I want to say that the individuals I dealt with were unfailingly polite and tried their best to help me. However when I first discussed my need I was told that one ubox should be plenty. I ended up needing four. This ended up being so expensive I would’ve been better off throwing away everything I owned and just buying new. To add insult to injury at the end I was charged the monthly fee of $400 for four uboxes as well as $2k for shipping and $150 for home delivery. I feel the month should’ve been prorated instead of charging me another $400 for the month. in fact I felt I should get a discount because of how bad the estimate was of how many boxes I would need. I called twice and discuss it in detail and was told I would get a call back and never did. Next time I will be certain to use another vendor for storage and shipping. This ended up being far far more expensive than I bargained for.

I contacted Uhaul customer service prior to my move there confirm the time and trailer availability, when my movers got there they did not have them ready. I called customer service and I was transferred multiple times and I was on that call for almost an hour, no one was able to get ahold of the location. On top of it when they transfer you they don't even let you know and one of them even hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

The service we received from u-haul was outstanding. They were extremely punctual on both ends of the move. We decided to use movers on the destination side and it was easily the best decision ever. Our Pod was delivered and unloaded in under 2 hours. The guys who moved our belongings we very professional and kept us updated of their status so we could be ready when they arrived. I would definitely use U-pod and the moving company again. Thanks for making this transition to our new home easier for us.

My ubox was late, there seemed to be absolutely no coordination between employees, and no one seemed to have any idea what was going on. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life.

Overall this was a poor experience. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone to talk to at my Denver location. I had a question about the delivery of my pods and spent so much time on hold, only to get routed back to an office in Kansas City where I was put on hold again. After pods came and got picked up, it was again impossible to get a hold of anyone at your 303-800-4814 #. I tried to get a partial refund as I was charged for 2 months and only needed pods for only a little over 1 month. I was told on 2 separate occasions that someone at my Denver office would get a hold of me and have yet to receive a call from anyone. The last person o talked to was Bertha who said she would make a note for someone to call me. Still no call. I would definitely not recommend your services to anyone.

Working with U Haul on renting U Boxes was an interesting experience. When I called to order the second U Box I was on the phone for over an hour because the computer system was slow at your end. With U Haul having so many locations and staff when I called to get information about the U Box the questions I had could not be answered. Staff are not trained well enough. I used the boxes for totes and boxes only so the furniture pads took up valuable space. Why not ask the customer when they place the order how they are going to use the box. I called to see if pads could be removed and was told no. The box did not always arrive in the time slot. Two hours is given and when one hires men to unload it is costly to just have them wait. I would tell anyone asking that I used U Box and do not know if they are better with all that I have said against other pod providers. I went to U Haul because it is a national company to discover that it is only as good as the local provider.

There was a HUGE communication issue between U-haul and this storage facility. I was trying to schedule a delivery for a few days and no one could get a hold of the storage facility. I was in a time crunch to access my stuff and no one could give me any answers since they could not get a hold of the storage facility. Finally I just had to rent a u-haul truck and move everything out of my storage pod myself since no one could schedule a delivery for me, which resulted in double the work and took up more of my time which was an inconvenience. The lack of communication between u-haul and the storage facility was the most frustrating part in all of this.

They were supposed to deliver in the morning, the driver called said she couldn't deliver it because it was over weight or things had shifted. I went to the location and opened the box, nothing shifted, everything was exactly where it was supposed to be. I removed 7 boxes, had one of the men try to lift it and it was no problem. I think they should have been able to lift it without me taking out 7 boxes. The initial driver who was supposed to deliver it that morning stated she might not be able to deliver it at all that weekend. One of the men who lifted the box put it on a trailer and brought it out to my house. Which I totally appreciated. He was amazing, the original driver was uncooperative and rude.

I had a great experience overall and with customer service in particular. The online reservation system was too inflexible to make the reservation the way I wanted to, but it was easy to do it over the phone. In every phone interaction I had with customer service they were friendly and helpful. Box drop off and pickup on both sides were on time and quick. The price compared to other long distance moving options is quite competitive. I was impressed and would definitely consider using this service again in the future.

Every single step of the way - from shipping my things out to Florida and shipping them back to Colorado - something went wrong. There seems to be a lack of communication between the cal center and the locations. It was a very frustrating experience all around.

Our entire experience with uhaul has been terrible. The actual warehouse staff in Chicago were kind, however we called uhaul and asked that our box ship about 1 month later than initially discussed. This request was not honored and shipped much earlier than it was supposed to. It was also supposed to be shipped to Arvada and instead ended up in south Denver. It took over 2 weeks to get in touch with someone at that location to schedule a time to get our boxes. We also ended up paying an additional month in storage because we couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Every time we called the general uhaul number for assistance we were told “they are so busy, just keep calling, we have trouble getting a hold of them as well” we were given 3 different phone numbers to reach them, and eventually my husband just went there. We were quite surprised to see they were anything but busy. We are so seriously questioning the location of a few of our items that we know were packed however are not in our boxes. The entire experience has been awful, and I would not recommend this service.

