This was a terrible experience. The place was filthy, gross, No one was there when they were supposed to be, she finally came and had overslept. I ordered a utility dolly and they gave me an appliance dolly. It was too heavy. Went back next day to get the trailer. No one was there. Had to wait 45 minutes till she showed up. They tires to give me a dolly with the tail light ducked tape. I insisted on another one. I told her about the dolly. She said she would credit my account back the 10.00 and put it toward the unloading fee which was 10.00. She said it was 20.00 to load it on the dolly. Some guy came and did it. When I went to have the car unloaded In bakersfield. A young man named Alex and another female helped checked me in. He told me to get up In the car and back it up a bit to take the tightness off the security chains. Which I did and he unhooked them them. She told me to straighten the wheels. I did and she said good. Now go. I backed the car up and the drivers side bumper hit the wheel well of the dolly and detached the bumper. (Which I had just had replaced a month again). Now I am trying to contact corporate office to see how I can get it fixed

The guy who was to help un hook the trailer forgot about me so I had to do it myself. They took a long time to acknowledge the return of the trailer.

The owner was great to interact with and customer service was excellent. I did not check the inside of the trailer but when I got it home - the trailer absolutely reeked of cat urine. It was horrible. Unfortunately, there were no other trailers of this size in town and I needed to move our daughter to school. Even though I will be much more careful in inspecting my next trailer - this was a horrible experience and because of our schedule - I was left with no options.

It took over 45 minutes to get the paperwork done. The system was down and then it wouldn't take my card (uHaul's fault because AmEx said they hadn't received a transaction). It's also EXTREMELY frustrating to not pick up equipment where I knew the location and the people as I requested.

The customer service by phone was terrible I wanted to make sure my reservation was one way and they insisted that the drop off needed to be at the same location changing my schedule less than 24 hrs to pick up the truck. My schedule time to pick up the truck was 8:00 am we were there at 8:04am and nobody showed up until 8:15 am. At the end of the day I called U-Haul customer service and they changed my drop off location.

Truck was in great shape but moving supplies I'd ordered weren't available (no pads/blankets, which I really needed).

Provide a vehicle with a full tank of gas OR don’t charge customer for returning the vehicle at approximately the amount of fuel provided- this is a deceptive and unconscionable practice. Also provide a clean vehicle. If a customer asks for paperwork, it should be provided instead of denied. I am neither impressed nor happy with the overall experience.

I would not EVER rent another vehicle from this place. On the outside it looks like a very sketchy operation, and on the inside, it's even worse. Both guys that were in there looked (and smelled) as if they lived in this business. It was absolutely filthy, and didn't have any air conditioning, thus the stench was even worse. The guy who went to get the rental truck looked like he was using his own personal laptop. He and the other guy say in recliners the entire time, they didn't even get up to conduct business.
