I didn't know cussing and discussing your weed habit was the new U-Haul customer service protocol. March 19th 9am proved to be hard not to walk out of renting anything. I closed my eyes and was telling myself I have to move. Never again will I go to this location.

The trucks need maintenance. I was charged 3 times for my rental…needed a 26” even with a reservation, no truck. Ended up with a 20”…wasn’t happy, but I had no other choice because I had to move. I really like the staff there which is why I always go back there. Even if they’re out the way.

Everything was equipped as needed I didn’t even need the dolly per say, however there were a hole in the roof of the 15’ bed box truck it leaked onto my property in the truck there was an additional hole (so 2) they sent roadside for one after that the next morning I discovered another hole/leak towards the front bed of the box truck, they charged me for gas even tho the truck came dam near empty so I sent it back the same way🤷🏽‍♂️. They don’t inspect there truck before sending them off which causes people to have complaints about damaged property. They should work on that!. Other than that I used the truck for what I needed an that was all. Over the phone customer assistance and roadside have good customer service in my pov.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, however I couldn't get the mobile checking app to work (it wouldn't recognize the location despite checking and updating my phone location preferences). I ended up having to check in in person. We were also sent the link to submit the vehicle status and couldn't get past the first screen where it had us confirm the license plate (the Continue button wouldn't change to a submittable link). The staff ended up having to come out to our vehicle to do a manual check. This all delayed us almost 20 minutes which ate into our overall rental time as we had to have the truck back by 10am. Very frustrating - technology fail.

The lock on the rear was missing a piece. The latched opened with in transportation causes the rear door to open while moving. I notified staff upon return and he saw the issue. He stated a Manger will call and the invoice would remain open until then. No one called and I was charged. Still waiting for a manager.

Firt of all the ,windshield wasn't clean and also the cabin was too dirty. The tire was slightly punctured and needed usual refill of air. The gas level wasn't the amount indicated in the paperwork. The cleaning fee was way too high for the poor level of maintenance. Drivewise, the car wasn't aligned and was a horrible driving experience. I don't recommend anyone to get this service.

I had an excellent experience my time there. The staff was professional and helpful. My one complaint is that I actually brought the equipment I used back earlier than expected but the young man told me I would not get a refund for my unused time because U-Haul charges for the day and not the time. If I would've brought the equipment back later, than U-Haul would've charged me extra money for being later but no refund for being an hour early.

Avoid this location at all cost. I thought it would be an ok place to go given my other U-Haul experiences. I asked the worker if there was anything I should know about returning the trailer after hours. He said just drop it off here or over there in the parking lot. This is what I normally do with rented trailers. To my absolute shock, they charged me a 20 dollar after hour drop off because I had to do something on a smart phone. I don't own a smart phone. I had to borrow a friends to do check in. He wasn't there when I dropped it off. Which is crazy if you think about it. Even if I knew, I wouldn't have been able to check out. And then they tried to charge me for an extra day?!? Like what? I had to call them back and ask them what's up. They did drop the extra day. But still charged me a $20 fee. I'm NEVER coming back to this location. This place is messy. A motorcycle trailer came messy with yard waste in it. Their yard is unorganized. I learned my $20 lesson in not coming back here ever. I hope you take this free piece of advice, do business somewhere else its worth it. There are plenty of other U-Haul locations and they are nicer in every way.

Our reservation was changed causing significant delays in our moving plans. On site staff was very nice but the location is horrendously laid out and extremely difficult, practically impossible to navigate … no apologies or recompense has been offered to deal with the extensive issues we had with both rentals. Return location was not well signed or staffed at all.

This experience was not good at all. Trucks at this location are not up to working conditions. Employees states that this location has had thift of the catalytic conver. My rental truck overheated and broke down. I had to catch an uber to get another truck. I know things happen however this ened up costing me double and was not worth it at all.

when a customer selects “NO” online to SafeMove.. then arrives for counter service-when the Mgr asks if you want it - you say NO - we have GEICO.. then when u sign the contract and notices the Mgr CHARGED u for SaveMove because of them moving so fast and not being detailed oriented- we have a major communications breakdown!!