We had some challenges. First, once arriving to Denver from Maryland, it was very difficult for anyone to tell us where our boxes were, which was quite concerning as we needed to get into one box. We had to drive to 2 different U-Haul locations before they could find our boxes. Then when trying to schedule delivery of the boxes, it was very difficult to get a hold of a person - I kept getting sent to the Phoenix office, NO ONE would return calls thus i had to continue calling until someone would answer. I got different responses from different people. Donna in the Denver office was very helpful and was finally able to schedule the delivery date that I needed. Margaret delivered our boxes and she was FANTASTIC! Excellent service and assistance with unloading our boxes and picking them up the next day. I would say communication was the most severely lacking issue.

Most of the several scheduling staff I had to contend with were poorly trained, at best. Some made up information. One hung up on me. One scheduled delivery without consulting with the local office first. I believed the Lafayette, LA staff were fantastic but the failure of Uhaul to allow me to schedule delivery after scheduling pick-up and transfer killed any good customer service they provided at the start. The company's system is broken. A $50 refund for not delivering on a guarantee, being treated like a nuisance, being IGNORED when submitting online concerns, is insulting. There's no way I can recommend Uhaul outside of business conducted solely in Lafayette.

The whole experience was horrendous. My UHaul arrived 4 days late and every time I called to talk to someone at UHaul, they would tell me different things. The UHaul UBox arrived DAMAGED so we were unable to open it to unload our items. We had to purchase a saw in order to get the damaged lock off of the box. When unpacking our items, over half of them were damaged. I will NEVER use UHaul again.

The pick up was great and all of my things in great condition once unloaded but I had the worst experience scheduling the delivery! after making a million phone calls because it wasn’t delivered on time I had to pay a lot more than they originally quoted me and they didn’t have a key for me to unlock my box!

There were more Han enough, but the very expensive Moving Help how loaded our items neglected to use them. When they loaded in Indianapolis, they first loaded a 20 foot truck and unloaded into the pods at the UHaul center in Castleton. We never saw the pods until they were delivered in Colorado two months later. Very disappointed in the loading help. We ended up using 14 pods, but the unloading crew on this end said they wasted a lot of space and we most likely didn’t need more than ten. I tried to arrange having 7 pods one day and the other 7 delivered the next day. I spent more than an hour on the phone and was passed to 8 different people as they didn’t know how to do this. I was told not to worry and that I would get an email or call from “Stephanie”. Didn’t happen. I was told by “Tina” that she would call me in a few days to confirm i heard from someone. Didn’t happen. The website stated that 10 were coming first and then 4 the next day, so that was how I arranged Moving Help to unload. The day before delivery I get a call from “Megan” to confirm 7&7 delivery. I told her that it needed to stay 10&4 since no one confirmed anything different. They were delivered and picked up quickly and professionally.

Computer system, slower than molasses. Customer service, no such thing. if you do get thru to Denver, where your things are abandoned for weeks, you are immediately put on hold, end of conversation. Your people do not do what they say they are going to do. My dealings with uhaul were bad enough that I bought a trailer to finish my move instead of renting one from you. I will never do any business with uhaul again.

Better communication, more accountability. Our box arrived nearly 4 days late and I believe the problem originated in Denver location. They had the box on 8/8, but did not send until 8/19, just one day before the guaranteed arrival date in Scottsdale. They did not advise us at that time of the late departure, which resulted in my daughter taking time off at work that she sat around waiting for the box to arrive when it never did. The Denver office was generally unresponsive to my requests for information. I would not recommend Ubox to others who are moving.

Don’t have any recommendations right now, the few little hang-ups I had through the process were handled so well the easily became non-issues. Easiest and most affordable move service we could find. Highly recommend U-boxes for any move, big or small. Lots of people would see our U-boxes as we unloaded and say, “We used U-box for our move — they were great!” I particularly appreciate that having the boxes for a month was an all inclusive price ????, that really made a huge difference for us. So easy to change little things about the reservation as needed as we went along. Every staff member we encountered or called was super polite, personable and helpful.

The boxes arrived to Denver a week earlier than expected, which was great, but they were not able to actually deliver them to my house until a week AFTER the date that the contract said they would be delivered. I had to pay $420 through MovingHelp.com to get the delivered in time for what I needed. I also was not able to reach anyone at the Denver location to talk this through; the number they gave me rerouted me to other states, and when I looked online, the number listed for the Denver UBox facility was 000-000-0000. The person who ultimately helped me was in Kansas. It was incredibly frustrating to not be able to talk to someone in CO, let alone in Denver, and it was incredibly frustrating and financially challenging for me to have to pay significantly more than I expected based on my Uhaul contract.

