine. I asked him to replace the tire or give us a different trailer because I did not want to end up having the tire go flat again while in transit. He stated that he could not change out the tire and there were no other trailers. The tire did go flat again. I had to purchase an portable air compressor to inflate the tire every 1.5-2 hours during our entire trip from Austin to Granby, CO. We were traveling on a Sunday-Monday in remote Texas panhandle areas and it would have been difficult and a huge delay to try and fine a tire repair shop...we had a time deadline to get back to Granby. I am very disappointed.

my only recommendation would be to fix the drainage issues around the back open storage area, gutters may help alot in reducing waterflow. in front of my rental space the gravel was quite washed away
