I really like this location because I was able to get my vehicle upon requesting it the day before and the vehicle was in great shape; all of this made my moving experience satisfying. I find the manager, Kathy, very friendly and helpful.

Finished check out process, locked car, and went to drop keys in drop box....message inside drop box says “please park around behind shop”. Had to get back in truck, back it out of spot and drive to back of property. There needs to be an indication of where to park as part of checkout before you get to the point where you are literally dropping the keys in the box.

Put important information large print FLASH CARD near the center of the dashboard - things you really need to know but can't safely take your eyes off a long winding two-lane country road long enough to figure out. I completed my entire move before finding the time to find out why that Tow/Haul button was constantly flashing. It was an eight-mile winding country road move - no highways.

My rental was canceled due to the customer not returning the vehicle but I still needed to pay two workers (unhappy thinking they wont be paid for a entire day and rubbing off on me. Calling each other tick tock meaning they want their money for the time for the whole day they could be elsewhere) for the time of driving them here to wait until I was given a new rental agreement somewhere which wound up being this location. They ordered me and my truck to leave the property since uhaul was renting it to me directly. They approached my workers in their car and told them I was a lier and to get off the property right now. They had no idea what was happening. I was not allowed to talk to them. The two women owners or whatever relationship were very rude once I found they were renting me a unclean truck where the previous mask were in the floor and mud. I feel this was due to me changing my rental to be directly by uhaul instead of them and then for asking them what I should do if I am given dirty truck. The two also spoke loud so that the uhaul rep in the phone with me could hear them ordering me off the property and then that I can go through that little alexis from uhaul I was on the phone with and get off the property. When uhaul changed the rules since my last rental so that the renters can require a additional contact number from someone you know it affected me since I am 62 and my friends died and I am alone. These two () partners will call any number you give them to verify. If they can not reach them they say they do not have to rent to you. This can put you in a real bind on moving day when you are paying help by the hour. Total surprise for me on moving day. I am not a lier and would go to court with the uhaul rep alexis against the two partner (?) women owned business to prove it but it is not something to tell just anyone. In fact it is those partners who are the liers when they said they can only send email contracts and can not print due to software not connected. It was them that gave me a dirty truck with mask in the floor. Not sanitary. If not for alexis from uhaul I would be in violation of my house rental agreement and would be out more money than just the 3 hours each I was paying helpers. Too expensive to lie. I mean good grief get a life ---- partners.

The van wasn't clean inside. There was food and debris (used PPE) in the cab of the van. It ran perfectly and the staff. Was super nice.

They are good at charging unseen costs. Analogy: I feel like I enter the restaurant seeing a 5$ dinner but bills after dinner come with desk charge (5$), water charge (5$), time charge (5$).. bla bla......... and they said I have to pay since I already had that so called 5$ dinner.

TOO MANY MISQUITOS IN THE TRUCK LOT OUT BACK!!!!!! I almost broke out really freaking bad trying to take pictures out there to check the truck back in. I was bit 10+ different times which made it the most horrible experience ever, but other than that everything else was fine.

By the time I got the van, my online check in had expired. I wasn't told that would happen if I didn't pick up the van a b it later than I said I would. I find that disconcerting and potentially problematic, because I did not get To describe the condition of the van when I picked it up.

The idea that a 10' truck can carry a king-sized bed is total BS. The description states "The 10ft moving truck can easily fit a king sized bed, frame, loveseat, two end tables, and a four piece dining room table with spare room for boxes filled with household items." A king-sized mattress does not fit in the truck without bending. This creates wasted space. Your claim is a fraud.

Due to a huge mishap with Budget I had to call U-Haul. The customer service person was welcoming, willing to help and provided great customer service. Nothing to improve on except to continue to provide the quality service that you do, I will highly recommend U-haul to friends and family.

Your website and software sucks. It kept switching me to a different location and I called this closer-to-me location 3 times to set things up directly. Also, I was told that a GPS on the truck would send me a text when I got back to the lot. It did not. We returned the key to the dropbox before I used an old text to navigate to the order and closeout. The people I talked to at the location were always nice and helpful, but your software was very frustrating.

After 45 minutes trying to figure out what truck I asked I guess the owners I needed to which truck was mine. The person that came over told me what truck and left. I had to go in on the passenger side because the drivers side was close to the other truck. They should be open for a half a day on Saturdays.

The website and many of the electronic communications associated with the rental left A LOT to be desired. For instance, the notification that my reservation had been received should have been augmented with the address of the location. There wasn't even the word U-Haul in that email so that I couldn't find it when I searched my inbox for the pertinent info.

Along with the truck, I ordered 12 moving blankets. I did the contactless pick-up and found only 4 blankets inside the truck. Otherwise, everything worked out well.

