Very happy with service and procedures .
Chad CCheck-out was fine. Car tow dolly wheels badly unbalanced. Service guy helped load car in Milwaukee, Capitol Drive, then said there was a CASH TIP of $25 dollars REQUIRED!!! We thought this was very strange but paid it since we were in a hurry. Upon returning the dolly when finished the guy at U-haul in Bangor, ME indicated that this was not true. BEWARE IN MILWAUKEE, CAPITOL DRIVE, THERE IS A GUY THERE SCAMMING CUSTOMERS FOR CASH TIPS!!!

Keyon JI have rented from this location several times. The staff is friendly and efficient. The only future issue for me may be that the couplers on the newer trailers have hooks on the safety chains that are too large for the Subaru hitch installed on my vehicle. They had older trailers that have smaller hooks, but my fear is that once those are retired, I will have no viable options @ U-Haul.

Everlyn SAfter truck is turned in and uhaul rental billing is finalized the uhaul computer system sends 3 receipts to my email with the same information. just one emailed receipt will do otherwise u have a good product it would excellent if mileage was 49 cents a mile
Vaughn MMake sure that the print out for the miles and gas for the truck matches what you print out for the customer. The mileage on the sheet said 131k miles, but the actual truck had 133k miles. The self check in and check out had the right info, but the actual printout from the worker was wrong.
Fonte GI was in dire need of a truck. These people are so unbelievably so helpful I was overwhelmed with the amount of kindness they showed me. When ever I need a truck at the last minute they are always going to be the people I trust. I can’t say enough about this company. A++

STEPHEN LCheck to make sure all of the accessories and knobs work inside of the cabin. The heat knob needs attention on the fleet I had. The doors have a hard time closing as well.

PEGGY OGet a whole new crew including the manager. First they give me a vehicle good had no gas in the check engine light was on. So they switched it for a different one after giving me a hassle. Then when I took it back I Was told by an employee that they would check me in. That didn't happen I got charged everyday even though I returned the van the same day only had it for about 6 hours . Wouldn't ever go there & will definitely tell anyone that will listen not to ever go there customer service is very bad vehicles are dirty disorganized they don't know what they're doing.
William FOverall my experience was positive. The attendants and staff were professional and took great care of me. My only concern, which I brought to the attention of the attendant when returning the truck, was a faulty ramp on the back of the 15' truck I rented. Instead of remaining securely attached to the truck, my movers indicated it fell off and onto the road at the start of my move. This in turn caused some delays in the loading and unloading process because the movers had to manually adjust the ramp to get it back inside the rear of the truck. A future repair is needed.

Stephen PMichael did a great job installing my hitch. He was super friendly, very upbeat, he worked fast, and he made the whole experience easy. I would recommend Michael and the location to anyone interested in a hitch. The staff there all were friendly - It would be great if UHaul would give the location a bit of a polish (very worn floors, feels like it hasn't been updated in a long time) to make the location feel nicer for its employees and its customers.
susan BNot sure if I would recommend. I periodically rent a van to pick up food baskets for our food pantry. Christmas was hectic. Customers were upset, staff overwhelmed. I didn't have a credit card with me and had to leave and return. I was on a schedule to complete my pickup, and this put me behind. So, this time I decided to check in online. Retrieving the van on (3/19 at noon) went smoothly with only one hiccup. The van was not accessible, so nice young changed my contract to one that was not blocked in. I returned the van around 2pm on the same day. Printing my receipt would have taken a while so I told the clerk an email would suffice. I checked online and saw that the website did not have the van listed as checked in. I called the office and was told that they have the keys, and the van had not been checked in yet, and that I would receive an email soon. Well, it's now almost 1am the next day and the email hasn't arrived yet. I think this office still needs additional help.

lawanda kHad to switch. trucks. The driver side view mirror on first was flopping all around. Second truck, gas level incorrect. I felt bad having to go back inside twice and bothering the counter staff when the are already so busy.
JAMES FWe were asked to drive about 50 miles to grab a truck that was needed from this location. The local office made it worthwhile and took some stress out of the overall experience in the end. Arrived and was in and out in no time.

Ronald TPlease have the equipment that a person needs once they come pick up the u haul because after making a reservation over the phone and then once we got there the dolly wasn’t available. Also if someone can clean the U haul out because we had to wipe down knobs, steering wheel and other parts of the U haul it was very dirty inside on different parts of the U haul.

Travis OThe location was great and the two rentals I did in person were fantastic - easy to use. However, I attempted to rent an after hours truck - the lockbox was frozen (understandable - it's freezing temps here). I used the online check in system. I clicked that I did not find the keys and messaged customer service that I was unable to locate the keys / do the rental. When I went in person to rent the vehicle I found out that U-Haul said not only that I was able to rent the vehicle but also that I did not return it when in fact it never left the lot and I was not able to rent it.
Elyse TConsidering I ordered a Uhaul 2 minutes from where I was cleaning out a house I was not happy to go to 5th and Capitol. Had to drive thru some pretty sketchy neighborhoods and take one plus hours to pick up and get back to where I was cleaning out a house.

Shamani SMan at the counter was not welcoming. I've never done this before and I selected the mobile pick up. The instructions told me to go inside to get the keys. I walk up to the man behind the counter and said I needed the keys for one of the trucks. He just looked at me like I was stupid. Like I've done this before. It was a good 5 seconds before he said, "IDK what truck". Sure I guess I didn't say it, but a simple, "For which truck?" Would've been niced than that response. He gave me the keys and said, "If you did the mobile, it would've directed you to the black box and this interaction didn't need to happen." What does that suppose to mean? Is this interaction illegal?! The app also told me to held inside, no black box instructions whatsoever. Anyways, just grabbed the keys and left already 30 minutes late. Had to extend which was okay. Also, the map sends you to the back of the place. Wasn't sure what I was looking for but the tow truck company behind uhual told us to leave which I understand. I just didn't know why it sent us there in the first place. Another is, our dolly and our furniture pads weren't in the truck which I would assume. If not, I didn't see any instructions to get it myself. The process to do a mobile pick up was so long it shouldn't even be an option. Just walk in instead. Gas was confusing. I didn't know how much I should leave in it. More than before? If it's at half tank, make sure to bring it back with half tank or more? Couldn't find it in the contract. I will rent again, but boy was it a headache.

Than when I complained about her mistake she refused to give me another unit at another place because they in fact did not have the actual space there. So my mover had to reload all the stuff and I was left without anywhere to put my belongings. Of course I was upset I just believe she was totally at fault and should have corrected her mistake. I called and stated I did not want the climate controlled upgrade. Staff said they documented my refusal to upgrade. I received bill charged at increased rate for upgrade. Multiple attempts to reach manger unsuccessful. No one could find any documentation of my call to refuse upgrade. So after four years of storing I cleared out my storage and would look for another option in the future if needed.
