We were supposed to pick up U-Haul in Shelley Idaho that vehicle was never returned on time and therefore was told that we had to drive an hour in the opposite direction to pick up a U-Haul at this location when we finally arrived the business was closed and couldn't assist us with attaining the keys after four phone calls to the 800 hotline we finally were able to get the keys and get in the U-Haul The windshield was disgusting to say the least I washed it at the nearest gas station and then when I got to the house was able to get it somewhat cleaned. Both interior of the truck and the cargo portion of the truck were clean and ready to go but if there's anything that's more important than anything else it's having a clean windshield.

There was a charge that shouldn't have been applied. They could not remove it but advised us to pay the full amount and that the drop off location would remove it. The drop off location also couldn't remove the charge so we ended up overpaying. We were told (at the drop off location) that we would be contacted within 48 hours and the extra charge would be taken care of and have not yet been contacted (it has been over 48 hours already).

No one explained that the latch (on the trailer) could get caught making it impossible to close the door once it is opened. I had to call for help to get the door unstuck. They were helpful and came out when they could, but having some word of caution or directions on the door would have prevented this. Some instruction would have been appreciated.

I showed up when they opened but had to wait one hour until the lady who knew how to run the uhaul systems started her shift to charge me for the rental. The other employees were not trained. Then the truck had dirt and mud all over the floor inside the cab and inside the bed of the truck.

Customer service personnel should have more general knowledge of the roads and locations in the area. when I asked 2 different employees for directions, I was told "I am not sure". Perhaps google is unavailable to them????

I didn't rent this uhaul. When I got the email with the contract, I called the store. The woman at the store assured me that she didn't know why my name popped up and that the guy paid cash. However, the contract has my name on it.

My rental confirmation changed pick up location three times and when I finally got the truck it was smaller than I desired requiring more trips and more mileage spent. Uhaul did a poor job making the process simple and easy to work with. But tristate tire was very helpful and supportive.

Helped me out to get the trailer and turn it in for an additional cost due to an accident. No damage to the trailer but Was still charged for an extra day even though I had no capability to return it without a towable vehicle.

Paperwork to rent if cumbersome and redundant. When it takes longer to complete the rental agreement than the time the trailer will be rented something is wrong. For return customers renting locally and returning within 24 hours. you should be able to run a credit card and be on your way.

We had one invoice for the trailer and another for a dolly. It was hard to figure out how to register the return of the dolly on the system. Maybe work on that. Otherwise service was great!

I rated above average for location, clean, friendly,. BUT, CHECK IN SYSTEM WAS WORSE THAN BAD, it took over an hour to get checked in even when I called twice to give info and reconfirmed. I was suppose to have final receipt sent via e mail, and never got it, even when I called to remind them. More training needs to be done on getting paperwork right.

First of all I had a reservation to pick up a trailer in Rexburg Idaho for Saturday June 4. As I was about to arrive in Rexburg on Friday I received a call from U-haul that size trailer was not available in Rexburg. Now be aware I had made a reservation several days before that pick up date. I was informed there was that size trailer in Ashton, Idaho if I would go the extra 25 miles to pick it up, and I would recieve a twenty dollar discount. However, I would need to be there before 5:00 pm closing. When I arrived in Ashton there was no trailer available. The manager went to checking and discovered he had entered the wrong return date in the computer. So after waiting for two and a half hours the trailer arrived. I did receive the discount and took the trailer back 25 miles to be loaded in Rexburg. I returned the trailer to Garden City, Idaho on Monday June 6. Since then I have been charged to my credit card, in addition to the $51.00 I paid in Ashton, Idaho, $318.53 which is an incorrect charge. I called the manager in Ashton and he realized that charge was not correct and should not have been on my card. As of today June 15 that charge has not been removed, which the Ashton Manager had said it would be deleted.I am completely unsatisfied with the service I have received from U-Haul. I will not rent from them again and I will tell every one I can about the poor service I received from this company. A very unsatisfied customer, Mike Ryals

The persons here do not seem to be able to adequately negotiate their way through the computer system. I feel that they need more training with the system. I had provided all of the needed info by phone when I reserved the trailer but when I arrived I had to start over and the trailer was not reserved after all. Waldo was polite and helpful but struggled with the computer. I had reserved it with Brady.

Provide equipment at rental place where the customer requests it to be at. Get communication practices improved, I had to call 4 times to get my order corrected again and again, because the system or personnel kept losing my requests.
