Awful drop-off parking, so narrow and disorganised, almost impossible to park a van on your own unless you’re a pro truck driver. And the office closes early.

I was told to leave the truck on 3rd Avenue and leave the key in the box by the door which I did exactly as told..To my surprise I was penalized with 20 dollars for doing so.its that ethical I ??personally don’t think so

There was less than a quarter tank of gas. So when you need every minute to do the moving, I had to stop first by a gas station. Completely dirty inside...It was disgusting to put a bottle of water in the cup holder. I mean, dirty from ever. And then it rained, and the windshield wipers were so bad, that I wasn't able to see anything. That tells you that no one cares for the client.

I love the self pick up option. When we arrived Sun morning to pick up the truck, there was a long line of unhappy customers. I am so glad I chose the self pick up option, even though we had a slight hiccup. I didn't know why I was rejected when trying to follow the websites steps in picking up the truck until my husband told me he missed the original call from Uhaul when I had listed him a reference. When he tried to call back, it was an automated voice. Luckily, I was able to use the chat function to ask Uhaul to call him back and from there we were able to get the truck with no issues.

Needlessly slow. Was supposed to pick up the vehicle at 8:00 am, when the store opened; only managed to get the truck at 9:20 am, after waiting in line since 8 (only had a single person at the desk giving out keys to the trucks, and he was insanely slow). They ran out of dollies in the first 15-20 minutes. Their only explanation was "we don't have dollies anymore, sorry."

Notify me when the location has changed. I rented from one location but was told my equipment was at another.

It was supposed to be a dreadful day, but given that it seemed like half of NYC was moving on the same day, I got in and out without issue and the reps on site were nice and helpful. Couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

I rented a dolly ahead of time and when I got to the location there was no dolly. It made my move 10 times harder as I had heavy items. I will always choose Home Depot from now on unless I get an apology and compensation.

The truck (15') that I reserved in advance was not available today. Would have been nice to know that I should've gone to another location. Staff were very helpful and professional though