All the above really have nothing to do with quality service. I will never use a UBox again. I was not infromed of how my box would be stored, how to access it when I arrived in Denver or where I could find it. when I designated the location of the UHaul I was familiar with in Denver no one told me that the box would be elsewhere. Imagine my anxiety when I went to find my clothes, office equipement and computer to begn work and no one knew where my box was. Iamagine my anxiety and concern when I fianlly found it to learn that it would take 24 hours to get to it. The person at the Forest St location took the brunt of my frustrations. she was kind and helpful in spite of my loss of control. You are lucky to have her. Her skill did not make up for the lack of structure in the organization. You can start my having a UBox option in your phone menu. It took over an hour just to talk with someone who understoof teh UBox process.

The driver was rude. Bent the basketball hoop in front of my house dropping the ubox. Then ripped it off taking them. I went to the main office to try and resolve the matter. I walked in the office and was rudely asked "who are you and why are you here?" I spent no less than 4 hours on hold during 5 phone calls collectively. When it came time to deliver the uboxes I had scheduled the delivery a month prior they were eight days behind what they told me. So back to your main office which again was useless and unhelpful. So back on hold to corporate for hours who rectified the delivery date. Certainly the worst customer service experience of my life and one of the rudest most unorganized group of people running a business that I have ever dealt with.

Never dealt with a more incompetent group of people in my life than what I did with the people at your Conroe facility. Denver team was amazing. Conroe team was a disaster. Will never use U-Haul again. Ever. Shipment not only arrived a day late but they also missed multiple SELF IMPOSED deadlines they assured me they would meet. Should have gone with PODS. A little more expensive but not anywhere close to the idiots you hire. Unbelievable.

Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had with moving. The two movers I hired in Portland and in Denver from Moving Help were GREAT and do not have anything to do with this review. Uhaul itself was absolutely awful. I was on hold for an average of an hour for each conversation and I had many because my Uboxes were delayed 10 days and NO ONE informed me each time there was another delay. I always had to call them. My poor movers were on standby when we got to Denver because no one could tell me where in the country my boxes were or when they would get here. We slept on the floor for nearly two weeks and didn't have access to any of our kitchen things, so we had to eat ready-made meals or eat out which cost our bodies and our wallets a pretty penny. For my "trouble" I was compensated $50 per day for each day of the delay (which wouldn't touch the expenses of chiropractic care I'll have to get as a result of not sleeping in a bed, nor would it pay for more than a few nights in a seedy hotel) but instead of getting my $500 refund at the end of this nightmare, they CHARGED me $500 and it's taken a week and many more painful "on-hold-forever" phone calls to get resolved. Keep your fingers crossed for me and stay far far far far away from Uhaul for your next cross-country move.

So many things went wrong. Had originally packed a UBOX at the Boulder location with guaranteed shipment by June 22. On June 18th it was still sitting at this Denver warehouse. The guarantee date had been changed to the 30th with no communication with me. I was flying from Denver to Seattle, had bought airline tickets so I could unload and move into my place. I only had 3 days scheduled in town as I have 3 more weeks of more than full time work in Boulder then start a full time job right after that. Told them to ship the box back to Boulder and reserved a uhaul to unload it and then drive to Seattle. This was Friday the 21st. Not only was the UBox not in Boulder, they didn’t have a truck that was reserved either. Drove to Denver the next morning to meet someone at the warehouse. After much searching they couldn’t find it. They thought it had been shipped to Seattle. Later that morning received a phone call from Boulder that the BOX had just been delivered. Had to go back to the warehouse in Denver to pick up a truck to then go back to Boulder. By the time it was all done I was finally able to leave for Seattle at 4 pm. Took 22 hours to drive there and was quite miserable. What is accounted for in this review is the literal hours I had to spend on the phone waiting, being transferred to other people, have to call back, etc. and the drive times back and forth to Denver. Heard multiple times that the president of this district is no longer working there and there are a lot of issues right now. Have used UHAUL for years, mines for my homes and business). Will have another large move here in the near future and will be going with a different company this next time.

The U-Haul representative, Mark, and the man assisting him at this location were so helpful. They had a friendly attitude, great customer service, were knowledgeable, and went above and beyond for us. I would definitely use U-Box again. It arrived on time and was super easy to store or schedule for pick up or delivery. There were so many great options available and U-Haul was very flexible and helpful with each step of the process. It took uhaul an hour and 1/2 to locate my ubox and get me to the right storage location for me to pay a one month ubox charge so I could then schedule a pick up/unload. I spoke with a min of 6 diff. people till they told me I needed to speak with this location. Their CC machine did not work on 2 occasions and didn't accept debit cards. This experience was terrible. I had a good loading experience with ubox but finding my ubox (physically) and scheduling the pick up for the unload was a JOKE (location impossible to find. Not even a Uhaul sign/location.

Make sure you to double check and triple check your UBOX delivery details ESPECIALLY if you pay for the moving service to load or unload the UBOX. I went through a nightmare that lasted 48hrs and NO ONE at Uhaul customer service wanted to take accountability for their mistakes. Thank God for Lupay & Rejanay who took the time to help me through this MESS that the initial agent created when she took my reservation for the moving delivery service to unload my UBOX. I WILL NEVER AGAIN use UHAUL for UBOX or its movinghelp.com delivery services! Spend the extra money and go with their competitors!
