Louis NI rent from this location alot I asked for the dolley to be removed & it was but the person that rented me to Truck didn't note it so I got charged $ 127.00 and I filled up the truck $ 30.00 and they told me I turned it back in less then when I left with it . I took pictures & have a receipt. I would like a reservation for this Saturday for 15 ft truck with a discount for my inconvenience & my bank still has not refunded my money that I was charged . also your check in system is a little difficult when your phone is not charged or the app doesn't work . Moving is very stressful and tiring Thank you

Daryl MThis was a horrible rental experience I have ever dealt with. My pickup location was changed. When I went to the new location Ricky told me my reservation was there any more. So he called someone. She told me I was to pickup on the 21st by 10:30am. I said no, the 22nd. She was rude and with attitude she said “ do you want to make a reservation or not?” Unfortunately I needed the trailer, so yes. Then I had to go to the Grissom location. They were nice. Then it was another problem dropping the trailer off. The 1st place closed before we got there and I told her we were on our way. The 2nd place flat out told us he didn’t want it, try another location. The 3rd location was a big help. Gave me the number I needed to call, and her dealer no. And was so nice and apologetic. My daughter needs to rent a trailer or truck and I told her to try a different place. My rental experience was terrible.

Brett JAbout what I would expect from renting a U-Haul. Truck smelled like straight weed. Like someone literally just hot boxed it before I picked it up. The smell longered for the full 24 hours that I had rented it for. It made me feel nauseous the entire time. I had to throw away my clothes bc the material had absorbed the smell.

She then tells me after confirming 30 mins ago my truck was there ready for pick up. She then admitted she messed up but was so rude and ended up charging me differently. For her mistake she was going to refund $50 and gave us a cargo van with unlimited miles bc I had to do multiple trips instead of one with the 10ft truck i had reserved. I get a collection noticed for almost $100! I dont recommend this location!

Linda MI had a great experience overall with the exception when i went to pick up a truck for my move out. The owner (as it stated on his name badge) was rude to the employees in front of customers and lacks both patience and customer service skills. He was the one to help me when i went to end my storage contract. He again was rude and lacked patience when he was helping an elderly man prior ro helping me.

bertha jThere is no signage indicating store hours. I arrived a little after 5pm. I could see all of the employees inside, but no one walked to the door or indicated to me that the office was closed. After 10 minutes, an employee finally walked over to the door and spoke to me through a small hole. He informed me that I needed to leave the equipment and finish the checkout online. I started the checkout, but there is a section indicating that a barcode needs to be scanned. I couldn’t locate that barcode. Was it on the building? A sign somewhere? Who knows!! There is no indication of where I should be scanning. If your employees are unwilling to provide assistance, please make it more convenient for the self checkout.

Not so good...manager became upset when I insisted on a receipt listing the authorized users names. He went back and forth about how it couldn't be done and when I verbalized how I thought corporate would sound in response to a claim filing he assumed I was making fun of (which I clearly wasn't)him and became very offended accusatory and cut me off like child (although I would consider that type of tone with a child inappropriate).He finally made contact with d66
Michelle SStraps were torn and worn out. Had to spend MY MONEY to fix 2 lights on the taillights. Tires needed to be aired up to proper specs. All of which I did on my own. When I returned the trailer, they insisted I go back it up to the proper location. I told them that I was required to drop it off at the drop off spot and not back it up wherever they wanted it. For all of this I request a $75 refund!

It was then raised $10 every year give or take 2 months I always received notices prior to rent increase until this year. I received no notice just a $10 increase on my bill. Notifications were always by email and when I questioned not getting notification on the last increase I was told they sent out notification by USPS. Either way I never received it and I feel it was not properly handled. Why change notifications when all business has been conducted electronically since day one. Rates are getting out of hand as it is.

That doesn't make any sense at all. So no, I don't ever plan on using U-Haul because you elevated your prices and they didn't have to be elevated.

The fact that it was almost a whole week and my lock still wasn’t removed and I had to break it myself is ridiculous. There’s been multiple issues with that topic of my payments and somehow there was always a communication issue within the staff. When i moved out, they were still trying to email me about my next payment. A week went by, and they were still contacting me about my payment, but when I went to check my unit one last time, they had it ready to go for the next person. So this whole staff sucks and they never answer the phone. I called to speak with someone about my move out process getting confirmed and they had me on hold for 30 minutes until i hung up. Horrible all around and I will never have a storage here again.

