The ratchets for straps to tie down the front wheels on the transport trailers should be kept lubricated enough so they want be so hard to operate. Overall, the rental was awesome 👌.

All good except the 26 ft truck. I have had several uhaul trucks over the years. This one was the most uncomfortable, hardest riding, CONSTANTLY bouncing vehicle I have ever been in. I am just thankful I only had a short distance to go. It would have been impossible to have traveled a long distance. I say again—IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!

There was a single representative working when I picked up the trailer and an office full of customers. She was incredible. She waited on multiple customers and was able to process all transactions in a timely manner. Can't remember her name, but she's the on-site (living) manager. Very competent. She deserves a bonus.

Using online reservation system with DL upload and CC made the pickup process simple. Having the truck for 48 hours worked out well. Picked up Saturday noon, loaded, finished loading Sunday morning and drove about 300 miles Sunday to destination. Rested overnight, unloaded Monday morning, refilled gas (about 30 gallons) and turned in truck by noon. Truck was well maintained, clean and handled well at highway speeds in heavy rain. Overall, it was a good experience.

The storage container was dirty the unit was not secure at the top. anyone would be able to climb up and over into someone else’s container if they wanted too. The side gate was left open with no security.

Nice and well-kept storage facility. Good room to maneuver your vehicle and equipment around. There is a gate but I've never seen it closed, even after-hours. Seems like they are always under-staffed, but the folks are friendly and will help you whenever to get around. The biggest gripe with this location, there is a giant pothole in the middle of the entrance, very welcoming for an accident to happen and damage customer equipment.

Local facility was decent. Website was awful. Numerous problems making payments because even if you change billing info on the website, the address on file at the local facility was what is used as billing address. Even after info was changed on the website! Apparently company policy is only the local office can change your address. People use a storage facility when they move! Address information should be easier to update. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Well the first time I tried to get in after hours I could not, because they never setup my password, thereforeIhsd to takea driveto fix the issue. Also I set up for automatic payments due to their advice and lo and behold it was never set up, therefore my first payment was charged a late fee. I had to call to make sure it was set up. I was told they would wave the late fee, but it was not

Entrance to the units was always blocked with a large uhaul truck so always had to go around through the exit of the gates as the office staff was always unwilling to move the truck. Office always heavily smelled of Marijuana. One time I was there the man was upstairs screaming at someone, it could be heard fully what he was saying outside the building. Will never suggest this location ever. Makes me not ever want to rent from uhaul again.

Jayden Kessock is very good at his job and always extremely helpful. I have been renting from this facility long enough to be co-owner and the management at the Suffolk branch is always a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this place and this manager.

Easy to find, lots of storage units, good experience. Only complaints are the security gates were broken for the last two to three months and the entrance was blocked by trucks being returned on multiple visits to the unit. Hopefully they will fix this very soon.

They seem to have a robust U-Haul truck rental business. That is great. However, these trucks are often parked blocking the entrance AND the exits. They assert that this is just the way it is and force customers wanting the use the storage facility to wait. This is a poor business practice and is fixable if they had the will to do so. Furthermore, they should be eager to move the vehicles instead of acting like they are being inconvenienced.

Had to drive over an hour to pick up truck and all locations weren't convenient to drop off or pick up this was a complete nightmare rental. I had to change times on several occasions. I was told the drop off was Tuesday due to the inconvenience that wasn't true. My card was charged at the end for charges I didn't authorize nor agreed with due to the extra milage given wasn't shown on the check in computer at this location. This was an extremely difficult move considering all the equipment and locations weren't convenient to the address given. I also was told that $50 would be refunded to my card for the inconveniences that never took place either. A complete nightmare

I attempted to close the account three different times and the third time they said they closed the account and one month later said I accumulated late charges and that they were selling the empty unit. I refused to go through the hassle again and left it be but nothing of what I went through with u haul from renting equipment to renting a storage units from two different locations was simple or at all good. Never will go through this again, I’ll do anything other than this anything.

This Uhaul had identified a single unit available which I rented on the 25th but come to find out the unit was still occupied until the 1st of November. No other units available. This is extremely frustrating when you’re moving from out of town with a rented trailer. There is no light or working power outlets. What storage facility doesn’t carry bolt cutters?

When I rented a trailer, as a storage rental customer, the woman working there was rude and unhelpful. She could or would not help attach the trailer to the hitch and was rude and snarky. I left the facility for a néw storage business because of the poor service. Most of the staff appears unfriendly and indifferent.

When I first arrived, the storage was getting ready to close but Heather took the time to help me out. My code to enter the gated facility wasn’t working and I had to call Heather to help again get me in with my two helpers. Anyway, I appreciate her for going out of the way to help me out especially when she had to come back after hours.

First gave us a car carrier that was broken and when we returned it we had to go thirty miles away to pick up a different one. That carrier blew a tire in South Carolina and we had to sit on the shoulder of I95 for three hours until someone came and fixed it.
