The location is not pleasant to looks. Charging ridiculously, please be humane. Stop the cunning billing. Present your speedometer in Km not miles so customers can do the maths themselves. Stop charging for cleanliness when indeed the inside is not dirty., who charges $25 to remove a plastic film. When customers return your fuel, do not charge them again. I am so unhappy with your service, that I will never use U-Haul again. I wish your business all the best though.

I was told to return truck was half tank of gas there was no m Erin of cleaning fee. Had I been advised we would have tried to clean it however assumed it was included the crazy price of 546.25 with extra mileage

Randy MAmong the best CS I have ever received. Due to shortage in available equipment, I had to travel over 2 hours to get a moving van. 1/2 hour out from pickup I received a call from owner that the van was broke down but that he was working on replacing the starting motor. Now that is not part of his responsibility to fix, but he went over and beyond what was expected to ensure my time wasn’t wasted for the travel. Thanks so much.

Matt GThe man that served me was very fast, polite and courteous. I have always used U-Haul when I need a truck and will continue to do so. Excellent service. I do, however, need to apologize to the gentleman that I returned the truck to. It was late and afterhours. I was meaning to fold the moving pads when I got to his location but I completely forgot until I got home. As the rental location was 1 hour and 20 minutes away I decided not to go back, so please send my apologies to him if you can. Thanks. Brian King

Vicke dWe made a reservation for a truck for a one way trip St. Johns to Clarenville only to be told one day before this reservation that there were no trucks in St. John’s. The accommodation was a truck in Clarenville and a two way trip which cost us $80 extra in gas. When you make a reservation, it should be confirmed so your plans can be relied on. If UHaul cannot commit to having a truck available, then dont create the reservation. I will be very hesitate to rely on UHaul in future because reserving equipment doesnt really mean anything.

Shannon RMy experience was a “gong show” from beginning to end. Although staff at the three locations were respectful they were limited in their ability to deal with issues. I booked a 10’ truck early before our move for a cost of $1049.00; however, several days before the pick up the cost was increased to $1400.00. Although I inquired with the Grand Falls-Windsor location where the booking was made and the truck to be picked up they could not explain it or rectify it. Likewise, when Chris from St. John’s was advised no action was taken. A day before the due to pick up date I went through a nightmare of picking up a truck that changed three times and was 2.5 hours away in Clarenville. After returning the truck and truck I was then harassed, offended, and abused by the owner/manager of a different location than where the vehicle and trailer were returned. She also threatened me.

keith gFirst of all, I was supposed to pick up a 6x12 enclosed trailer in St. John’s. 2 days before the date of my rental I was called and informed that they couldn’t locate that size trailer in my area, so I would have to drive 1.5 hours (one way) to pick up the trailer in a totally different location. I called the Clarenville location to confirm and make sure my parents could pick it up as I only had June 30th to get the last few things I needed before driving across the country and July 1st was a holiday. The man at that location was great and very understanding, but when he was confirming my rental, he said 5x8. So U-Haul had taken it upon themselves to change the size of my trailer WITHOUT me knowing to one much too small to transport the things I needed to bring for a permanent move. The closest trailer that was the size I wanted was a 4 hour drive in one direction, and totally not feasible. All that I was told was that a reservation made more than 3 days out from the day you need is not guaranteed. So there’s no point in being proactive and booking it 2 months prior to a big move because chances are they won’t have what you need available. Instead of spending $1200 for the trailer I needed, I ended up paying $450 for the trailer (they at least gave it to me for half price) and another couple THOUSAND to move the rest of my things with a moving company, on short notice, so none of it has arrived yet. I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul to anyone if they can avoid it.

neville fHad a terrible time trying to pick up the u haul. Took from7:30am - 10:00 just to get the truck. Followed the steps on the email and it said I didn’t have a reservation.mean while I had a email with a reservation number on it. If the worker had not showed up early like he did (9:30am) then I would of had to wait till he got there at 12:00pm. Definitely was not impressed by the pick up situation.
