Wrong van was gave to me and the staff couldn’t calculate the miles that was used also was told I wouldn’t be charged for gas. Charges don’t add up

I wouldn't say it was this location, but Uhaul overall. I sat Monday waiting to pick up a truck for 4 hours to turn around Tuesday and waited 2 or 3 hrs to get my truck because someone is not doing their job properly. I did truck share, the first truck was too small but I had put $70 of gas in there but as it was told to me, no one could help me out with either a credit or a fill up on the new truck that I got. Sad customer service. I have not slept in 2 days trying to get truck and load a truck to move. Not happy!

Taylor BI was very upset when I found out the truck only took E85 gasoline, I drove around frantic to find a gas station in the area tono avail. I went over my mileage attempting to fill the truck up. I. The end I was charged extra mileage and for gas! Completely unfair.

Gary PUsually have a great experience at this location. Unfortunately, the truck I rented was dirty and the front seat stained. I spoke with the manager regarding this, he seemed annoyed and angry with me that I would want a clean vehicle. He came out and looked at it and even acknowledged that the truck was filthy. His attitude and response were less than professional.
Gautam RI got a truck that was disgusting and had a roof leak. My $3000 couch was soaked along with 2 sets of mattresses. Really not happy AT ALL. For such an expensive service we got treated like dogs.

Estelle CWe scheduled an appointment for Saturday afternoon at 3 pm and when we arrived the 2 individuals working the desk seemed surprised and said their installation tech had already left for the day. Said we could leave the van and it would be done first thing in the morning. I was apprehensive about leaving the van, but they assured me it would be garaged overnight. The next day, our van wasn’t completed until approximately 1pm, we picked up our car without problems. The big issue is we had a cd case full of 100 or so children’s DVDs that my son watches when we are in the car. This DVD case is missing and it never leaves the van. I am just so saddened by this. I feel violated and taken advantage of.

Blaise LIf they actually CLEANED the cabin of the vehicle before renting. The truck I rented had dirt on the seats. Also, the gentleman who helped me with the rental wasn’t very pleasant or friendly. I know everyone has a bad day every now and then but when dealing with the public…it would have made the experience better if he didn’t act like I was inconveniencing him by wanting to rent the truck.

General manager was very impatient and rude on pick up, and at drop off I waited at the truck for 20 minutes while the GM paced around the lot while on the phone. I've rented easily more than a hundred Uhaul trucks, this was the worst experience and I will make sure not to rent from this location again.
matthew bTruck got stuck in my yard in the mud 5 feet from my driveway. AAA wont touch it because it’s a rental, so I had to pay the asinine $415 fee for someone to come a hour later and take 30 seconds to pull it out. Pretty insane and pathetic to charge people a flat rate TWENTY times the rental rate just to get your equipment out of a jam, knowing other companies won’t help. Have a tiered pricing structure for assistance like any reasonable business should. I was also instructed to fill the truck up to a quarter tank, but was given the truck with less than 1/8th of a tank. Why am I being coerced into buying UHaul extra fuel? No thank you.

BEVERLY RIt is not certain that I will return to this location for certain equipment rentals? I rented a two wheel car dolly. I was told to proceed the equipment and hook up/connection assistance would arrive shortly. I waited several minutes to no avail! Aware of the procedure, I connected the car dolly to my truck myself! By this time someone made their way to my location and verified proper brake/signaling function! Upon return, an employee was annoyed at the suggestion to assist me[two of us] in the unhooking or the car dolly and pushing it no more than six feet! I am likely twice his age but I did it alone! I went inside for a printed copy of final receipt but the onsite printer was down! The ratchet mechanism for securing the wheel straps did not seem to function well for releasing the straps, needed a screwdriver to create slack to be able to remove the straps! The car dolly did appear to be relatively new otherwise?

ROBERT SRestrooms were a mess!!!!! No toilet paper etc. Customer service could have been more pleasant. I feel as though, that if you have multiple employees on hand, then your restrooms should always be in order. Please start checking on them from time to time. But THANK THE LORD that I was able to complete my move( my storage items). Thank you for your services!

Roger SThe gm has a major attitude. Told me he didn't have to rent to me. This was after an exchange of trying to give him my name, Joe, which is short for Joseph. I tried giving him my last name but he didn't want to take it. I think it is very unprofessional, when dealing with customers, which I had explained to him that my mom is the only person in this world that calls me by my full 1st name and she is no longer living. He just sat there and shook his head. I rent from uhaul numerous times a month. This is not customer service.
JOSEPH CI was verbally abused and physically threatened by employee “x” when returning my truck on 2/24/24. Said employee was upset I had parked “outside of the lane” whilst transferring stuff to my car, I made a comment that it “wasnt my fault other people couldn’t drive” (which I later apologized for) to no avail. Employee x had hair in braids and gold teeth and made me extremely uncomfortable, continually cussing me and threatening to “put me in my own trunk”. This is NOT acceptable!

There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit. However the light in the storage room we rented was burnt out.
