I rented a truck from another location and used more miles than I did this time and was able to be refunded money back still. Meanwhile here at this location I didn’t use all my miles that I paid for and returned it with the same gas and everything and I didn’t get money back. I don’t see how that works out

It may be difficult to figure out when busier days will happen, but there was a line 5 trucks/vans deep, waiting to return while being held up with getting new rentals out. The people working there were professional, courteous, and (most importantly) competent, but there's only so much one person can do.

BASED ON MY CHECK IN PROCESS WITH THE PERSON WHO HELPED ME, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. CASHIER WAS RUDE WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ONLINE CHECK IN PROCESS AND HIS OVERALL EXPLANATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT TO ME WAS CONDESCENDING.

The staff at your Anaheim Location is some of the best staff I’ve had experiences with at any U-Haul location You have a great team there

Employees should be more productive than hangout in the back doing nothing every time I rented a vehicle the odometer and gas meter was completely off. This tells me the employees do not take their jobs seriously. Also as I’m almost done checking the truck 🛻 n and returning it an employee doesn’t even give me a chance to finish taking my photos. Another time I promptly brought a truck back on Friday night because I knew that had a rental for it going out on Saturday. I return the truck and I was blocked in by an employees car and a Uhaul can next to me on each side and by a truck haul truck parked behind me. Making it impossible to get out. The employee that checked me out knew I was coming back that night and knew I had work early in the morning. This caused me to be late to work and caused me to get written up. It’s against the law to block a disabled person displaying a place card.. the next day the employees were very rude and disrespectful with the whole matter. I have rented so many times from Uhaul and I have never experienced what I experienced from this location. Than when I rent again on Saturday not only i didn’t keep the truck for 24 hours they now tell me I have to park over two blocks away . A disabled person parking 2 blocks away. This place definitely lost my business. I will be leaving a yelp review. !

Try to get the equipment clean Wierndows were filthy you could see nothing.! Thankfully it stared to rain and they got clean! The workers aren't to efficient!

I requested blankets for my rental (order the rental at least a week ahead or so). 1. I was told on the morning of the rental (i was flying into the city to pickup it up) that the blankets were not available anymore. I had no time to request another place, very short notice. UHaul had plenty of time to get the blankets for me. So I would appreciate some kind of customer credit for my rental unit, so other people don't have to go thru this. 2. Fuel tank was not full, had to get gas myself. 3. Place was robbed several times per the manager telling me as well. I would like to see better security at the facility, maybe barb wire fence and alarms.

Incredibly poor experience with U-Haul & a complete waste of time making a reservation! Receive a phone call 24hours before picking up the truck telling me they don't have the truck I booked and that I can drive an extra 10 miles to get a different Truck or take a smaller truck from their location with no discount. Finally arrive at the location to pick up the alternative truck and they tell me I can't drop off at the location I reserved but instead must drive further to an alternative drop off. waste of time waste of money. Recommend utilizing any other platform!

Employee with the black hat and glasses and beard was extremely unprofessional and unattentive. Didn't engage with me at all when I was trying to check in my uhaul. Everyone there had a great attitude except him.

Customer service needs to do better as well as management. Went to pickup my trailer with reservation and when I got to the location was told it was not there and that I had to go to a different location. I asked why no one contacted me before getting there and they all just collectively shrugged and didn't have an answer, including management. I didn't want to drive that far so I asked for something they did have and they tried to verify my ID but my phone had no internet service in the location I was at. Asked if we could use a different way or use the wi-fi or even their phone but they said they could not do it and didn't have any other suggestions or solutions. Manager was just sitting listening and seeing the whole interaction and did nothing to help. Just sat there with his snack. I will never go back to this location or U-haul again and I will try and tell as many people as possible to never use this location or U-haul ever, for anything. I will write to as many reviews sites as I can find to post my interaction with them and how they are absolutely useless to work with or engage with.

There’s absolutely no communication with the customer during the pick up or if there are drop off issues. Charges are being made without explanation and money is being taken out without warning. There wasn’t even a call to get verification or to discuss the situation. The pick up place was sketchy and didn’t even have anybody at the location, I had to wait 20 minutes before the lady even got there. There were multiple USPS stickers on the door that showed that there wasn’t anybody there. There was also three phone numbers on the door that stated if one of them doesn’t answer to the next number. And then after waiting for her to get there, I had to do the extra reservation steps for 15 additional minutes which made me late to my Key pick up and apartment move-in; Which costed me more money with my apartments to push back the move-in date because of this. I purposely scheduled everything to be an hour in advance and U-Haul messed that up. Additionally, the U-Haul was given to me on E, which in no way was adequate enough to ensure that I would be Able to get to my next location. Which again was more money for me to pay. Now I’m being charged with $235, and a $300 hold on my account for damages that I didn’t do. And if there were damages that were against my control, I would not be surprised for the horrible service Location that I picked it up from to have been the cause of it. The so-called damage stated that apparently an entire mirror was missing. I took pictures and videos before and after the service. If there was a mirror missing, I wouldn’t of felt comfortable enough to even drive that big of a truck from inland Empire to Anaheim, let alone at night time. Pictures were submitted showing that the mirror was fine. Again, if there was an issue with the mirror, I’m sure it was the location. I picked it up from or the sketchy place I dropped it off at.

I had a return date of 1/8/24 I returned the truck on 1/8/24 handed the keys to the lady at the counter and still received a late return fee for returning the truck and I quote from the receipt here “returned 0 days late” to improve don’t scam people out of money

Unfortunately we were not able to get the storage size we needed so it was a hassle to load a trailer and our belongings not fit in the storage unit. However, Jose and Kevin were amazing! They were extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond for my husband and I. Great customer service!

This is by far the worst experience I ever have had!!! The facility is so dirty and the unit was filthy had a huge rat trap inside no lock included, looked as though the unit has been broken into recently. There are homeless people, and gang. Members lurking about . I am going there tomorrow to ask for a refund and gather my things and move them some where else. I'm appalled especially since I had to pay $137 for one months rent and

All was well with the unit, it was clean and had no issues while driving. Tow dolly functioned properly except for one small issue. One of the chain links that is tied around the car frame was hooked to the dolly end to end. The chain link was also twisted and tense, so I could not unhook it from the dolly to wrap on the car frame. I used an extra strap to tie the frame with the chain. Overall small issue, still happy with the service.

The truck was excellent. The staff at the storage unit was also excellent. The facility itself needs a little upgrading. Needs more carts on the Upper Floor to move things down the hallway. Other thank you again for making this experience just a little easier. But I would not recommend that facility. On the count of no elevator and the ceilings are very short made it a little more difficult especially since I am a 6 ft tall man. Have a great day thanks again

Everything was fine, except for the days that I wanted to close out my account. On one day, after waiting 20 minutes for the gentleman to finish fumbling with the printer, I was told he couldn't close my account, and that I would have to return the following day. On the second occasion, I waited for a while - even though the office was open, no one was in the store, or anywhere to be seen on the grounds.

Good experience with staff. A little hard to get into since it is compact and stuffy in the halls. Twice when I came by there were people loitering around the area which made me a bit uneasy. Thank u.
