Overall the staff was great especially the Lady drivers who delivered the Uboxes now and in the past all were GREAT people. My Ubox was late after waiting 2 hours it showed up a half hour later after I saw the driver drive past my storage unit Cube Smart in West Palm Beach she went to the apt complex next door. I don't know if she was giving the wrong address. I do know I looked at my billing and receipt and it had the correct address for delivery but did not have CUBE SMART on it which I had indicated to put on the delivery. The box also showed up with 2 weird hinges added on the box to hold it shut I requested Tampa to look at the lock because I had to drill it back on because it was coming off and requested them to replace it if needed changed instead they added the 2 hinges that had an almost like allen screw that was not because I have a universal metric with many sizes and it did not fit. So I had a drill and spent over a half hour getting them off stripping the drill bit and using an adjustable small wrench to get them off out in the heat with Tamika who was very kind and was trying to help but was told about the hinges or had the proper tools to help me. I should not be put in this situation as your customer, thank goodness I am a handywoman with lots of tools. But it seems Uhaul never communicates with each other as a team and with the customer. I know, I have experienced this many times using you in the past and it continues. Considering you doubled your rates for 1 box and I paid 1 year before $832 for my boxes to be delivered to Tampa this is NOT a GREAT Sign. In addition, you should advise your customers when renting a Ubox that you cannot drop them in most storage rentals, even your affiliates but you can park a truck go figure and they usually double the size, it took me 2 days and about 50 phone calls to find a place that would take it. I did not want to use your storage scenario because I would not have access to it and would have to call to get it down every time that was a nightmare when I had them before and would call in advance 24 to 48 hrs ahead and when I showed up most of the time would wait for 3 hrs to get it because they forgot to bring them down my boxes and the forklift had ripped off 5 lock several times it was brought down and the actual lock was ripped off and need to be replaced. Then it was delivered in Tampa with 2 forklift holes in one of the Uboxes and I had to wash 100 loads of laundry for 3 weeks because of the horrible smells. So based on my experience, I will have to avoid using the Uboxes again.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a company. The people were super friendly, helpful and delivered my box significantly early (which was a good thing.). Especially Stacy- she did a fantastic job and helped make some very last-minute calendar adjustments to accommodate the movers timing which was completely out of mine or her hands. Stacy in Tampa gets the employee of the month award. I appreciated her exceptional customer service and would HIGHLY recommend U-Haul to anyone needing to move important items across the country.

Your customer service is the best I’ve experienced in a long time. I would recommend the U Box to anyone moving. Emails sent at each step and phone calls to provide the updates. The drivers that dropped off and picked up pod were the best and again customer service at its best. Best experience moving I’ve ever had.

The boxes are smaller than people would think they are, it might benefit explaining they are not the same size as PODs storage containers. They also did not fit everything I had but that could have been a me problem.

The initial delivery and pick up was spot on. After that it got quite messy as I received either no information or incorrect information on where the U-box was when it did not arrive on time as promised. I spent a lot of time on the phone and wasted a lot of time, without getting the correct information on where and when the U-box would be delivered.

My computer monitor delivered broken, scratches on my desk and one side of my bed. I called for an insurance claim but were told there was nothing they could do if there were no visible damage to the container.

Our pods were delivered to our new home and they were all wet. The boxes of course were squished down and a lot of stuff was wet and moldy. I cannot believe that after I had reported this several times you still had the nerve to charge for storage. It was a couple days late for them to pick up. I had reported this a couple times and now will contact BBB. WE WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. IF you can refund the last storage fee believe me thet would not even cover the things we had to dispose of because of mold.

I picked up four U—Boxes from storage, unloaded them and returned the empty boxes to U—Haul on the same day. Over the next three days, I received multiple texts and emails from U—Haul claiming I hadn’t returned their equipment, owed money for storage charges and needed to sign agreements associated with reservations I hadn’t made. Resolving the confusion required multiple, redundant phone calls to U—Haul over a three day period. The only positive experience involved a call with Monique who professionally and competently resolved the matter.

COMMUNICATION. My container was delayed and I found out it hadn’t shipped the day it was supposed to be here. I called multiple times and no one could tell me where it was or an estimate arrival. I was offered no compensation for it being late. This experience was a joke and so was customer service I will never use Uhaul again.

