I am beginning to regret for using this facility. it is always an attack on the African American community. I have never seen anything like this before. I have seen at least 3 to 4 price increases recently. It starts to make me wonder if I am being targeted. It is quite offensive and unprofessional.

Deborah AI have had my storage with UHaul for over 30 years, you all were great until I had items stolen from me. You all were rude from your office on 65th street to Lilly, you know her last name. Told “my claim would be denied and to do whatever I needed to do” comments from Lilly herself. I tried calling the head office of course got the runaround. I am now at a new location will be promoting them on my social media page strongly. I am more disappointed than upset, once I cleared out my storage it was very disturbing there were 4 to five nice size rat holes, the wall was separating from the brick structure the box put in form rodents is the same one from when I got the unit 170, the light whomever illegally entered my storage from the adjoining one snatched the string out where I had no access to the light. I requested an FOI on that property there were so many calls to LRSD that it had to be put on a disc and you all had the nerve to not only deny my claim but be rude. WOW

They are very nice and helpful, but many times there is just one person working when there are several people waiting for assistance. I had to wait a little longer than I would like for my rental, but once I was helped, the employee was very helpful. She was just busy.

Sites should have the tires checked more frequently by trained professional to make sure tires, wheels, vehicles or whatever equipment is properly inspected and maintained. I do realize that things happen but should not be due to the result of non maintenance.

Walt PThey were easy to work with and I always felt safe within the facility and my stuff in storage was safe and secure. My only difficulty was getting a late fee refunded. My account was on auto pay but the credit card expired the same month that one of my children was murdered. I was in shock and grieving the loss of my son and was a month or two late noticing the account was past due. I requested a refund of the late fee(s) but they denied my request. Otherwise, no complaints.

Rickey PI am very disappointed in my over all experience with renting a 10 ft. truck from Hanna at this location. The check out process was fine and everything was explained fairly well and we were told that we would get about half of our deposit back however when I called before noon on the day the truck was due and asked how much it would be to keep it one more day due to the heavy rain in the area I was told it would be $22 dollars not double what I had originally paid. We rented the truck at 3pm on Friday and had it back by 10am on Sunday. I personally feel that if you are not using the truck for a full 24hrs there should be a different rate. we should also have received some kind of compensation for the fact that we asked for a appliance dolly when we made the reservation but when we picked up the truck we were told that all they had was a normal dolly.

The facility is always dirty, no one answers the phone even after returning a phone call and management act like there was never any experience or training when excepting the job. . Corporate needs to pay the facility a surprise visit.

It was 5 minutes til Uhaul closed, so I called Steven, who told me he would close the store and call me to come unlock it. We waited outside for an hour in 100 degree heat and HE NEVER CALLED OR SHOWED UP!!

Mine was one of the units affected. Estimated loss of theft and damaged goods, $1000. Therefore, I am content with finally moving my remaining possessions into another storage facility.

frances jWas denied access to my indoor unit one day. Attendant and her managers were unable to find out how to open the automatic door. I wasted an hour before I gave up. The door to the unit itself was on a damaged hinge. It took finesse to open and close, but eventually the hinge simply fell apart, leaving the door unable to be closed at all. Even when working somewhat properly, the door opened the wrong direction. If open it blocked half of the automatic door, leaving me only half a doorway's width to get everything in and out.

I had my storage there for a month prior to the notification of my unit “missing a lock” so my unit could’ve been broken into a few days after I moved my items in, nobody knows. I was very disappointed because I’m a college student and I had most of my dorm items there and now they’re gone.

I had a moving company that brought my personal items to the storage. The moving company had words with the Store Manager. She was very rude to the point the moving company called their boss. 2. The General manager than told me that i hired a ghetto moving company???? 3. I only had a storage while my home was being painted for a few weeks. With in those weeks it rained, and I open my storage just too see water damage. I had homeowners insurance so i decline the storage insurance. 4. Told the manager what happen there was no apology no anything. They didn't offer me another storage. I told them I was not going to move the damage property and was there anything they could do to help. RUDE AS RUDE. she didn't offer any customer service told me if i didn't move my items i would be charge for a storage that was leaking !!! then told me if they remove my damage property which was 2 mattresses, she would charge me the junk fee. I called customer service, and they told me that there was NOTHING they could do!!!!! NOT ONE person offered to help me move my items to a new storage room. BEYOND CRAZY to think I will pay for the same storage room that cause me damage to my personal belongings. 5. i plan to go to the better business bureau. I am unsure how this store passed inspection. .There are signs stating they did!! when they have leaks in their buildings. 6. I also plan to contact the attorney general office for horrible customer service and expectations of wanting someone to pay for damage storage unit. 7. I plan to put this review on FB and every social media platform!!!! If I have the energy and time, I will do this weekly! I pray no one spends their hard earn money on a company who could care less about your belongings; about your experience and about the stress levels of dealing with insurance companies. they simply don't care about YOU, the people who keep them in business!

