Arwah AHad reserved a truck for mobile pickup before location opened. Truck was not set up for mobile pickup so had to wait an hour for location to open. Only for this location open an hour late. The man who came in on his day off deserves a raise but very dissapoint Ed as I had to pay my movers an extra $150 for more time as I got the truck 2.5 hours after I was supposed to.

My card was charged and U-Haul moving could not help. Said they never received my order and I had to wait for the charge to fall off. I was told I probably typed in the wrong zip code (which I didn’t). After booking I was taken to a page saying everything was set. Then I had to pay $600 for last minute movers that could only load the truck (3hrs after it was planned) that evening and next day it rained and had no way of unloading truck. Store was not helpful about me extending truck rental. I was placed on hold for 20minutes multiple times to be told the truck had to be back at a certain time to depart out of state. Then I was instructed to call corporate. I am out over $1000 after booking with U-Haul for $290 originally. I am very upset and would like to be contacted about this situation.

Kevin AStaff exceptionally unhelpful and most of the time did not know what was going on. I had a random lock put on my unit which staff lost the keys to and took months to find. When moving out, I reserved a truck and had to go to an entirely difficult location because they lost the keys to the truck. Most staff was very rude during almost every interaction. There were dead roaches everywhere and mice traps. Not to mention they never once answered the phone in my 2 years of using that facility. Worst storage facility around.

While otherwise I have no complaints I won't recommend this location. I paid for all the security which amounted to nothing.

I spoke to the manager about this, and he didn’t care. It took me 2 hours to pick up the vehicle, because they decided at the last minute to rent this one to me… and it was buried in their lot. Then the ride, for over 200 miles, was hell. I do not recommend this store, because they do not care about their customers! I spent almost $400, and was refunded only $172… not even half, for my inconvenience. Neither did he apologize. He was very defensive. The mgr named “Junior” has very poor customer service and he’s rude. Beware!!

Cristina SIf you need insurance to rent, it should say so in the online check in. Learning that I needed to provide my policy number made my check in experience longer than it should've been. In the check in the reps kept referencing insurance & were pointing to a list of things I needed to rent. The list didn't include insurance. Very silly. My van's radio console didn't work. I couldn't see the station, time, etc. I wish you offered a short term rental that isn't based on miles. I drove 40 miles in 2.5 hours, $50. Wish it could be $20 an hour for short term under 3 or 5 hours. No one was there to check in my van. So I again, had to wait in line to return the vehicle.

Josieanette Pas i am just getting started driving-- just got on highway getting used to driving a new vehicle--a big 20' box van truck (very different from my tiny sonata), i got a text. i could have ignored it b/c i was driving, but the text kept buzzing in my front pants pocket. i struggled to get the phone out of my pocket to see if the text was an emergency. the text was from uhaul telling me how to check the truck back in. uhaul app texting me when it knows i am getting used to driving an unfamiliar truck (b/c i just checked out minutes earlier) seems a bit irresponsible to my safety

No truck was available,all because of wrong information told by customer service person working the desk when we went to pay fo r reservations. We had boxes ordered,she insisted we didn't and didn't give them to my son; my older son went back in to get them. I have several charges on my bank account that I have no idea what they're for from the night we picked up the truck. When we went to the Uhaul to drop off our belongings in storage unit my boys were there almost 4 hours because there was a family of 13 people and all their kids were playing on the elevator,tying it up. It took an hour to load the truck,we live less than 5 minutes away so there's no reason why they were there so long other than bs.They were blocked in the parking lot. Only two loading docks are open. I'd never use Uhaul again

This storage has roaches, one of the most horrible experience I've every had to deal with at this location. I did a self check out when I moved my stuff out of storage got an email confirmation and days later they send another email saying I'm late on my payment and I don't have anything in the unit left it clean just like I found. The only pleasant about the experience were the first two people I dealt with a young women and young man I don't remember their names but other than those 2 everything else was horrible. Just like it says I moved out on 10/3 I didn't I moved out on 9/29

I lost 11 pairs of Converse in the box. I lose 3 pairs of Sketchers. My personal information - Social Security Card, birth certificate, Personal data. I never received Free months I was locked out of my storage Fourth of July weekend accused of sleeping in storage a lie.. Chris Sander and Angie Yvonne Sanders of Louisville Kentucky stole swipe card and keys,- Louisville Kentucky Police Report. Allison Wallace tried to pretend I was Homeless Drug Addict with no creditable sleeping in the unit. A lie.. My storage unit was broken into. I went to Mayfield UHaul Storage and rented a truck because I know they Clark was going to keep doing nasty things,they thought I would be stupid enough to rent a truck to move my belongings from them. I was not. Get to Southern Indiana Storage and was able to honestly repack and itemized an assessment of my losses. To me Scott Regional manager covered for Allison Wallace, and I do have pictures and arlo camera footage. of Clark UHaul Storage employee talking to the Sanders. Louisville Kentucky meet Cleveland Ohio. . I am going to write a detailed report for Corporate UHaul in Arizona.. Which is fine but the steps are horrible and does not want to roll easily. I had to literally drag it to my unit due to the wheels don’t work. Other then that it was great

She made my whole move in to the storage unit so seamless. Took the extra effort to walk us down to the unit to show us around and gave me another unit that was not as far to walk to when she realized there was another one open without me even asking . She gave me her personal number to call her if I needed anything and got me refunded an amount that I was incorrectly billed by one of the other workers in just a few hrs. All of this while on her day off. We are super impressed by her . Great to know that they have a responsible, efficient ,and caring manager who can get the job done!