However there was an older gentleman that works there that came in during the process and interrupts me while I’m speaking and started barking orders to me and was extremely rude to me and the lady at the desk that was entering my information. Not only that but when I came to get my belongings I had things that are missing, such as my head boards of my bed frame, a frame for an outdoor swinging chair and two red husky bags bags that my work tools in them such as two Milwaukee drills a brand new porter cable jigsaw, circular saw, a porter cable light and porter cable sawsall and all my batteries! Approximately $500 worth of tools. Not to mention that Everything I had in the storage is now infested with roaches. I tried calling many times but no answer.

Above my unit was a hole in the ceiling (almost directly above my unit #5202) that leaked, and after time it got big. It smelled so bad, for a long time. One other thing was pesticide that dripped down in my unit and got on a box of clothes. The stain is still evident after I swept.

As I'm new and have never come after hours, I didn't know where the check in box was and just needed some directions to locate the check in box. But no reply to text or calls. Was stranded because the chair I want to put in storage was too big for my car and someone had helped dropped it off. That night was not good and very frustrating. I get its after hours but if you can't reply calls or messages, then please give to someone who can.

Some staff were very helpful and friendly, such as Steven Leyva and Ruben (can’t remember his last name but worked on Sunday 11/14/21 with Steven). Had an issue in my first unit; “making it right” seemed like an inconvenience to the GM and weekend manager rather than a customer service concern; it didn’t make me feel good when I was trying my best to be understanding, but they didn’t actually do anything wrong. I have no complaint about anyone or about the service or facility. I simply didn’t need the service any longer. If someone wanted a clean and very secure place for storing their things and had the budget for UHaul, I would recommend this location.

First a system error double-booked me for a uhaul and storage unit which took me an hour on the phone to have resolved. But most importantly, my storage unit reservation was apparently overbooked by 5 other people for the same unit, which left me without the proper sized storage unit once I got to the destination city. I had to go look for another unit at a third-party location and was not offered a solution or discount by uhaul. Not being reliable at the end of a giant move like this forces me to give them a 1 star review.

As a general rule, the "line" employees were always helpful and friendly. I interacted with two (2) managers during the timeframe - neither of whom displayed acceptable customer service skills. Both were - to say the least - abrupt. The first whose name escapes me appeared poorly trained and unconcerned. The second - Martin was just plain rude.

The facility was spotless and easy to navigate with my truck and trailer and the staff went above and beyond in customer service. I observed them working with other customers as well and they treated them as well as they treated me. These folks deserve a customer service award if you have one. It appeared to me that when we came in and rented a storage unit and tried to rent a truck, there were workers that were either too lazy to do anything, or had actually clocked out but were still in the building, in sight of customers. The manager was in such a rush that it was impossible for us to fully understand what was happening and retain the information being presented. The next day when i picked up the truck, it turned out that whereas I thought i had rented the truck, i had only reserved it. When I returned the truck, I waited fifteen minutes for someone to show up and check the truck in. No one ever did. When I went to the Installation Bay, the fellow there was borderline rude, but was clearly belligerent in issuing instructions for me to wait in the truck and someone would be right out. Well, first off, I have a high level of education and have worked professionally as someone who writes for a living. I had read the sign and remembered having been told when renting the truck to wait with the vehicle. However, there is a limit to waiting. After dealing with Grizzly Adams and his attitude, I returned to the truck, waited another fifteen minutes, and when still no one had shown up, I started toward the sales floor to ask again, just how long I was supposed to wait. This time, there was a fellow walking out toward the check-in area, and I asked him if he was the checkin person. He said yes, but then he listed off three or four other things he had to do before he could get to me. He said if i wanted, i could just leave the keys in the truck--which I did. However, I DID take videos of the truck interior and exterior as well as the instrument panel, gas gauge, mileage, etc. While this will not keep me from doing business with UHaul again, I will certainly take a book or laptop and movie with me next time.

You need customer service training. I couldn't stay there after my experience with him. The other employees were great, they just have poor leadership.

The guys were closing in less than half and hour but were so sweet and understanding told me not to worry! The young man showed me what I needed to get the job done faster.
