Not tell them they can rent truck for 174 and than you take 224 dollars off there card. And truck was nasty and gas hand was on 1 forth of a tank. I brought it back like I got it.also we brought truck back on time but was on at second office in parking lot. Until some one told use go to other office

Rental facility was a "Neighborhood" Uhaul facility. Rental was for an Auto Transport. Rental process at this facility SUCKS! 1) Had to report to office to do paperwork, etc. prior to rental p/u. 2) Hook-up and retrieve Auto Transport by myself at a storage facility over six blocks down the street. 3) Then drive back to office area where Uhaul people had to inspect and take pictures (w/cell phone) of my hook-up to Rental truck (picked up previously from other location). 4) On my way, finally. Movers at home waiting!!!! Rental/p/u of Truck and Transport was a grueling 3 hour process!! DO NOT like or recommend "neighborhood" rental facilities!

Very tight location. Not easy to maneuver. If the owner had not been there I would not have found the truck. My app would not work at the lot. The owner had to check me in.

The address listed online is not the correct address for the rental office. Once at the rental office I was then informed I had to go back to the original address to get the trailer and that I was responsible for hooking up the 6'x12' trailer by myself. It was a very heavy trailer and I could barely accomplish this task. There was no one to assist me with making sure the trailer lights worked and one tail light was burned out. I had to take a picture of the trailer hookup and send it to the manager when I was finished attaching it. Seemed like a big liability for Uhaul if something happened to go wrong.

Someone did finally come out and helped me get the trailer off my hitch. That gentelman was very nice. There were people around the falicity (using the storage units) that made me feel uncomforatble and not safe! One woman even yelled at me to give her cigarettes and yelled at me more through my window when I told her no. NOT SAFE!

This location is at a mini storage facility behind a chain link fence in a rundown part of town. The gate was unlocked; however, when I arrived there was no employee on premises. There was a sign directing Uhaul customers to a new location down the street; however, there was no such location (or at least I could not find it). I returned to the original location. There was nowhere to drop the trailer that was marked, so I backed the trailer up into a corner and dropped it in front of a gate. I had to unhitch this 8x12 trailer (not a problem at all) and lift it on my own (somewhat of a problem). Had I known that were going to be the case, I probably would have brought a helper, or at least worked out more in the previous weeks, ha ha. I hope that if there were security cameras somewhere that someone gets a good laugh over this effort. The checkout directions online specifically said to not block any entrances; however, there was nowhere to drop the trailer without blocking either mini storage units or gates. The biggest problem, however, was that anyone could have pulled in behind me and stolen the trailer. If this had happened at night, I would not have left the trailer. Do not recommend this location unless it is daylight, you have a buddy or your trailer is small, and you don't mind dropping it and hoping for the best.

The address printed on the paper work was not the correct drop off address. A local noticed me waiting outside the office of the paper location which was closed and told me the actual office was up the road. Once we got in the woman was very nice and helpful

My contract said I had 150 miles. I went about 140 and filled up tank at Cstore right across the road and drove 2 blocks to turn in the vehicle. Gage said full yet I was charged $45 for easy fuel. Don't understand why.

It was open and if the person we seen walking around was an employee you would never know it. There was several strange things going on. Im almost certain there were people living in the storage units. They did not approach us but it did make us watch our backs for sure. And our confirmation of return email didnt come immediately. So i had to call and wait while i used the other phone on chat. Had to wait 15-20 mins before we could leave

This UHaul site is in a horrible location, and we felt very unsafe! It was beyond scary! We were helping our daughter and her husband move to Lexington. Had to drop off the truck after hours, at the UHaul designated location, and a posted sign there sent us to another location! Traveled to the new location, and the gate was closed!!!! Had to then back the 26 foot truck out into the busy road, which was totally obscured by a steep overpass, while my spouse had to flag down traffic to keep other cars from hitting me! Did I mention we were in the sketchiest of areas?! Nobody was in the office, nor were they answering the phone number provided! This despite the website stating THIS LOCATION ACCEPTS 24 HOUR RETURNS OF TRUCKS!! We were praying for our safety the whole time. The website was having “technical issues” and couldn't process our return via the mobile site! (Not the first time this has happened to us,) A lady that works there, just by the grace of God, happened by the office to pick up something while we were there fighting with the return process on the website. She was nice, took care of us, and thank God He sent her! It should NEVER be this hard to RETURN a rental truck… or better yet, just try to uphold your end of a contract! UHaul has serious problems overall. It's plain ridiculous to have to go through what we did. And I would add that we both are EXTREMELY tech savvy, so the website issues were not due to “user error”. UHaul's website sucks, and is completely useless! I plan to do anything I can to circumvent ever using UHaul for any moves in the future.

Maybe have someone that knows what they're doing behind the counter. Have them double check the cleanliness of the truck and clean it if it's been neglected so it doesn't fall on the next person in line.

You guys need to close that location DOWN. The lady was very rude at pick up spot . It almost got to a point I was uncomfortable with her just being in her office . She was cussing and yelling , might want to control dog running around or have a sign on door regarding dog . She was very rude rude .

My u-haul truck was a 5 minute walk from the u-haul office location provided. I was not aware of this and had to look for the office after being dropped off. The address provided took me to the u-haul truck, but there was no address for the 'new' office besides being written on a piece of paper taped to the old office door.

I made an online reservation for 1pm at a different location. Was called at 12:30 and told I would be going to a different location and needed to pick up at 12:45, because the location closed at 1. Showed up and the office was closed, no instructions on how to obtain keys, no person on site. Called the storage unit number and was able to get ahold of the property manager. She was extremely unprofessional on the phone in the sense there was music playing, dogs barking, talking to other people all while I was waiting in the parking lot for almost an hour unable to get any productive information and still didn't have my keys. The keys ended up not even being on site the whole time. Not to mention the Uhaul website was down for maintenance. Overall a very poor experience.