No help with online access or getting corporate on the phone. Asked several times for the store manager to call me to get due dates changed he never did. Which several times resulted in late payment n being charged a late fee. The store office is always gloomy and not enough lights on are they vampires? Excessive fees during a pandemic when I been renting the one unit for over a year no issues until this new management took over at the Clark location. Crazy thing is too i brought that location 3 other customers 2 whom still have paid rentals there.

SHIRLEY C | Overall ExperienceMy reason for not being satisfied is based on the manger who stole our money, She informed us that paying on cash, she could not charge us the taxes and give a discount on labor for insulation, she said her boyfriend does all installments for the hitch and bike racks. She said we moved out when we actually didn't then put our storage unit in someone else name. She was supposed to install a bike hitch on my vehicle and was paid to do so. But gave us the run around and as of this day 07/11/21 it still hasn't been done. I've asked the staff to have the GM give me a call and guess what, He hasn't called me either. If I'm not mistaken his name is Tim/Tom at least that's what I was told when I came over to the store when I found out that the manger had been fired. So no I wouldn't recommend anyone storing at this location. Uhaul don't want to be responsible for me getting my money back or service that was already paid upfront to their manager. They have refused to call me back let known apologize for the misrepresentation of an employee that they hired in my eyes rip people off while they still collect out money. As a customer why am I chasing U-Haul to resolve this issue. They are aware of what was going on and did nothing to help us,
Tonya B | Overall ExperienceI made my reservation online. When I came to pick up the truck, I had a hard time finding my truck, so I was driving around slowly to find it. As I was driving around slowly a short white woman with a raspy voice appeared at my car window and said “what are you doing?!” She really scared me. I told her what I was doing, and noticed she had a U-Haul shirt on. At first she said “the truck is not here… “ I think she walked off at that time… I didn’t know what to do, so I kept driving around slowly to find a truck, because the app said The truck was there. She popped up again beside the car and said “the truck is the last one down there. “ I drove to the truck, parked in front of the truck, and started taking things out of my car to put in the truck. She appeared again and said something really quickly: I heard her say “… Click that you got the keys… “She quickly walked off. I kept taking items out of my car. That lady appeared again with the keys, and she left. I never saw her again. I arrived later than expected, and it took me longer than expected to put the items in the U-Haul, so I called the UHaul 800 number, and eventually ended up talking to that woman (I didn’t expect that: her voice is very distinct: I asked if it was her, to verify and she said it was). I asked her if I could extend my time (I 1st thought I only needed The truck for four hours). She said that technically, I had the truck for 24 hours, “so when you drop off the U-Haul, just make sure you drop it off within 24 hours of the time that you originally signed up for the truck.”) I decided to keep the truck for an additional day, so I called the 800 number to change the reservation. When I called, the customer service rep stated there was no record of me having the truck, and that I had canceled the reservation! I had also made arrangements originally to use a storage space at that site. When I came to drop off the truck, it was closed! No one had told me what time the office closed. Fortunately the female Security Guard was there, and was very helpful. I simply left the U-Haul truck where I originally parked it (in front of the propane tank area). The next day, that little white lady and a young man (thin, light brown) were at the desk. They both became quite agitated when I arrived (I arrived about 5-10 minutes before closing) The woman stated that they had to close in two minutes, and there wasn’t much she could do. I told her that I had a truck full of furniture, and needed access to the storage space. She became even more agitated: “what’s the number of your storage space? “ I told her I never received a storage space number. She started moving even faster, and said something like “I don’t have a space… I have something on the third floor… “ I told her that I would take whatever she had, because I needed something to put the furniture in. She had the young man create a contract, he told me my Storage unit number, gave me a card to check in, and quickly told me about checking in and checking out.… Very quickly… When I walked over to access the storage space, I didn’t know what door to go into. So I walked back over to the desk: the young guy was walking away, and never looked up to help me.It was obvious he did not want to talk to me. I roamed around the storage spaces… I was not given a map… I eventually found the space, and it was a space off the ground! It had a plastic green drawstring thing in place of the locker… There was no lock… I noticed all The other locks looked the same… No one discussed anything about the U-Haul locks (I have never rented storage space from U-Haul before). I called the next day, and spoke with someone on the phone (I Think it was José). He was very nice, and asked me if I wanted them to move the truck in the bay area. I told him yes. I Think I also told him that I needed a new storage space. Once again, I had arrived just before closing time (I work in Midtown every day, and cannot leave any sooner than I did). I was given a new storage space: 3229. When I went up to access the storage space, 3229 had a lock like all the other storage spaces, and a small red padlock above that one. I was totally confused, and went back down to the front desk. Once again, everyone was gone. The African-American gentleman that works outside was very kind… he wasn’t able to help me, but allowed me to talk through all of my frustrations and made me feel better. The rest of the details are fuzzy… I remember trying to call U-Haul through the 800 number again: I was on hold for very long periods of time. I was trying to call during work, and could not stop working, so I would have to hang up and try again later. I eventually got in touch with Michael, who offered a storage space for 30 days for free (which was my original agreement online). I got the lock Friday, and Moved my items in Sat