Vehicle did not have a full tank of gas upon receipt, but it was returned with a full tank of gas. I only put 19 miles on the vehicle but paid as if I put about 75 miles on it.

I was forced to use this location as my preferred pickup location did not have the size truck I needed, even though I reserved the truck 2 months in advance. I needed to pick up the truck at 7am which was accomodated by the online check-in process. That worked just fine. The problem is that the pickup location failed to include the dolly and furniture pads that I reserved. Since the physical location was not yet open for business, I was forced to leave without those items. Several pieces of my furniture was damaged as a result.

The size of the truck was changed from the original reservation and changes in pricing where not discussed. Also I was not informed of an off hour service charge because of renting during the weekend. People at the office were not wearing masks and claimed their work did not allow it when requested. They also did not accommodate completing the paperwork outside. The keys of the truck were given without any instructions as to how to operate the truck, which for a first timer could be very challenging. Also, the questionnaire to record the status of the truck prior to rental did not allow me to submit answers and the link became unusable before I could finish. They gave me a reservation that ended after 10 hrs instead of 24, but I believed was charged for 24.

Staff were friendly. The cargo van drove well, but it was dirty. I swept out the back but it needs a more thorough cleaning. There was trash in the driver compartment and the seats were covered with dog hair, as if a dog had been living in it for a couple of days. The receipt for the rental was difficult to interpret-- there were 2 total charges, neither of which corresponded to the charge on my credit card. It was just a few dollars, so I didn't bother to complain.

My quote was much lower than what I ended up being charged, even though my estimated miles was very close to my actual mileage. I didn't appreciate being caught off guard with nearly triple the moving expense. I was also charged For SafeMove even though I opted out of it, so the additional charge made the rental even higher than the quoted price.

We were charged for an extra day and after hours charge and the receipt showed a return of time of 1:17pm. This is 100 percent incorrect. My wife and I returned the truck prior to her work at UNC hospital, she must be there by 830am and we returned the truck before 8am. In addition we were charged for a missing utility dolly, this was NOT missing. Calls to Triangle Tires were not successful, I assured them I returned the utility dolly and they said this was not true. I said that maybe it was stolen, and was shouted at and hung up on, saying that only her and the owner work there and I called them a thief. Calling back again to politely stare that perhaps my truck rental return was mixed up with another (as I did not return the truck after 1pm!) were met with being told I should never call back again and that me doing so was “borderline harassment”. This is unacceptable. The additional $119 I was charged is entirely in error, I did return a utility dolly, and the time showing as my return time is incorrect. Very frustrating.

I ordered furniture pads which turned out to not be available. The person on-site said they would remove this from my bill and I included a note when checking the vehicle back in as a reminder, yet I was still charged for the supplies which I never received.

When I plugged in this location initially, it gave me a different location that was 7 minutes away from where I lived. When I got there, it was clear it wasn't Triangle Tires. When my friend that was with me plugged it into his phone (he has an android, I have an iphone) it directed him somewhere else that was an additional 15 minutes away. I would have chosen a different location if I knew it was so far away. His phone also took him through all these backroads even though we knew it was on 54 so why not stay on that. We stayed on 54 instead on our return trip and figured out why it was saying that would be so much longer. Instead of just being able to turn in like you can, it made you go way farther down and circle back according to the directions. Most of my frustrations were with the online check-in, which has nothing to do with this location I'm sure. But I wasn't expecting them to be closed, so I felt really confused and didn't have someone to talk to initially. When we got the keys, I think the owner had stopped by, and she seemed really nice. I explained that I was on the "please wait" screen after entering my info, and she told me that they sometimes get really busy and it can take a while. That was comforting, as I was starting to think the app wasn't working or froze. I was disappointed that my van didn't have the furniture pads and dollies that I ordered. But as they were closed, there wasn't much I could do and I didn't want to drive all the way to a different u-haul. My initial email said a u-haul representative would contact me the day prior to schedule the exact pick up time, equipment, and location. I wasn't contacted, and that may have been a good opportunity to confirm my equipment and just go over the location as my iphone clearly had it wrong. I left a laptop in the front seat of the van, and the owner was very kind and gave me a couple of different options for picking it up which I really appreciated. I would recommend this location if the directions got cleared up, and they contacted you the day before.

When I rented out a regular 9' van, I did not request any blankets or moving items. Upon arriving the the location, I saw a bunch of dirty blankets in the back of the van. Completed my move and swept the truck afterwards. However, I was charged because the blankets that were in there had shaken out their dirt/grass/straw contents all over the van and I was charged an additional $25 for a 'cleaning fee' that I should not have received.
