Altho the neighborhood is not one we frequent (not the best area…feels unsafe), the staff was professional and the facility was clean and organized.

Kristine SThe 2 ladies that helped when that worked the counter need more customer service. The day I reserved the UHaul, that lady was doing something in the computer. But, she still should have acknowledged me and said. "I'll be with shortly or in just a minute". She waited until, I said something to her. Which was only HI! She was very dry and she had her cell phone on the counter face down, but she wasn't very welcoming. When I brought the UHaul back, the lady that helped was sitting down doing all her work. She only got up when she had too, I guess. That was to get the truck key to hand it to the customer. The man that came in from checking in the UHaul ended up taking the lock, keys and gate card from the storage that we cleared out which was 325. So, you see she was just wasted space. She just said here is your receipt and was about to send me on my way. Until, I saw the man and told him. I needed to turn in the keys to the lock to the storage 325 and return the gate card. Usually, the men that work for your location are the ones with great customer service not the women. Your location is near my home, so I'm a regular and so is my mom.

Diane JThis facility was my worst Uhaul storage experience. On move-out I had to pay for an extra cargo can rental because the gate was NOT functional until ~ 5 pm on 3/24/24. On 11 different storage access days, I had difficulty gaining timely access to my unit. Sometimes not at all, sometimes it took excess of 30 minutes. Eventual access required multiple attempts, driving in and out of gate to trouble shoot door access error telling me I wasn’t checked in. This facility also had NO gate remote openers available, so this required exiting and re-entering my vehicle in snowy, cold Wisconsin weather. I moved out of this facility and into a different storage facility. An attempt to have the site manager proactively trouble shoot this KNOWN inconvenience and possibly compensate me for the same, lead to him being rude and disrespectful with me, the customer, on the phone. I will recommend Uhaul to someone; But DEFINITELY NOT this 76th & Appleton location.

Jenae RThe U-Haul location at 7677 W Appleton Ave Milwaukee WI 53222 was more than helpful in renting the truck I needed for my move. They were fast and efficient with the process of my rental truck. I highly recommend using this location for all U-Haul rentals to future and regular customers.

Russell WA/C inoperable, the roller door need to be inspected and greased with PB blaster due to the rust. Suspension felt like it needed some work while driving. The truck pulled to the right.

China JStaff was very friendly and initially helpful, Michael Scott was great, so was the other gentleman working 2/20/24. I wasn't thrilled with the trailer because there was so much dirt and sand stuck in the front slides for the straps and they were terribly greasy and oily, made getting them positioned properly a pain because I had to chip out the rail junk. Was also disappointed that my 7 to 5 pin adapter was lost in the 20 mile drive. Mr. Scott hooked it all up to my truck and must not have pushed it in far enough to lock it and it fell off in the drive and was lost. The guys were great, the equipment worked ok but the overall was somewhat disappointing. Mr. Scott should have offered to replace my adapter that he didn't secure.

james gJoe and Tony were very helpful. I always get in and out. The only concern is for the person checking vehicles is to mark the gas hand on the correct notch. It my job to make sure the paper and the gas hand in the truck matches but it’s not my job to make sure the truck is marked correctly before setting it up for rental. It can be a little time consuming when trying to make the corrections.

cherokee sGot the truck and had to put gas in it. Seems to me as huge as U-Haul is they would have gas pumps at their stores. Also the way they ask these questions is to assure they get good reviews. WHAT I DON'T APPRECIATE IS THEY TAKE THE SECURITY DEPOSIT FROM YOU RIGHT AWAY, BUT IT TAKES THEM 3-10 BUSINESS DAYS TO RETURN THE MONEY TO OUR CARDS. WHAT THEY SHOULD DO IS PUT THE MONEY ON HOLD UNTIL WE RETURN THE VEHICLE and WHEN IT (VEHICLE RENTED) CLEARS INSPECTION THEY RELEASE THE MONEY RIGHT BACK TO OUR ACCOUNTS IMMEDIATELY. THEY DON'T WAIT 3-10 BUSINESS DAYS TO GET THE MONEY, WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO WAIT THAT LONG FOR IT TO BE RETURNED?!!?

Lashonda HJust to recommend a little something for each storage if you get some tomcat poison and put in there or have the people that’s leasing the storage to buy some and put it in there before they put their furniture in there It will keep rotten out of the storage. I was blocked twice, wasting about 25 minutes for customers to move and get access to the gate due to customer car/truck blockage! Other than that customer service great! I appreciated their help!
