Put fuel trucks to be rented, I almost ran out of fuel. Trucks are not clean, crap all over the floor, dirty windows, just plain ole unsanitary conditions. Who ever is over the condition of the interior of the trucks is getting free money from uhaul. Stop using a blower to clean out the dust in the inside of the roll backs!!

Francis BennellAt the customer service desk when you are handed the keys to the vehicle, there needs to be a person available to lead you in the direction of the parked truck and instructions should be given at the counter that the numbers on the keys should match the numbers at the top of the truck. I was eventually given directions to where the truck was parked but wasn’t told about the matching numbers. Improvement on the communication side. Otherwise everything else was good.

Dan CarletonMy experience with u-haul was horrible and it ended up costing me an additional $400.00 because it was agreed that I would pick up the truck at 8:00am. When I arrived at the u-haul facility to pick up the, they weren't even open. There were several of us standing in the cold waiting for the place to open. Needless to say, I was pissed. I finally got the truck at about 9:20am. My movers had to wait for the truck. This caused me to have to pay guys for sitting around doing nothing. This is ridiculous. I will never do business with the facility on Mayfield again. And I'm going to warn everyone I know to not use them. By the way, I will be complaining to corporate Monday.
russell TYEUm... since you asked... I showed up at 8:00 AM, the time of my reservation, and there was a large line of people waiting outside (in the cold) since 7:00 AM. The building did not open until after 8:20, despite the published start time of 7:00. At that time, I almost canceled my reservation since people had been waiting on theirs for almost an hour and a half. I was fortunate in that the person who did show up saw me waving my phone with the app and stopped what she was doing to let me jump to the front of the line. There were multiple elderly people with physical health issues who were struggling from having to stand for that long (there is limited customer parking on site). Everyone was irritated. Understandably so. The vehicle was great, but I'll rent elsewhere next time. Every time here picking up is *always* stressful and takes much longer than is reasonable. Drop-off is always easy.

China HarrisI was given a cargo van with a great deal of damage from the prior person. The worst being that the side door wouldn’t close fully and we struggled several times to get it to shut at all due to the lock being busted. We were unable to safely transport my business gear without fear that the door would open and items would fall out. I was supposed to have this rental for the entire weekend and returned it after just a few hours because we couldn't use the truck. Still got charged almost $90 for the rental when I wasn't even able to use it. The van I was given had no business being used until the damage was addressed. One of the employees even joked to another person that they couldn't believe that van was getting used. This rental was a huge disappointment and a big waste of money.

What a joke! This place needs to be torn down and replaced. I will definitely NOT use uhaul storage again based on this experience. Josh did his best to help us, but as he said several times - "He doesn't work here".

I had an original issue when I first got here when there was no staff there and they all bailed and didn’t tell any of the customers what they were doing and they just left and they were extremely rude and I told the manager about this and she calmedsomething of mine and it was nice for you to do that but you know they never fix the security issue with the lights the employees are still lazy do not care about them the customers and the last time my last day there I still had an issue where I was trying to check out of my storage unit and there were three employees sitting outside doing nothing and they were customer sitting inside weeding doing nothing but waiting for somebody that’s going to come that’s not going to come because they’re sitting outside talking to other employees I would never recommend this place I almost wanna never use Uhaul again it was the absolute worst place I could ever go everything I did but into that place had a fit through the size of a door otherwise it was a nightmare to try and get this other side door open and I just absolutely hate this place.

I was informed (by the move help) that Uhaul staff told him not to offload (unload) the Uhaul truck. The truck was just sitting at Uhaul yard. Uhaul keeps on charging me everyday for the truck I did not use even though it was returned (parked) at the Uhaul approved return location. Not only that, without communicating with me, Uhaul went ahead to close the storage I fully registered and paid for. I see this as a sabotage. I contacted Uhaul supervisor few times for help, she did not offer to help. All I was hearing from her was I cannot help. Even though this was a fully paid for service, I felt I got very poor value out of it. I felt helpless.
Oluwagbenga Oluwaleye | Online Move InAdd storage facility when you were in the dark damp and deep recesses of the building The light can go out and there are no motion detectors inside of the storage units inside of the hallways leading all the way back to the entrance, I tripped on my stuff in the pitch black and then try to tell one of the people that work there who stared at me through a glass window and laughed at me after that as I was trying to move my stuff a very rude employee want to head and locked a door as I was trying to go through it and walked away saying she had a closet as I said it would’ve been nice to know before hand and she just mumbled something I probably didn’t want to hear. This is Sari is extremely extremely extremely dirty with trash all over the place mattresses slices of cheese broken plastic and sand lake debris from the asphalt thats deteriorating.

I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas. I was very upset and I am looking for other options to be out of ther before next month.
