RAYDEL MYou all need to explain to the customer how the insurance goes and let them know. If you do not take the insurance. You cannot use the roadside assistant. If you do use it you don’t have to pay at your pocket. Do a better job explaining to the customer.

James DWhen I came in to check out, there was no phone service, no internet service, I lost more than an hour to get my truck out of there! The agent was rude, and not very nice, nor friendly! I was not told or showed where the truck was, therefore I had to look around for it, and got on a wrong truck which was without a key! The truck was almost empty@ I was lucky to notice that it was almost out of gas in the middle of the freeway! When I returned the car the next day, there was still no phone service, no internet service, and the computer system was still down! The agent this time was not rude, but was not nice, not friendly either! I had a terrible experience here during both check-in and check-out time. I would give this store a score of 1 out of 10. Sincerely and Respectfully yours.

Larry SI know I mistakenly didn’t lock my storage uni properly one night, which made my road bike to be stolen from my unit. Despite informing the staff of the facility who were helpful to look into the camera, they couldn’t provide me any footage to know who stole my bike, if the bike was taken out, or if it was taken to another unit.

TERRANCE GVery courteous and down-to-earth personnel at the Beltway 8 location near Airport on the SW side. Upon the initial aspect of receiving service, one may have many questions of which can expect real and honest answers from them(U-Haul personnel). Money is the way of the world, but they value respect more than anything else. With respect earns Great Service with them.
Bobby AI was told that they were giving me a complimentary 20 miles above what was already available. Turns out they gave me a total of 20 miles. And then charged me for the higher amount. Then they charge me the per mile amount on top of that for having gone 9 miles over. Very scammy. Also they gave me a truck which had headlights that were out. So I ended up having to drive with brights the whole time (at night).
Ray TAfter that terrible service at the bissonnet and beechnut location, the 11300 location was amazing!!!! We will not use any other location going forward.

I didn't get a call until the day of that the reservation was overbooked and the truck that I reserved was not available and as you figured I was upset and let the manager know. However I was still only able to get a van which was very inconvenient as far a getting in and out of the van.

Whoever built this location installed an elevator that is always having issues, which isnt convenient for disabled people. This location is fairly new and deserves better. This isn't a complaint to the location itself as they continue to have it serviced & have been phenomenal to work with. Corporate, please give them the resources they need to take care of that.

We were very upset about the flood because we lost irreplaceable items but we understood that it was the staffs fault or Uhaul’s fault. But they inventoried all all of belongings moved us to a unit upstairs and when we made it up there to see the damages they where very pro active in seeing that all there customers where taken care, even patiently dealing with the rude ones. I was impressed with they way they handled that situation. ( I paid for the insurance so we where reimbursed but we lost a lot of cool books). I don’t remember any ones names but for everyone that worked there between July 21-March 22 y’all where A1 in my book and my wife and I thank you for your excellent customer service

We took advantage of getting the one month free storage unit because we needed somewhere to store our things and when got to the facility in south Stafford (to be specific) they had given up our storage unit, that we rightfully reserved and when we tried to see if they had anything else available they told us they didn’t. The employees that work there were completely incompetent they knew gave up my locker but were beating around the bush until after I got off the phone with the manager. (She goes by Mrs. D) she told me she had found another facility that had the storage locker that we needed which was 9 minutes away however I find it disappointing that this particular place conducts business like that. I will never be using that place or recommending anyone to this place.

Also they were giving me an extra day & according to the Staff at Mesa Rd., all of that wasn't Noted towards my Acct. That meant I had to pay an extra $400 for Movers because the original Movers weren't available to Move me a day earlier & that's not fair qhat U-haul did to me. In the end, my kids helped to Move me, ask the Staff at the Storage location. It took us forever...late, but overall everything was well until i got to the Auto Transport. Being a "gentle" female, I sisnr quite understand the "hookup" for my Vehicle. I didn't feel comfortable about the connection so I didn't Transport my Vehicle, so I rented it for nothing. However, allll the we Staff Members at Mesa Rd U-haul & 11300 S. Sam Houston Parkway were EXCELLENT...KUDDOS & THANKS to all.

KYLE H | Overall ExperienceAs stated on contract I moved in on the 31st but was first given payment due date of the 29th. I told the lady that wasn’t fair as my move in date was the 31st. She then changed it to the 30th but I’ll still be paying a day earlier due to the fact that I moved in on the 31st. And I wasn’t offered anything to change date to the 1St. I get paid on the 1st of the month. Just don’t think it’s FAIR!

I found out when I called on Jan 29 & was told the U-boxes were there for a week & were ready to be moved to the long term storage facility. I was informed when the boxes shipped, but what happened to notification of arrival? Failure on the part of U-Haul.

I was able to get the storage I needed and rent a truck without breaking the bank. If anyone needs a storage or rent a uhaul truck, please use this location. Thanks

Even though online showed my 1st month to be free. Also due to lack of air conditioning i had to get a non climate unit which was less than the one on hold for me. Also i still dont have access to my unit. Cuz the staff did not know how to issue it correctly. And i havent been able to get bsck up there due to my work. Cuz i did inform staff , due to yhe difficulties in completing my rental. It was no issue to return the next day. But again unforeseen issues with my job has prevented mecto return. So overall below avg, but the staff was very polite. So i will return, just dont know when.
