I did this order through the UHaul website and it was probably the most misleading pile of shit I've ever used. The website was constantly showing me the incorrect amount due. I called Uhaul about this and the amount they were seeing did not ever line up with what I was seeing. I was being charged for things that I shouldn't have been, I got double charged for insurance. It was awful. I can't imagine I am the only person who came across this issue but it seems to be as if Uhaul is misleading customers and over charging them through their website. Had I not called about this I know damn well I would have overpaid and no one there would have ever contacted me about it. I originally had to go through customer support through their text line and that person argued with me about what I had already paid / owed despite me having bank statements that proved what I paid and their numbers not adding up. It was just horrendous. Aside from that, everyone from dropping off my pod to picking it up once it got to it's destination was fantastic and the person I eventually got a hold of that straightened out the amount due was also stellar. What sucks is that this "review" is for the place that delivered the box to my house which was great. The people there were awesome. My whole issue is their website and their awful texting support they make you go through.

Everyone at this uhaul has been up and beyond stellar!! This is such a stressful time to move and so many moving parts!! Not only were your staff friendly, they were giving helpful advice to get through the large task we had ahead of us. We can not say thank you enough to everyone!!

The truck was very shaky and swallowed gas . When I got it I was told there was 3/4 of a tank of gas in it and in reality there was less than half so I paid way more for gas then I should’ve .

Everything went well with the drop off people in erie, pa. They answered the phone, and delivered everything promptly. Underestimated the number of boxes needed by 3, but were able to deliver needed boxes on time. The delivery side in ocala was a nightmare! They never answered their phone- mover help said they were always busy with only 2-3 ppl working- that's a management issue- when ever I called, I got rerouted to the central hub immediately- like my number was ' flagged' as a nuisance... I had serious questions and felt very ignored by them... very unprofessional. I was told by the central hub that the Mgr was being messaged to call me, but he never did- very frustrating. Do not recommend the south ocala location.

This is my hands down favorite location. I’m not sure why you always send me somewhere else as this is the closest location for me. I always have to pay extra because I’m sent so far away. I loved the gentleman that was working. I couldn’t get my app to work and he handled everything very calmly and with complete professionalism! Thank you

Some staff gives you misleading or incorrect information regarding the cost of a move-out. We were told and expecting a refund for the price difference between a large cube and a small one when we moved to the smaller one mid month. My wife and I both heard the same thing. Nope. We get a credit for use towards a locker we will likely never need again. We feel like we were dealing with used car salesmen. On the plus side, the place was clean and the loading bays were convenient. They do need to fix their wiring disaster though. Allot of the wiring is backwards. The lights that tell you if a bay is open or not is backwards, they always show occupied. The alarm on our locker went off every time we opened it, even after badging in. Eventually, after many weeks, that was fixed but many others were not. Bottom line, be skeptical of what you are told.

The truck was clean, except the windshield was very dirty, the wind shield wipers had to be changed mainly because the thudding noise they made and I was going and did run into a storm. I was glad the truck made the trip and it drove well. Also you did respond and compensated me for the wipers, thank you for that! Henry

I have dealt with Cliff a few times as I had a storage unit previously. He is great to work with, does a wonderful job. Only caveat is that my storage unit triggers alarm for 10 seconds every time I open unit even after logging in. Been told that a few units have a wiring issue that causes this. Not a big deal, just annoying.

The door and latches on the truck could use some lubricant. The fuel outgoing fuel guage was lower than marked. Not a big deal but the mileage was exactly 1 mile lower than actual. The rest of the reservation, pickup and drop off process was excellent!

Dolly and blankets were left in the trailer from previous renter. I did not realize until I was home and wasn't able to drive them back in. This was really inconvenient having to move all of this around and the Dolly ended up falling over and damaging $150 worth of inventory that i could not sell at the Holiday festival at the convention center.

I rented the Uhaul and it had less then half a tank. By the time I finished it dropped under a quarter tank and All together I ended up being charged over $140 dollars. I only rented a $19.95 a day truck. I returned it clean. I was told gas would need reimbursed for $5.50 per gallon. Even with the $30 dollar charge it should not have been over $100. Very sad that a moving company is set up to take advantage of people in bad situations. $100 was all the money we had and should have covered everything.

I reserved a trailer to transport a motorcycle. The person that I spoke with said it had a front wheel chock. When I went to pick it up, non of the trailers for two way had wheel chock. Bad communication.

The truck they gave me was old and loud had very bad gas mileage and smelled like exhaust in the cab while driving. They were nice people and had an ok location but couldn’t care less when I told them how I felt about the trucks condition.

No complaints!! Very clean, well maintained, safe facility. I never had a problem accessing my unit. The building is sparkling clean, climate controlled, restrooms (clean!) and available. Plenty of carts. If I ever need a storage unit again, I will use this one.

I would have given 5 stars, but the gentleman who waited on me gave me someone else's receipt which resulted into myself having to drive half way across town.n make several phone calls. Bruce Mackall is a great leader by example for his staff (I’m sure many customers such as me notice him too!). He’s a skilled listener, seems to know “a lot about a lot,” and his employees/staff respect and follow his example. On what authority do I make these assertions? I rose from field sales, up through the ranks (over 25+ years) to become Vice President of North American sales in the customer-centric, complex, and competitive world of high-tech medical device sales, and would’ve ostensibly become CEO of the world-leader in the industry/space (my company) had it not been for a near fatal accident by my wife that required me to step down and become her care-giver for 2+ years, a decision that I do not regret BUT that effectively ended a career that I loved. I still enjoy recognizing top talent and making my perspective known, and Bruce would’ve been a great Regional Manager for me with the appropriate medical and technical experience and acumen.

The guy at the front desk, Clifton, was super helpful, efficient, and working his butt off to get everything done. However, there was only one person there and that made the wait time really long. Typical corporation, only scheduling one person when you really need three or four. But that's on Uhaul as a company for mismanagement and not on the guy working there, who had incredible customer service and helped me out a lot.

The only reason my rating wasn’t an excellent is because when I cleaned out my unit well before the bill was next due, I was told there is no refund for u used time. So I paid my bill in good faith every month and didn’t receive a good faith refund for unused unit charges.
