I rented a truck with 1/4 fuel tank and I returned the truck on the same day after 25 miles of usage. They charged me $30.00 because I returned the truck with the gas tank lower than 1/4 gas. Why would they give us so little gas to begin with? I wonder why?
Antonio KoOnly one person appeared to be working the entire business. Long line. No one outside greeted me as I drove in. Past returns I was always greeted by someone working outside.

Plus the per mile rate was $0.50 higher than advertised on the website.

Inspected with a walk around and handed paperwork. Online termination location was texted and easy at an Oregon location. U Haul was a great first experience.

Jeff BurtonThe app is slow and locks up. I needs a lot of tech work. Also, I returned the truck with almost a half tank more than what I got it with and no credit was offered. That’s unacceptable. If a customer overfills the tank by a significant amount they should be credited.

Amanda WatsonI arrived before my appointment and attempted to use my app to pick up my 26ft truck. The app informed me that there is an issue with the equipment and to call 800 number. While on hold, i walked into the location and spoke to Calvin. Calvin informed me that there is no truck for me. He was non challant and non apologetic. First Calvin said that they only had two trucks (one was for a reservation made before me) ( the other one was out with a customer that is late returning it) i asked Calvin about the reason behind: 1- my being able to make a reservation for a truck that didn't exist. 2-the reason why i was not notified, prior to my arrival, by his location that there was not truck for me. Calvin kept saying "I'm not sure" again showing not concern or apologizing. A customer service representative answered the phone and stated that she will call the manager of the location. She then came back on the phone and said that "they" should have a truck for me. I explained to the customer service representative on the phone that they don't seem to want to help me. She stated that i should go back to the counter and speak to Calvin because he already has a truck for me. I went back to Calvin (he was looking down on his phone while sitting down and hiding behind register merchandise) he had the truck key in front of him. I asked him if he had a truck for me. He said "yes" i asked him (why didn't you come and let know that you had a truck for me? " He stated" i wanted to let you talk to customer service " Calvin proceeded to sign me up for the magic truck that appeared out of nowhere. He was very frustrated and kept rolling his eyes. No eye contact, no explanation and no apology from the man. He proceeded to state that i had to return the truck in 10 hours and not 24hrs. I didn't have a choice at that point. The truck engine was in really bad shape. It kept shaking and struggling to reach low speeds. I have rented many trucks from your company. This was the worst experience i have had.

gaby duranOver the course of a 18 months that I had a storage room at this location my overall experience was not bad. The reason I am selecting Below Average is the people that work in the office are a hit or miss. One of my family members also has a storage unit at this location, they upgraded their storage unit to a larger one and when they did that, the people working their front desk cancelled my unit because we share the same last name. I could not comprehend how a mistake like this was possible. Also, my specific storage unit had a lot of termites in the back corner, as I removed boxes on the last day I notified the folks working at the front desk. My hope is that whoever rents that unit next, doesn't have that same termite issue.

maureen BeckmanAfter picking up trailer I got a "before you leave" notification telling me I had to perform a critical vehicle inspection and it didn't let you do it unless you were AT THE FACILITY. I had just spent time with the U Haul employee paying attention to the proper hookup. Why didn't the employee tell me to do this critical inspection and hit the link in my notification? I wasn't sure if the insurance money I paid was wasted because I didn't do the inspection. Being on a tight schedule, I certainly wasn't going to drive all the way back to the facility.

Anthony BogartI had to go to the is location because my truck pickup was out of blankets. This is a main location and if you are counting miles like I was you will burn 4 to 10 in the same situation. My drop off location gave me back the 5 miles as I was at the first 30 that came with my rental. All in all it was at the end of the month and I got everything done.
Edward ReynoldsSort of false advertizing. Trailer was under sized... reserved a 4x7, was labeled 4x7 at pick up, was only 40 inches wide... considerably short of 48, almost failed to meet my need but luckily I was able to manage. Truth in advertising means return customers.
Tim McCallisterHave a bit more help. I had to wait quite awhile until the representative finished with the previous customer before I was helped. Upon the return it took more than usual to get checked out as well. Seemed to be short staffed. Otherwise I had a positive experience and will use your service again.

There was a line of six behind me( and I waited 20 min) because only one person to do it all. At 8 AM. And we all had reservations.

Also on the 1st floor you can consider those helpful carts ment to get you're stuff to the unit unless. To get to most of the bottom floor there is a step-down which makes the carts pointless.