Before I leased my truck I had already secured a unit from a another facility only to find out what I leased was not I was lead to believe it was. This cost me a whole day that I couldn't afford. But after remember that U-Haul had storage buildings close by, my call was taken, my reservation made and the morning I was in my unit. Thanks guys

I moved out on Feb. 22, 2023 not the 27th after renting there for 12 years . I will never use or rent from uhaul again!! After paying a settlement fee and moving out, She sent me two more bills two days in a row, steadily increasing the balance. The account is closed!!! Unbelievable! She kept us locked in the gate unable to leave the property for 30 minutes and then rolled her eyes at us! She should be fired.The missing of payments that started this mess was due to uhaul not putting my new card on auto pay as I requested. Then tacking on so many fees with no desire to find a solution , caused me to leave after all those years.

I let her know that we were not going to actually move in until 7/30. When we came on 7/28 our unit was sold to another family and my code was not active. They had double sold my unit and did not let us know. We came back 7/29 and spoke with Shanell. She fixed the issue but it still was a HUGE inconvenience for this reason I will Never refer U-Haul to another sole. I give this place a -0 as a score. Service was ok but communication was horrible

Yogesh P | First ImpressionsTo whom it may concern; I Tar-Easha Hood called Uhaul on Wednesday, July 14 2022 to reserve a Uhaul and Storage building for Thursday , July 14 2022 at the Kanis location for pickup @ 8:00 AM. I spoke with Courtney, the Customer Service Representive, and she told me that I would get a month of free storage. Once I arrived to the Kanis location, I spoke with Christopher York, the General Manager of the Kanis location. Christopher told me that the way it was setup, didn't guarantee that I would get a month of storage free. Christopher tried to redo the information, but the system wouldn't allow him to do it. When I realized that the Customer Service Representive didn't book the Uhaul or Storage Building correctly, Christopher did a discount on the Uhaul since he wasn't able to correct the information in the system. Because of this error, this delayed my schedule of getting my things moved. I then, had to go to the Colonel Glenn location to get the Storage Building, since this location didn't have a 3 room storage building. When I arrived at the Colonel Glenn location, the storage building was locked and I was told by Patricia that I had to wait until Friday July 15 2022. Once I got there on July 15th by noon, the Storage Building was still locked. I was told by the Supervisor on duty at the Colonel Glenn location, that the Building had been unlocked since 8:00 AM, but that was a lie. She was very rude and unprofessional and stated that what I was talking about was irrelevant. I told her that what I was saying was very relevant, as I am the customer. Since there was an issue with the Uhaul and Storage the previous day, this created an extra charge and extra mileage because the Uhaul wasn't turned back in by 8:00 AM on July 14th. Please issue a credit back for the extra charge for the Uhaul and mileage due to the issues with the reservation. Thank you, Tar-Easha Hood

The next day, when I came to check in, they couldn't find a record of what I paid for: I had to show them a screenshot. I had to argue that I already purchased the lock. I left and my friends moved the stuff in. I couldn't understand why they seemed so agitated. Turns out we were given a climate controlled unit (which costs more) which was inside, around a corner and down a long hall. And I was charged for the climate controlled unit. Just the other day we went back to empty the unit after they charged a $30 late fee for forgetting over the weekend. And they sent an invoice for that, but not for all the other times I paid. Turns out, our unit was broken into a burglarized. I got NO, I repeat NO NOTIFICATION about this. Some very important things were missing. The entire experience was horrible and they were very unprofessional. The place was obviously not secure. They give you key cards to get in, but the gates are always open. If you forget to swipe your card an alarm goes off.. NO ONE checks on that. It was horrible. I will never use u haul again for storage.

He directed me to another location who had what I needed! He went the EXTRA MILE working with the agent at the I-30 location to refund my rental immediately. Terrance Miller at the 9302 I-30 location was Outstanding!! He worked Extra Hard to get my 1st rental refunded and provided EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Very very professional! What a GREAT experience.
