The website, sent me a link, stating if I did not park it in an acceptable location, I would be charged a $20.00 fee. To do the after hours check in, I had to use the GPS location on my phone, for your website to verify I was in the correct area. The next day, almost two hours after the U Store It storage room (where the truck was rented from) contacted me. I missed his call. I called on Monday, as that was on Saturday when he had called, the office manager proceeded to yell at me he was charging me $35.00 fee for not parking it in the approved area. I am reporting this as I hope UHual deals with their unruly location. Again, if there was an issue, it should have been advised during the vehicle return which it confirmed it was returned corrected. As well as the fee shows it would only be $20.00 and not the $35.00 he was yelling about.SHAMIL ROYALE R.

I was quoted a price for a 26 ft truck. When I went to pick it up there was only a 20 ft truck and the price was almost tripled. We had to call corporate to have the price I was quoted honored. I'm not very pleased with your company.REBECCA C.

The gentleman that handled my order at this location was a horrible individual. My wife dropped me off as she was driving and proceeded to wait while I went to receive the uhaul rental truck. The only way to deal with this guy was through a mailbox slot leading to a make shift office, most equipment looks as though it was purchased at a thrift store. Since I couldn't hear him through the 3 inch hole in the door, he came out and immediately told me that I was â€œBlocking HIS entry wayâ€ (there wasn't a single person that visited this god forsaken place during the duration of my time there). My wife was driving so I asked her to move back. That is an example of the character you have representing your company on this area. Wasn't given the correct check in time when I rented, so when I checked in 2 hours late I was charged for an extra day. Had I known I would be charged I would have kept the trailer and continued to use it because I still needed it. Alberto Navarro is rude. He should NOT represent U-Haul whatsoever. I asked a couple of questions and did NOT give me an answer. He kept telling me to â€œread the contractâ€ like we weren't moving because of a very busy day. Then now I get charged of $20 for the after hours service fee? I returned the truck the same day and Alberto told me that when I'm done with the truck, just drop the key to the drop box. Did not tell me anything else of checking out. This is unfair! The owner or manager, while we were checking out on our phone, runs out accusing us of breaking into his Waste Management dumpster that we parked by. He started taking pictures of us and my car license plate. While trying to assure him that we did not use the dumpster or touch it, he kept accusing us saying he was out there 10 minutes prior and it wasn't like that. I told him to check his security cameras because we didn't touch it. I will not go back to this location. Him continuing to accuse us after we said we didn't touch it is certainly not a good reflection on U-Haul.Matthew B.
First off there are so many hidden fees and shady things set up to screw the customer in the end. Sure was helpful and attentive when I needed to rent the truck but returning it and asking for the check over he conveniently was busy all of a sudden and I dont appreciate being screwed around I sure miss pre internet days when things were so simple and everyone wasnt out to nickel and dime any and every possible way they could and having to have an account for this and that and then they sell ur info to everyone else and blah blah blah i just simply needed a truck to move a few things not sign my personal info away or be bombarded with crap I not interested in. And I'm sure there will be some kind of ongoing charges with this uhaul place always is something shady going on and so I will be checking my bank statement everyday for the next few months to see any added charges or repetitive ones. Terrible phone service in this area. App would not work. When picking up the truck the staff was not helpful. When dropping off the truck I could not get the app to work, tried calling customer service and could not get through. Staff check the truck in. I spent way too much time picking up and dropping off. I wanted to rent a storage so I called ahead of time to see if they had some and I was told yes. So when I arrived I waited 20 minutes before anyone said anything to me and when I asked they said it was sold. It would have been nice if they would have told me they only had one left so I had to find another one and it made me late bringing the truck back and I put more mileage on the truck because I had to find somewhere else for a storageT'YANA W.

Absolute bullshit. Someone parked their U-haul behind my car and I was unable to get my car for two days! Nobody from U-haul claimed they were able to help including district manager who said he'd help and then disappeared. The location owner did not answer their phones all weekend even when I was standing outside their building and could see someone walking around inside the office. I'm fucking furious as this impacted my personal life and cost me a lot of money taking Ubers to get around. U-haul owes me. I'm going to talk to them tomorrow when they're back from their dandy weekend.Jason R.

The UHaul website located @ https://www.uhaul.com/DamageCoverage/ includes the following description of Safemove Plus insurance; Safemove PlusÂ® - Protection While Moving - The only coverage that includes overhead damage and tire protection. Exclusion Free Coverage - Coverage for ANY accidental damage to the U-Haul truck (including collision with an overhead object). Purchased this insurance and incurred body damage (scratch) from collision with an overhead object which was reported when the vehicle was returned. I submitted a request online for a truck and was never sent a code or anything regarding picking up the keys to my truck. I called and after the first agent I spoke with changed my reservation time without my asking I was transferred to a line where I waited half an hour before becoming frustrated and hanging up. I called again stressing how now I am behind on my reservation and my request was only for two hours so I would appreciate not being place on a long hold - I was directed to the customer service line who transferred me AGAIN within literally a minute of speaking with him - without even getting a chance to fully explain the situation. I waited on hold for another half an hour until I was finally helped by the 24/7 truck agent who had told me that your system was bugged and that was the reason my initial reservation hadn't gone all the way through. I asked for clarification and was reassured that I had done everything on my end in regards to submitting my reservation and that YOUR system was the issue because it hadn't finalized the reservation and the only way I would be able to resolve this would be by calling and going through the absolute nightmare that is your telephony customer service. I will go out of my way to avoid your services in the future and will be launching a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.Rogue S.

My truck was scheduled to be picked up at 6:00am. Upon arrival I was unable to pick up my truck using the online process. When I called customer service I waited on hold for 30+ minutes. I then chatted in instead and the rep told me that the reservation agent had not accepted the rental even though the payment for the truck was processed through my account 5 days before. The office was not really up to date. And parking if hauls was difficult. Also the worker at this location charged me for fuel when I made sure that I had returned the uhaul with the right amount of fuel. I am pretty upset about that.Kara M.

I put 8.7 miles on the truck.. And when i went to drop it off I put 8$ in the tank...i know i filled it up to where it said on the sheet yet when i returned it they said it was w gallons short... Extra 9$. Then, and I know this is my fault but i couldnt find a driver to return the truck on time and the person who rented the truck to me went on line with my info and booked another reaervation in my name..Shady business if you ask me. Take the license from this site, the gut was rude and disrespectful. He called me a liar when advised the truck had not been cleaned, a water bottle came from under the seat while I was driving, someone had a dog in the truck and dog hair flew around when I opened the windows.