I booked my storage unit on Thursday prior to my move from NC on Saturday, when I arrived at the U-Haul facility they were closing however one young guy still provided me assistance and he is the only reason I did not give on star. No one reached out to me regarding my arrangements and took it upon themselves to rent the storage unit I had reserved to another walk-in customer, and was give a unit that was the size of a tall hall closet that had an obstruction in it so that made it even smaller (unit 1120), when I reserved a unit to accommodate a 1-2 bdrm apt. I read the specifics to not confused things only to be told that “Tony” gave away my unit. So when u had help on Sunday, now is turning into I have to find some help on a Monday because now everyone will be working, or find another storage facility and hopefully it will be close by to not incur any additional charges. This is by far the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have ever had with U-Haul. I may leave another message on tomorrow after I speak with management if they think they about to charge me for additional mileage or a extra day because I now have to find someone to help me during the week and everyone works during the day. Whoever Tony is needs to come unload this truck.

This storage factory has a mice issue. There was an obscene amount of rat/mice feces when I went to clean out my storage. It was so awful I was anxious about loading the things into my car. There was only one person working the front desk and a line of people. Two others showed up, and took their time logging in to help. They no longer have a share area (this is notated by a tiny note taped to a board full of words- I barely saw it), and also gave incorrect information on how to dispose of unwanted items. I drove over 12 hours to retrieve my items. I arrived on about 3hours asleep. No one in the office was helpful on how to handle the issue and they didn’t have a dumpster or area for disposing items. I took me about 1 and a half hours to figure out what to do so I could get back on the road for 12+ hours back home.

I bought some brand new furniture and stored my furniture in the storage unit until i got a house. Got the house and was excited because i knew i had good and new furniture in the storage unit. I went the the storage unit and found rodent feces everywhere! Everything was damaged, chewed, torn, had yellow/discolored staining or had rat poop on it . Dead bugs were found and there was even a dead animal in there. This was heartbreaking and a HUGE waste of my time and money. Hopefully I’m compensated properly to replace what was lost.

Rented for almost a year. Rat poop in my belongings. Unauthorized charges on my account. Raised rent after only a month being there. You’ll never get an actual person from the store on the phone …it is always directed to customer service but they are helpful. Do not rent a locker at this place !

I don't do stairs well because of arthritis so when showing me the unit I had to do stairs to get to my area, so a little inconvenient for me. Once inside building on the main floor very convenient to get to.. Place very clean. Inside, right size for my needs. Lots of space for things I needed to place there. Anything you needed to move into your storage area was right there.

The Employees were Very friendly and helpful however, The U-Haul storage units were not as recommended, I was offered a 7x10 that was a 5x8 once measured. Please ensure that units are the correct size advertised.

The best part of the experience was working with the front desk person Antonio. As I've written before he went above and beyond to make the experience easy and understandable, all while working alone on a very busy day, with a line nearly out the door. He made me feel like I was the only one being helped and never lost his smile! Give that guy a RAISE! : )

ANTONIO was AMAZING. I witnessed grouchy tired people come at him and he kept his composure while dealing & resolving their issues. When it was my turn, he was kind and amicable even though he seemed to be the only front desk employee in one of the busiest days of the year in B’more GRADUATIONS all over the city! Lots of moving ins and outs. He handled everything though I bet he wishes he had backup! Give the guy a BIG RAISE! ❤️👏🏻❤️ The only problem we had was after hours entry. The BIG sliding door would NOT open - forcing us to unload an entire load through the small door. Thanks for listening !

Wish there was better parking especially for the front units. Wish the buildings were connected. Have a unit in front and one in the back. That’s only because there are no large units available. But this location is very convenient for me.

So much of my things were ruined by rodents., roaches and there was some water damage. The staff was great and the storage area wa not great. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

I was rented a unit which was occupied. I had to wait for the staff (whom was very friendly and helpful) to find me a unit. The check in pad didn’t work. The portable stairs didn’t work properly. I had 3M movers there and was paying by the hour. Needless to say that they were being held up for their next job. While I’m force to incur additional charges. Unsatisfied customer.

Had to throw away all of my belongings due to rat and/or mice feces & urine all over my items. No one has really helped with reembursing my belongings or what I’ve payed to keep my things there!

I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t 24 hour access you had to pay extra,I believe that should be a given. Also I noticed some mouse infestation because I found some mouse dropping’s on my belonging.