The address listed no longer has an office on site if one intends to check in at the desk though the truck is parked there. The office is several blocks away. We reserved our truck for 1pm and were 5 minutes late due to the changed location. When we called to inform staff that we'd be late, the woman who answered the phone told us that she'd gone to lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour. We had an appointment to pick up furniture that had to be changed. I complained on the phone that I thought it was unprofessional to leave when we had an appointment to check in at the desk at 1. She then yelled “so I shouldn't eat?!” and said she'd be back soon before hanging up on me. We waited outside for 40 minutes before she arrived back, slammed the door in our faces and loudly complained about how “some people are in a real hurry”. To be fair, when we arrived lunch hours of 1-2 were posted on the door but we booked online and this information wasn't anywhere on the website. If this is standard, pick up times within those hours should not be made available. Also, the office was filthy, extremely hot, smelled of cigarette smoke and she did not put on a mask at any point. To improve customer experience, accurate locations should be listed, pickup times should reflect availability and customer courtesy should be improved.

First, the truck was in a completely different location than where the key should have been. Second, I had ordered blankets and they didn't have them. I had to drive 3 miles to pick them up AND drop them off. So, more money added onto my mileage. This whole ordeal put me an hour behind schedule that made my movers late for their appointments. Frustrating situation.

I'm very upset of the way you guys charge me for the gas even though I checked the gas before I got in the vehicle and after I got in the vehicle I did call and explain the scale was charge an arm and a leg I was actually going to get a storage unit there but after this bad experience I've change my mind I actually need a U-Haul again that's why I was going to go back but after this extra charges I will not be coming back and I will let my friends know about terrible service their lady was very friendly though she was excellent She did explain about the gas like I said the gas meter was still on the same measurement as when I received it so therefore I shouldn't have paid for gas Before or after any kind of charges I'm very disappointed

Interior windshield had something on it, I had to clean it. Ashes in ash tray. Cup holder area dirty. Inside truck bed something had been spilled and it was sticky. Because the pick up location was changed and they opened later my reservation was changed to pick up through lock box, but it didn't change on my reservation. It took Fifty minutes And five phone calls with long waits to get the truck keys.

The building where I picked up the keys was filthy. The woman obviously lives at the storage facility and it was like a hoard inside the office. Messy and dirty. Reeked of cigarettes. Dogs barking constantly. She let me in and was on a personal call with someone. Finally after about 4-5 minutes started to help me. I felt dirty and gross when I left. She kept licking her fingers and turning the paperwork. Her hands were filthy. I would not use this location again. I wanted to use a location very close to my home but got a message re-directing me to this location a few hours before my pick-up.

I feel as though I was overcharged for the Uhaul that I used. I got one of the smaller box trucks for my move, and I was charged for not only milage, I was charged the flat fee for using the truck, and I also had to pay for gas. My understanding was that I would have the flat fee plus gas. I paid over $100 for a one trip move. Had I known I was going to be charged that outrageous amount I would have packed everything in my car and made 5 trips, or rented a truck from Enterprise, and still come out cheaper. The location was filthy dirty, and reeked of dog pee and cigarettes. The women that took my information did seem to have a good knowledge, or even the bare minimum of what she was doing. I would highly reccomend that she go back through a training class or seek new employment. I would also reccommend this location be shut down, and condemned.

Had to wait outside in the hot sun for an extended period of time for The attendant to come to the door to let me in on two different occasions. The office was dirty and full of smoke. Not at all welcoming. The attendant tried to assist but was limited in knowledge. No accessories to purchase. Would not return to this location.

Office smells of cigarettes. Homeless people living in storage units. Truck not clean. In fact, I believe there was dried urine in cargo area. Lady was very nice. But facility and equipment was the worst.

Smoky customer service office. My daughter and I smelled of smoke and felt we had each smoked a few cigarettes involuntarily during our check out process. Their staff was friendly, but they did not help us hook up the trailer or load our vehicle. (We came back for the transport, after loading the truck.). They sent us out with a transport with a bent trailer tongue. We didn't have an issue on the road, but it was cause for concern. The transport fender could be seen in the right side mirror. The staff in Fort Worth told me that with a 26' truck, I shouldn't be able to see the trailer at all when driving on the highway.

I had an awful experience with getting my UHaul. The first location gave me a trailer that was too big for my vehicle and customer service told me to return to the location on 7th avenue. This location was extremely run down and the waiting area smelt like stale cigarettes and the woman, Kathryn, was extremely rude to me. She proceeded to raise her voice at me after talking to UHaul herself and said I had to return the trailer that was too large at the original location on New Circle Road because she “did not know how to do a refund”. After I had to go all the way across town again to return the large trailer, I returned to the 7th st location to get the smaller one. It took her almost 20 minutes just to get that trailer rented to me and then told me to go hook up the trailer and let her know afterwards so she can take a picture of the hook up. I had no idea how to hook up this trailer and told her that and yelled at me again saying she doesn't know if her husband is in or not and if he isn't I would have to figure it out myself. The other location helped me with no problem but she wanted nothing to do with me after renting me the trailer. I would not recommend this place to rent a trailer or even get a storage unit. Customer service was great who I spoke with, but the woman Kathryn talked too was rude as well. This made me not want to rent through U-Haul again.

The app and lack of communication about pick up was horrible. It took more than 30 minutes to complete. I had to put the information in again, between my computer and the app. It is not the location's fault, she tried to get help. The app is horrible! The chat is horrible!
