The lady whom I talked to on the phone was very nice and everything was fine as far as the cost and contract. The problem is the vehicles are kept in a different location than the office, which is an unsecured area so three vehicles had their catalyst converters stolen from under them. I was able to complete my move but my low rating is for the security issue which caused three vehicles to be inoperable.John H.

Barbershop check out and check in with rental trucks / trailers located about a half mile away. I asked for 6 blankets and got 5. No other uhaul supplies available. Otherwise no problems at all.Charles S.

I took the uhaul there after hours. There was no uhaul sign or uhaul designation of any kind at the store. There was a mailbox sitting on the ground next to the door but I did not see a key drop box. I did not feel comfortable leaving the truck there so I drove it to the next uhaul rental company and left it there. They were closed but did have a slot in there door so I dropped the keys in the slot. When I returned home I called the 1800 uhaul number and told them about my experience. They said that since I dropped it off at the non-designated return location I could be charged an extra $20. Naturally I was not very pleased about that. So I had to return to the drop off point the next morning, pick the uhaul back up and take it to my designated drop off at Twin Cuts Barber shop. After having to take pictures of the odometer, inside and outside of the truck and a photo of the location where I parked it, I then had to upload the photos on my phone using the uhaul mobile app. The mobile app part was never explained to me. I guess I foolishly thought customer service still existed. Once all this was accomplished, I then had to figure out what to do with the key as Twin Cuts was not open. As I stood there befuddled suddenly the door cracked open and a hand stuck out. I handed the key to the hand and the door shut. As a person that worked in the customer service industry for 30 years I found my entire experience with uhaul appalling. I will never use their services again. I would rather pay more and deal with a reputable company. If someone from uhaul reads this, please contact Twin Cuts and at least require that they put a uhaul sign in their window and provide a drop box.Pat H.

For equipment question, i would say yes and no. It was somewhat clean. There was left over water bottles in the cabin. I truck bed, there was left over cardboard and a mat that could have been part of the truck. But, the biggest issues is it rained inside the truck. Looking from the back of the truck, up front on the right side, it rained in the truck. i had boxes that got wet, had one plate break because did not know that box was wet when picking it up. The location is awkward. Trucks are located down the street. Owner is nice but not knowledgeable about the entire mobile process. They charged me the wrong amount because of a discrepancy in a previous usage mileage different from what the actual mileage vs. the contract mileage. The mileage charge is wrong. Make sure you check your mobile contract to verify mileage because the pickup and drop off are mobile and you will not receive a paper contract in other u-haul locations. I am currently disputing charges with uhaul and if they are not corrected will dispute the charges with my credit card company. Overcharged for mileage...They automatically calculate mileage based on what their records indicate not the actual mileage. Be careful of the small print of the contracts. I wasn't aware of all the steps to return uhaul and had dropped the key in the drop box. Too many steps plus you can't verify mileage on contract until you receive electronic version of contract in your email. I was charged for 70 miles instead of 20 miles. $70 too much for a u-haul because the mileage we picked up the u-haul was different than what was on the contract. U-haul renters beware of mobile pick-up and drop-off. It is a headache and more trouble than it is worth.Lucretia F.
Should of went here first. Went to Riverside, spent one hour to get told the computer froze up. Was then sent to Grey Hwy. Where they didn't have a truck when we arrived. Was then sent to Twin Cuts on Wimbish. These guys were the Best. Was in and out in 10 mins. They were so helpful and Polite. I know where to go next time. Thanks Guys at Twin Cuts ??Rebecca H.

Turning in the vehicle (on a Monday morning) proved confusing. I ended up leaving the keys in the visor because there was no lockbox at the indicated drop off address. It also took about an hour to get the appropriate party on the phone. By then, I had already left the truck.Charles L.

Could not find the key drop box. It was on the ground by one of the neighboring buildings. Maybe raise the drop box up to eye level so it could be easily seen, or place the drop box by the door of the physical address for the drop off location. People were professional, courteous, very friendly. Unfortunately the truck is not allowed to be parked on site, and had to travel 1-2 miles to pick up the vehicle. Was surprised at less than half tank of gas and cardboard in bed. Was quickly handled. ***** Our original pick up location was at 4325 LOG CABIN DR in MACON. It is a hair salon. They were closed when we arrived- a full hour before U-Hauls pick up time. No answer when we tried to call. Did not answer U Hauls call either. Rerouted to Twin Cuts.Dawn P.

Location was closed during regular business hours. There was no lockbox to drop off truck key. Called U-Haul number and was told to leave key in driver visor and passenger door unlocked. I did not think this was a good option but was the only one.Bradley W.