My Dining table base was broken. I would leave everything behind except that I liked our dining table and I wanted to keep it. That is why I thought about ubox May be a good option. I was wrong. They have to forcefully close the ubox as it was wooden with its door tilted after delivered. Once it arrived, we found the base of our table broken although it was wrapped. I have asked by uhall on the phone to submit a claim to the insurance company and I did but nothing happen. I don’t think that was a gentle ride as promised.

We moved from Kansas City to Florida and the u-box were perfect for us. Easy and fast to reserve, all the instructions to load and organize the pods are on their website. They are very flexible about the dates and times, and all the employees involved in the process both and in KC and Tampa were very friendly and helpful. Uhaul deserve all the stars!

Extremely frustrating as the office input all of my information into the moving help website and said I was good to go and then moving day a huge ordeal in which I was on the phone ALL DAY along with uhaul and moving help because my movers were compensated with mileage but they said it was my fault that I put in the wrong info? I gave both correct addresses to my house and the warehouse and still was dealing with this mess all day long. So frustrating

Furniture pads actually take up to much space so they should be optional whether someone wants to use them or not. I had to drop mine off because I did not use them and they couldn't fit in the containers.

Absolutely awesome! Everyone very supportive since the U-Box drop off last year in Canada and the smooth and anticipated delivery in Tampa this year. I'd like to thank the girls who drove the U-Box to my driveway in Canada and Maryssa who helped me with the cross-border documentation, she answers quickly and with a lot of good info. Also the guys in Tampa who helped me along the scheduling and payment like Stacy. At last, Sabre she's such a good vibe delivering my box. This box was mainly of memories, we're so happy to have these memories back to enjoy at our new home! God bless you all!

I am super pleased with U Haul delivery time: My boxes were arrived early! If not one of the box was damaged (maybe poked by the folk lift?) and my furniture was also got slightly damaged, I would give them a 5+!

Make sure cx's belongings are taken care of and not handled improperly by staff moving the boxes in transport or loading or unloading the boxes. My merchandise was damaged and now uhaul is dragging their feet on replacing my property they damaged when I purchase the insurance to cover damages

Customer support at the site was fine. Corporate customer service throughout the experience as a whole has been truly horrible. I would never recommend to anyone to ever consider using uboxes as there is just so little support to be had from uhaul. The worst experience I have ever had with any company for a good or service. Highly suggest everyone go to pods or another service as uhaul will only cause issues and their customer service will do nothing to help remediate any issues in the process.

There needs to be communication about why there's a delay in shipping the boxes containers. Plus, I don't want to be bounced around to multiple people explaining the same thing. You probably won't improve because...uhaul is gonna uhaul.

I had way too many furniture pads and it was difficult to return them. When I FINALLY was able to return them it was 3 days and several hours of driving around. THEN they didn't note my account that I had returned the pads. It was over 4 calls and 2 hours of speaking with CSRs that could not help and getting passed around several times before I got a resolution - which was not fully sufficient, but as long as I don't get billed, I'll be OK with it.

Everybody was great at the Tampa office! We had 13 pods and they had to schedule them simultaneously because we can only have three in our driveway due to the homeowners association. They were terrific in working with rotating things in and out. Can’t say enough about the gals who came to pick up and drop off they were both wonderful! Thank you so much for helping make my trip a little less stressful!

My Ubox got held up for multiple days and no one was able to tell me what the issue was. It took 5 or 6 phone calls over multiple days to get confirmation of where my stuff was and when it would be delivered.

This was a great way for us to move, moving with a van line truck would’ve been $8000 more expensive. And the nice thing about it is that you can unload at your own pace. We had a lot of pods, 13 to be exact, so we needed some time to be able to empty them so we kept rotating three or four pods every four days. And got the job done. We did hire workers in Vegas, and they showed up on time and we’re very expedient. Overall has been a very very pleasant experience, everybody we’ve worked with on the phone as well as the drivers have all been wonderful it was a very smooth transaction which, when you’re moving across the whole United States is a blessing, and we felt very safe, because we used our own locks and nothing was tampered with they kept track of the serial number on the boxes to make sure we knew which boxes would be coming so I never felt like her items were going to get lost in transit . I would do this if I had to move again, hopefully I won’t be doing that anytime soon! And a special shout out to Alicia in Vegas, she kept track of everything and told us early that she was watching to make sure everything went the way it was supposed to - absolutely fabulous customer service you’re the best!
